buen hotel, pero para salir debes o tomar un taxi o salir en auto porque no hay nada cerca y salir caminando me dio la impresion que es un poco peligroso en esa zona. esta justo al lado del embarcadero de autos para los ferris. si bien dice que esta en el sector del acuario (que esta muy bueno) queda lejos y tiene que ir en auto.

An OK hotel, good location but very drab and stained bedding. 3 star at max but I'm sure they're better places to stay.

The hotel is fine if a bit dated. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were fine and those facing the sea have a good view of the port and also the entire waterfront of the town.We chose it because it has free parking and the person whom we were visiting lives less than a km away. We also got a reasonable price. It is handy for the ferries but it […] is a good 20-30 minute walk into town. We encountered no difficulties but I am not sure everyone would feel comfortable walking from town or even from the nearest bus stop, especially at night. If one traveled by taxi the hotel is OK. Located far from the centre and basically right next to the Port it's certanly not the ideal location for a nice getaway in Genova. If you are just staying here for a quick stop-over then it's ok, but any longer then find somewhere else. It's also a real pain to find with a complicated system of 1-way underpasses that led us to an interesting underpass […] where some ladies were very friendly with truck drivers. We were en-route to Monaco so only needed a bed for the night. The hotel staff were very pleasant and professional. The room was good with comfortable beds. You could hear some noise through the closed windows but it was quiet at night. Very close to the emabarcation point for the ferries and on the doorstep of the shopping centre with a supermarket. […] Would happily use this hotel again in the same situation. We stayed at this hotel for two nights prior to a cruise from Genoa. We were impressed enough to rebook this hotel for a further night on return from our cruise and subsequent flight to the UK. We took the airport bus from Cristoforo Columbo airport. I asked the driver of the bus and he kindly dropped us off at the hotel since it was on the route from […] the airport to the main rail station in Genoa. We had a wonderful room with a view over the busy port. As a former seaman it could not have been better. We watched a spectacular thunder and lighting storm at night which was fantastic. The room was clean, spacious and the en suite facility included a bath which, for us, is great. There was TV with a British news channel as well as the usual continental channels. The breakfast was "Continental" but well presented and buffet style. This was just right to set up for a day of sightseeing in Genoa. Checkout was quick and easy and we had plenty time to take the half mile walk to the cruise terminal, again saving on taxi fares which are quite expensive. The staff could smile a bit more than they do and be "warmer" in their approach to clients but they were correct in their actions and information. We will use this hotel again should we ever be in this part of Italy or if we ever go on another cruise from Genoa. The one thing missing is tea/coffee facility in the room which seems a small cost considering the cost of the room. We would recommend this hotel Leer más

The Hotel, itself, was fine but it does not have air conditioning. It was a warm time and the room was hot. We needed to open the window for cool air. Unfortunately, that let in the sounds of the ferry port with the big diesel engines of the ferry boats which stayed on all night. The staff were very helpful about directions, it is close a metro station […] with access to the old city, and the afternoon desk clerk was exceptional. Just too much noise for a restful night. The hotel was adequate, but there were a few things that could probably use some improvement. The wireless internet access was somewhat expensive, at 15 euros for 24 hours, but that in and of itself was not so much an issue. What was an issue was the fact that the quality of the wifi itself was absolutely terrible. At one point I just completely lost […] the signal for about two hours. When it was working, it was painfully slow. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained, and the surrounding neighborhood was close to a shopping center and Metro stop, but it wasn't really anything to look at, just some loading docks really. The side that faces the water is taken up by all of the more expensive suites. The employees were not necessarily outright rude, but did seem indifferent at times. At one point we approached the front desk when an attendant was on the phone. As we were waiting, another group stood behind us. The attendant eventually hung up the phone, helped the other group, and then picked up the phone and made another call, without attending to us. As far as I know, we had not done anything to warrant that treatment. As a side note, it can be a little confusing to find the hotel, though that is really nothing against the hotel. We arrived via car and were turned on by this hotel due to the fact it had secure parking.... if you could find a spot and not park on the street a block away. Some type of event was going on, so the place was crowded with cars. Initially, checking in took no time at all. Staff were welcoming and happy to speak in English as my limited Italian failed me almost instantly. Communal areas in the hotel could possibly do with a little facelift - marks on the corridor walls and carpet between corridors and stairs stuck down with tape detract from what is a perfectly good hotel. The […] room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The en-suite was of a good size and cleaned immaculately on a daily basis. Although the hotel is situated a little away from the city centre, this was not too problematic as there are a couple of delightful and reasonably priced restaurants just across the road. The breakfast buffet was delicious, though the dining room is a little small - on one morning we ate outside due to lack of room. However, this was actually quite nice as we were sheltered from the blistering hot sun. Overall, I would happily return to the hotel, and can think of no better recommendation to offer on the place. hotel vieillissant, chambre pas en rapport avec un 4****, quartier du port un peu limite le soir, par contre parking gratuit ( rare à gênes ) bus à proximité, personnel pro et petit déjeuner satisfaisant, bon rapport qualité-prix pour mon tarif qui doit rester secret

