Bradley Hotel

This was by far the most unprofessional way of handling a problem I have ever encountered. When I got back to my room after a long and exhausting day I found that my room had not been cleaned. I called front desk and explained that my room had not been cleaned my complaint was met with rudeness and an attitude of I don’t care and if you don’t like it […] too bad. I was going to stay there another week instead I changed to another hotel, got a call from a manager who seemed to be apologetic but when I suggested that he do something that would earn my business again he stated that there was no way that he would fulfill my request. Well there is another hotel close by. Thanks but no thanks. If I was the manager of a hotel that wants to keep a guest that had stayed in my hotel 4 times before had 2 rooms in one night and tells me he wants to come back all I have to do is give him a lower rate for just one night to show I wanted his business back I think I would give him a night free instead. Thee custmer sierves was great .the rooms where a site to see lol but all in all the place was not something i can complane.i had a good time there

My son was stranded at the Bradley Airport during holiday travel season, with very little money and no car. I booked him into this hotel at the last minute specifically because it was listed as having an airport shuttle. My son soon found there was no shuttle. I called Hotels.com and asked if, since the hotel didn't offer the amenities it claimed to, […] that I get a refund despite its "no refund" status. Hotels.com agreed this was reasonable, and called the hotel for me. The hotel flat out refused. Hotels.com felt bad, and offered to cover the cost of a taxi themselves. This is the reason I book with them--excellent service! The Bradley Hotel--obviously customer service is of zero importance to these people. A basic hotel with a more reasonable price than surrounding hotels. This was very convenient to the airport with a Shuttle Service. We were pleasantly surprised that they allowed us to leave our car at the hotel for a less expensive rate than many of the park and fly places. Overall, nothing fancy but clean and convenient!

My husband and I stay at this hotel regularly when he visits his kids in CT and it's the best room we've found for the rate. It could use some upgrades and the walls have visible nails and screws from upkeep but it's not a bad hotel. It's got a couch, desk and coffee table in it and it doesn't feel cramped at all. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The beds were comfy and was a nice area, friendlys staff, only this is the pool area and the leaking roof. But other then that i would definitely stay here again

It was bad. I hated it. Smoke smell on non-smoking floors. Dirty, horrible customer service. I wouldnt go there again.

The room decor is outdated and old looking including sheets, drapes and carpet. Room furniture is old and uncoordinated. The coat rack is not in a closet, there's just a coat bar with hangars in a corner of your room. The TVs are CRT with no inputs for a portable dvd player. No HBO. There's no elevator. You can't park your car near your room, because […] all the other doors except for the front entrance are locked. The key cards are poor quality, and you will have get your key reprogrammed even if you take precautions to keep it from your credit cards and cell phone. I shouldn't have been surprised, I suppose because this was one of the least expensive motels near Bradley Intn'l Airport, but it really is showing its age. The lobby is expansive and smacks of former glory days, but now the place just looks shabby and sad. This hotel could use a little renovation and they are currently working on that. It was clean and convenient especially for the price. When we asked for more towels we were accomodated right away. Hotel staff was very friendly, breakfast was good.

From the time we entered the building, it smelled musty -- no air circulation. Once we reached our room, the air reeked of cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room; the carpet was dirty; the door to the bathroom was so dirty I felt I should have brought some cleaning supplies; and the TV did not work because the connected […] cable was damaged. We requested another room which was right next door. The only improvement there was that the TV worked and the bathroom door was clean. The air was so stifling of cigarette smoke that we could not wait to get out of the building. We had difficulty sleeping for obvious reasons, and we made sure to cover with the sheet only and moved the spread and blanket away. It was the dirtiest lodging. Management is very rude and condescending. Hairs(pubic) in Bathtub as soon as I checked in. Employees untrained/unknowledgable of hotel policies. In empty/scary neighborhood not close to any other business. Extremely disappointed in entire experience with this location and WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!

We stayed at this hotel during the insane snow storm of Oct 2011. The hotel like the much of CT lost power. We found the staff to be kind and helpful. They even tried to have a hot breakfast available using catering sterno cans to keep things warm. It was a decent hotel at an affordable rate.

I never write reviews, but I had such a bad experience at this hotel....I had to say something. Yes, it's cheap and close to the airport, only reason we selected them from online. The hallway to the rooms smelled horrible! The smell actually made my wife gag every time we stepped into the hallway. The bathroom had someone else's hairs all over the place, […] so we skipped taking our morning shower. The complimentary breakfast was a joke, giving away hard muffins, and the milk was outdated. The bed was extremely hard and we both had a very hard time sleeping. The area around the hotel is dirty and in a bad area, and even had another person in the parking lot ask me for money. Rolled in at 2am exhausted. Filthy and smelly hallways, articles of clothing strewn about on main floor and second floor in front of my room. My request for a cleaning crew was not honored, and the same filth was there the following morning. The room condition itself was okay for a low-cost hotel, until I discovered a bloodstain that was not mine on […] the other side of the pillowcase the next morning. Room was fair, very small pillows, not very clean, pool area had signs of mold, definately a low end hotel, if your looking for a cheap sleep for a night it may be worth it, I won't go back.

