Finding the hotel was a task, as there are no directions or information regarding the public transit (this would've been incredibly helpful). Front desk personnel were very impersonal, and not helpful in general. Room and amenities were all very nice.

Started off well, arrived early and could check in early at 10:30am instead of waiting to 2pm and had a free breakfast but it stopped there. We were given a basement room, the shower smelt of sewer which stank the bathroom out so much, I had to shower in my inlaws bathroom. Asked to move rooms but the guy on reception said fully booked and that was that. We also couldnt open our curtains as people walking on the street could see straight into our room. Dark dingy and smelly. Location was also a lot further out than expected, travelled with family who couldn't walk that far and took at least 20 minutes to get into the heart of Amsterdam....not exactly central!!!!

As expected, the room was small but beds were comfortable. It was only a short walk from the tram #25 stop. We enjoyed the full breakfast buffet.

The last thing I worry about is noise but it was difficult to sleep in this place. Noise came from 3 places (street, roof and door) all night long (and morning). Cleaning staff extremelly loud in the morning. I've stayed in hostels before and never felt disturbed even with the young around. The location doesn't worth the nights without sleeping. Next time I'll stay in the city. The only thing good about this hotel was the breakfast (but quite crowded though, had to share a table with people I didn't know).

Hotel was located in a quiet neighborhood, away from the party scene but easily accessible by tram. No free wifi, just an expensive paycard. Good breakfast, though.

This hotel is in a good location however there was so much construction going on in and around the hotel that getting out and about was not that easy and walks had to be made on wooden planks and sand. The room was way too small for a triple room and the walls were paper thin. We had no sleep one night due to the noise from the adjacent rooms. The complimentary breakfast was the only plus to this hotel stay.

This is hotel has a very good location if you want to see alot of things in amsterdam. it is located right by the train and is easy to hop on and take is anywhere.hotel is inbetween the heart of the city, but still by the locals.Which is nice because you get to see both areas and sides of the city. Rooms are very nice and clean. Continental breakfast was VERY good and had lots of variety. I would stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.

A very well placed hotel for many of the essential sights and the RAI. A no 4 bus to RAI and Central Station stops a couple of hundred meters away. Traffic noise from 5am to 12 midnight and the room size which while comfortable for a single bed was cramped by the addition of a second single. Breakfast was excellent, cafeteria style, with a good choice, and there are plenty of restaurants locally for other meals. My advice to any would be guest is try not to have a room overlooking the street if you are a light sleeper, and check the room furnishing arrangement. This is classed as 5 star, but that is an exaggeration, it simply does not have 5 star amenities. It should be a good 3 star or normal 4 star I would certainly stay there again

The hotel was very old, the rooms were tiny, the bed was uncomfortable, the hallways were dark and dreary, and there was no one to help with lugguge, nor were there any luggage carts to use. The only redeeming quality is that the breakfast was adequate. I would not recommend this hotel. It was expensive to boot.

I recently stayed here while attending a conference at the RAI and had a very good experience. The hotel is right next to the #4 tram, which takes you to both the RAI and city center. The location was great! The hotel was not top of the line, but clean, comfortable, and a good value. I would definitely stay here again for business or holiday.

The room was very small for 3 twin beds, and had no air conditioning, which was a problem given that the temperature was unseasonably warm for April´(high 70s-80s)

It's close to museums and downtown, on the edge of a residential area. The standard room was TINY. The price, one of the cheapest for a hotel of this category, includes a decent buffet breakfast.

The hotel was very well positioned for walking into the centre of Amsterdam (about 20 minutes walk). The area was quite at night however we were warned not to park on the streets as cars had been broken into. The rooms were small but well kept.Breakfast was included in room price and was excellent. Parking in the hotels car park was impossible (about 5 spaces), the receptionist would not reserve a space and the only way to gain a space was to wait until someone left! Walking around Amsterdam quite dangerous - mad bike riders and trams.