Ideal gelegen zum Übernachten vor einer Fährüberfahrt.

Guter Ausgangspunkt für die Fähren und Besichtigung des Hafens. Gute Anbindung an den ÖV.

Hôtel et chambre confortable et très propre. Parking gratuit. Situation un peu excentrée du centre ville de Gènes mais bus et métro à 5-10min à pied.

Hotel liegt direkt am Hafen, war aber sehr schwer zu finden

Het hotel ligt ideaal ten opzichte van de ferryboten, maar daardoor hoor je de hele nacht havengeluiden. Zeker als je door de warmte het raam open wilt zetten. Parkeren is gratis, maar wanneer het hotel (bijna) vol is, dan is er niet voldoende plek en loop je de kans dat je klem komt te staan.

Ottimo hotel, anche se per un 4 stelle qualche dettaglio potrebbe essere migliore, ad esempio la colazione, che è buona e varia ma prevede bevande calde da macchinetta, quindi di scarsa qualità. Servizio adeguato, con personale disponibile e cortese. Posizione da valutare in base alle esigenze.

Hotel chaleureux mais qui ne vaux pas 4 étoiles, un 3 étoiles tout au mieu. Petit dejeuner mediocre mais bonne presentation et personnel à disposition. Nous recommandons malgres cela cet hotel.

prima ontvangst, goede kamer, pal op de vertrekpier van de veerboten naar corsica, etc. Prima pizzeria op de hoek er tegenover. Goed ontbijt, airco op de kamer

Genova er en hyggelig, litt større havneby på italienske rivieraen. Man må ut av byen for å kunne bade, men ikke noe problem med leilebil eller tog. Vi tok dagsturer østover som fungerte helt fint (tar noe tid, men slipper å leie bil). Hotellet er er godt stykke unna sentrum (vestover). En stopp med metro fra togstasjonen eller buss + 5 min gange. Litt […] tungvint, men et fint hotell som ellers anbefales. Helt grei frokost. Leer más

We were going on cruise in the Mediteranian starting from Genoa and the hotel was very near to the habour. It was near to the bus going to the center of Genoa as well. You couldt even walk along the harbour to the center about 1,5 km. The hotel was modern and the personel was serviceminded. The only drawback was the noise from the haboursite and the […] traffic. Personale molto disponibile. All'arrivo ci assegnarono una camera fumatori molto puzzolente. Appena chiesto di cambiare camera ci sono venuti subito incontro assegnandoci un altra. Ottima colazione a buffet con ampia scelta e di ottima qualità. La posizione dell'albergo è sul porto, l'area e molto rumorosa sia di giorno che di notte però le camere godono […] di un buon isolamento. Hotel grazioso e abbastanza curato. Il personale molto cordiale, ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni utili al ns. soggiorno. Stanze pulite, colazione da 4 stelle ma soprattutto l'utilissimo parcheggio interno, ne fanno motivo di preferenza rispetto ad altri in zona.

Terrible hotel woth unpoliteness, dirty and no service at all

L'hotel est bien situé par rapport au port et à la ville. Les chambres sont propres. Le petit dejeuner est cependant ridicule pour un hotel 4*

Privat parkering og venligt personale. Morgenmad med alt hvad et rejsehjerte begærer, og døgnåbent, hvilket kan have stor betydning når man kører rundt i bjergene...

Obwohl wir nur eine Übernachtung im Hotel hatten,waren wir sehr angetan über die Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit und das Hafenflair dazu. Auch das Frühstücksbufett entsprach den Erwartungen. Bei der nächsten Fährpassage werde ich dort wieder einchecken.

Et godt og velholdt hotell med flott utsikt over et yrende havneliv. Ligger litt langt unna sentrum. La Lanterna (en av Genovas mange severdigheter) ligger en kort spasertur unna.