The hotel personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was reasonably clean. The door to the bathroom in my room would not shut (hinges seemed to be seized), and the corridors stank of mildew from the indoor pool (probably a ventilation effort would take the moisture away from the carpeted floors). Seemed a safe area.

Yes, the carpet was a little warn in the hallways. (Who rents a room for the quality of hall carpet?) There was no fan in the bathroom, and the bathroom faucet had a tendency to shoot water at your midriff if you put it on too hard. But this place was awesome for the cheap price. There was a huge dish of fresh sliced mixed fruit and melon, good selection of other breakfast food. The pool was nice: great temperature of water and air. The kids were ready to leave before I was. Nice atmosphere, clean. The location was super convenient. The staff were very helpful (especially when I ran into the lobby yelling about where to find the closest emergency room! The hotel was under major renovation.

I want to start by saying all of the staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel sketched me out a little. I was on the first floor and my room had a large sliding glass door that faced the dark back lot of the hotel. Since I was there on my own, it made me uneasy. I wasn't sure how secure that entrance was. Never been a room with a second entrance like […] that. There were also people running up and down the hallway for what seemed like all night. I arrived around 12:30am and they still woke me up periodically. Also there were a lot of kids in the indoor pool well after the listed hours. The hotel is being renovated so parts are still a little outdated. However, the front desk service was wonderful with the staff going above and beyond to help us locate suitable restaurants and other amenities. The hotel is very reasonable and near to Springfield so it mad an excellent base for the Big E and for Six Flags. I will stay there again and […] look forward to their new pool Leer más

This hotel wasn't bad, a little old. Big downfall is that our room was on the 2nd floor with no elevator. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable.

The hotel was kind of hard to find, but once we did, we were very pleased with what we got for the price. Our room was large and comfortable, and the place was very clean. There aren't a lot of restaurants--or much of anything else--nearby, though, so we ended up ordering a pizza to be delivered. All in all, though, a nice place at a good price.

This hotel can seem a bit off at first given the maintenance going on with the entrance (I mean the area where cars pull under to drop people/luggage off), and a few drips going on in the lobby, but really beyond that everything was great. Quick check-in, clean room (though I'm not sure there's an elevator- we just took the stairs). Everything was above […] my expectations given the affordable price. Nice continental breakfast (pastries, cereal, coffee) that was available pretty late by hotel standards, which I appreciated. I was sorry we didn't have a chance to check out the pool. This hotel has a good lobby, but once you get into the corridors, you will feel the smell and see the very old and not well maintained condition of the hotel. It must be a very old hotel and requires renovation. The bedding used were not comfortable at all. Must be replaced. The breakfast is very basic and not at all healthy. Obviously the owners/managers of this hotel have a large hotel to keep up - I think they are doing very well. The mattress was firm and comfortable, the sheets crisp and clean. The shampoos and the hair dryer were excellent. The pool looked very clean and inviting, though some plants would have added some character! The marble floors at the reception […] area were so clean you could eat off them, and the breakfast, while not fancy, was fine. In all staying there before an early flight was a great idea and I left CT feeling clean, rested and well-fed. I recommend this place to folks who have early flight from Bradley - or if they get back very late, too tired to drive. Leer más

Inexpensive place with good location close to the main road. Rooms are large equipped with everything you need in them. Clean descent place you can’t have anything better for this money.

The front oa Hotel is block off 1St room bed not made room not clean 2st room no A/C and had bad order to it (Musty smell) the continal breakfest bagels stale, no hot water for tea had to ask for it. The only good thing was the pool was clean

It was a nice hotel, but I am a little upset since I was told here was an airport shuttle and there was none. There is also no restaurant on site. It was worth the price, but missing a few things that would give it a higher rating.

Would have expected a high price given the season (fall foliage), but loved that it was not. The experience lived up to the pictures (which some places do not). Pillows were not junk, an ultimate bonus. The only "flaw" was the request for a fridge.. was told that "no one was there to bring it up." My incorrect assumption had been there would be one […] in the room. I was informed that there was an extra charge $20 if one was desired and delivered. That information should have been included on the website instead of just the fact that they were available upon request on a first-come, first-served basis. I was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff at the hotel. The hotel is currently under remodeling. However, they provide the best service one can expect.

This hotel in my recent memory I have ever stayed. This place was a dump. They it was three miles away big lie.

Unhappy. It rain and the phone went dead card reader on room wouldnt work. No internet service. Pool closed and staff had no idea why. Thank goodness the price was cheap now I know why.

This place isn't nearly as bad as some of the reviews suggest. My room and bathroom were both clean. Hotel staff were very friendly. WiFi worked great. Interesting reproduced artwork throughout hotel. I have stayed in places that cost twice as much and weren't in any better condition than Bradley and in some cases worse. The pool was open and looked […] nice, although I didn't use it, other guests seemed to enjoy themselves. The only things I noticed was the ceiling leaking in the lobby when it rained. As long as the room didn't leak I could care less. The workout facility had only 4 aerobic machines that weren't exactly working. Other than that, I thought the place was fine. The wireless internet does not work in the rooms, and many rooms don't have an ethernet plug. I had to switch rooms 3 times because the front desk doesn't know which rooms have ethernet plugs and which don't. Rooms are NOT CLEAN! Spider webs in the corners. Saggy mattress. Only decent thing is that the bathrooms have been renovated recently.
