Cerca de la playa en pleno centro de South Passage, Island Inn se encuentra cerca de lugares de interés como Andy Bowie Park, Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark y Sea Turtle Rescue Center. Es un hotel que cuenta con lo necesario para dormir alli. Cuenta con un pequeño refrigerador y microondas que te pueden ayudar a ahorrar algo en comidas. Está bien ubicado y la playa a 200 mts. Lo recomiendo para 1 o 2 noches.

Hotel no es limpio, empleados (oficina) no son atentos, tuve que pedir toallas limpias porque no las cambian, ademas no funciona la maquina de hielos y si pides te dan una sola vasija de hielo ,falta higiene en las habitaciones

Encontramos lo que necesitabamos, un lugar para descansar, limpio y seguro. Una sola sugerencia: ofrecer variedad en el desayuno continental ya que todos los dias nos ofrecieron lo mismo, mini donas...
HOTEL WAS SMALL FELT CRAMPED NO VIEW.
Th hotel is not a beach front as advertised. Continental breakfast does not mean coffee and daughnut only. Overpriced for a maybe 2 star hotel

The room was suppose to be handicapped but it was so small we could not get a wheelchair into it. No coffeemaker. We were suppose to stay 4 nights but left after one night.

Just stayed for one night but was pleased with the service and everything was so accessible to go walking, especially the beach. My husband, daughter's friend, daughter, and myself enjoyed our day at the beach.

Very close to everything on Padre Blvd. and close enough to the Beach to walk without paying too much. Convenient for loners in S. Padre Island.

my wife and i stayed here for our honeymoon, staff was great room was good was a little put off by the whole room being tiled but having never been on the island before we quickly found out why as sand got everywhere lol, but our stay here was fun and will be back

The kids loved the pool...... the only thing is u can't have food in the pool area its at the island who wouldn't want to have a BBQ or at least sandwiches after a long day at the beach

We didn't plan to spend the night at the Island, but it got late and I looked up a hotel online, found this one, had pretty good reviews so we got a room. I was over all pleased with the room, the a/c is hard to adjust to the right temp, tile floors are cold but cleaner than carpet and our tv remote didn't work. They didn't have enough towels to accommodate […] 4, only two, I asked at the front desk and they gave me 2 more. "price and comfort good"
The hotel was centrally located to everything and was clean. Staff was helpful and curtious,rooms were clean and comfortable. In all would stay again. Only fall back was that the kids staying there were loud and inconsiderate. I blame the parents for the kids being loud not the hotel

This is a hotel that was formerly a franchise and is now independent. Beds were firm, pillows were flat, AC worked well. For a family who's not spending much time in the room it is adequate. "The Island Inn is a nice hotel on the bay side"
The hotel was overall great. The staff worked with us on some issues that most hotels wouldnt. The rooms were clean but were on the bay side not the beach side. It is located close to shops and restaurants. It has an average sized pool. No problems and will definitely return.

Hotel was good for the price over all. We did get an unwanted wake-up phone ring at 6 am. We did't set it. I unplugged the phone the 2nd night to avoid a repeat. Also the maids came knocking at 9 am to ask if we wanted the room cleaned. We had partied the night before so that was a little early. Also the breakfast was supposed to open 6-9 am. Very nice hotel. The only thing I did not like about the room was that the sink was not in the bathroom, but in the room's entry hall.

The rooms were clean, mattresses were uncomfortable. We chose this hotel based on description. It said it came with a continental breakfast which consisted of the mini chocolate donuts and oj. Probably wouldn't stay again...

I would never, ever let anyone or animal stay that this place, in fact my family and checked out 2 days early and went to another hotel. Sheets were dingy, floors were sticky, room felt clamy and could not get thermostat to adjust to comfortably temp. Breakfast was carafe of orange juice, coffee and the tiniest doughnuts ever.

They were very accommodating! Had one extra unexpected guest and they had no problem with it. The only issue I had was that the room was way smaller than I expected but for the price I didn't complain.

I stayed at this hotel during spring break and loved it! The staff was really nice unlike some of the previous hotels I stayed at during spring break. They are really laid back. The rooms were clean and neat.

We were checked in and told to register. I registered the 2 persons that were staying in our room the first night. The 2 other people that were arriving on Saturday were not allowed to register and were expected to pay extra per person for not being present to register on the 1st day. It may have been because it was spring break, but they were really strict and kinda rude, you had to wear a wrist band at all times, and couldn't bring anyone in who wasn't staying there. Other than that the rooms were spacey and nice. I'd stay there again.

The Island Inn hotel is a very nice, affordable & high quality hotel with all the amenities I expected. I will most definitely return & will recommend to anyone traveling in the area. It's conviently located & surrounded by all anyone would ever want to enjoy in the area, (shopping, dining, outdoor activities & so much more..). It was my first stay […] there & I must say..the Island Inn did NOT disappoint. We also enjoyed the pool..(was very impressed..) & my companion was equally satisfied, if not a little more.. It was what I expected, its a place to sleep. There are restuarants and shops nearby and the beach is a walk away.

The hotel from outside looked good but inside the room was totally different story. The air conditioning did not work good. The window curtains were not clean and looked like black mold on them, when questioned was told that it is the dust coming from the air conditioners.

The weekend rate was 3 times that of the weekdays, what ripoff. The hotel met the standards of a 1 star hotel. Toilet backed up, night staff, did not know where the plunger was, no one to fix it or clean the mess. The worst was no apology. The hotel should stop mentioning continental breakfast. The room was great. Had all you needed but a stove. It's perfect for anyone visiting South Padre who just needs a place to sleep. Nothing Fancy. But it's duties were all there. I was out & about all day and the price of this room per night was worth it. The staff was friendly, the service was an A+! Speaking of, the Beach is right across the street & there are so many souvenir shops nearby in walking distant. The hotel was drab. The room has a strong smell of cleaners like oxi-clean and had no vents or ventilation so the smell stayed in the room.