This hotel describes itself as a boutique style hotel with design classics in every room. It was once an orphanage - and I think very little had been done to the room I stay in to get rid of that feeling. There was nothing in the room but the bed (I think the design classic must have been the radiator, as there were no other options!), the shower had dirty old tiles, and it was on a corridor which was a thouroughfare to the rest of the hotel - so I was woken every 10 minutes all night. If this is your only option at least pay the extra for a deluxe room - otherwise go elsewhere

Like a previous reviewer I was a little concerned about the hotel and that I'd made a wrong choice. However, all was fine - the room was comfortable and clean, it was small but functional. A little noisy at times, as we were in the basement between the stairs & the lift, so could hear everything in the passage and outside the window, but only during the day as a rule. Breakfast was nice if you like continental style, a good selection of all sorts & plenty of it. Tip for tea/sugar addicts - take/buy your own! We had 2 tea bags in our room to last us 12 hours until the next 2 arrived - nightmare! Asking the hotel staff for more turned into a Monty Python sketch, so next day I bought supplies and a pint of milk as the hotel only have creamer!! The location is great and we walked everywhere, on last 2 days got the Canal Bus from down the road as you can hop on and off at different stops. Great market nearby selling everything and some pretty good restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotellet har en god placering i forhold til city, dog er parkeringsfaciliteterne ringe. Parkeringshus ca. 400 m. fra hotellet, med en høj P-afgift.. Absolut et hotel der er velegnet til et kortere visit i Amsterdam.

Det er meget kompakt, selvom billederne er gode er værelset meget lille og det er svært at have plads til kufferten... Trappen er umulig selv uden kuffert så håb på at elevatoren virker... Ellers har det en god placering og god morgen buffet og service generelt.

Det vaerste var den uvaerdige ydmygende behandling. Betalt over nettet, de var sikret deres penge, hvorfor de tillod sig at opfoere sig yderst ubehageligt. Vaerelse var ulaekkert beskidt med lidt oedelagt inventar og med en balkon, der fungerede som skraldespand. Service var overvejende aggresiv. Eller fravaerende. Aftaler blev ikke overholdt. Jeg klagede over standarden, ingen reaktion. Jeg klagede flere gange, fik til sidst tilbudt et vaerelse paa et andet trestjernet hotel. Samme kaede eller en samarbejdspartner. Oplevede det var standardprocedure. Eksempel paa daarlig behandling. Jeg blev opkraevet byskat for hele opholdet ved ankomst paa foerste hotel uden at faa kvittering, fik intet refunderet ved hotelskift, blev opkraevet byskat paa det andet hotel, til trods for forsikringer om, at foerste hotel tog sig af alt det oekonomiske, naegtede at betale to gange, fik skaeld ud, blev anklaget for at bo uden at betale, de oenskede ikke at se mig igen. Gensidigt.

Ett fantastiskt prisvärt hotell i utkanten av Amsterdams centrum. Standard hotellfrukost. Helt och rent. Trevligt litet rum med utsikt över staden och kanalen utanför. Rekommenderas varmt om du söker ett billigt, bekvämt och hyfsat centralt hotell.

Vi fikk et rom i kjelleren, en smal og bratt trapp ned, noe som kan bli en utfordring med en stor koffert. Rommet var helt greit men bar tydelig preg på at mye hadde skjed tidligere.Døren ut til koridoren og ut til bakgården var ekstremt lytt. Siden vi hadde rom rett under frokost rommet hørtes det veldig godt når noen gikk, men ikke noe vi brydde oss om siden vi var våken og på tur ut . Bade var helt greit, bra rengjøring. Frokost og frokost rommet var bra, litt lite plasser kanskje, men gikk helt fint.

Standadern var ok och det kändes rent och fräscht. Badrummet var bra och kändes helt ok. Frukostbuffen var väl ok för att vara en hotrellfrukost men den var verkligen inget över det vanliga. Ganska trist om jag ska vara helt ärlig.

Hotel sympathique, bon rapport qualité prix. Le gros atout: localisé tout près d'une des lignes principales de tram qui mène en plein centre ville en moins de 10mn. Chambre agréable, salle de bain flambant neuve. Seul inconvénient, les murs ne sont pas très épais, on entend les autres occupants de l'hotel quand ils traversent le couloir. D'autre part notre fenêtre ne fermait pas hermétiquement et on entendait les voitures passer pendant la nuit. Heureusement que le traffic routier à Amsterdam est très faible. Malgré tout, coup de coeur pour cet hotel sympathique.

Quando siamo arrivate io e mia figlia ci hanno dato una camera da tre per lo stesso prezzo perchè non avevano più libere camere doppie. La nostra camera era rinnovata di recente per cui il bagno era perfetto la pulizia buona, cambio asciugamani tutti i giorni. La colazione a buffet è discreta. Staff gentile. Inoltre l'hotel è a 200 metri dalla fermata dei tram che portano alla stazione centrale in 10 minuti. Ci tornerei volentieri la prossima volta.
