The Waldorf B&H is a solid three star hotel, maybe even three and a half stars. It is not in the general tourist area of Rome, but is close to the Metro A line which was very clean, safe, and inexpensive. It was also easy to use with ticket machines that offered a choice of languages. Our hotel room was fairly nice with an extremely nice, clean bathroom. They have an American style buffet breakfast included free with the room. It was a fairly good variety of foods but the only hot foods were scrambled or hard-boiled eggs. It is definitely not a luxury hotel, but comfortable and a good value.

Cons: Room was pretty small, and neighborhood wasn't very nice. Pros: Clean, good service, nice breakfast, close to metro station.

Stayed there eight nights, so got to know the place pretty well. We were happy with the price and the staff were nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is close to subway station for easy transit to the tourist sites and other locations. Each room seems a little different, but our room had a refrigerator and a newly re-finished bathroom. Shower is very small and overweight people would not fit inside. Overall we were pleased---although we are just simple folk.

Everything about this hotel was acceptable for the price paid. Plusses are closeness to Metro and bus stations and good neiborhood. A negative is not many restaurants close by. Overall, very good value for the money.

The layout of this hotel is a little odd. We were allocated a ground floor room that was like a prison cell but they happily changed it on request. It's in a quiet location (unusual for Rome), a few minutes walk from the Metro. The breakfast was great and the room was cleaned every day. A great location and really good value for money.

Not bad, not that good either. Ladies should walk home with a friend in this neighborhood.

My family and I just spent 4 nights in the Waldorf, and found it to be extremely comfortable and clean. The desk staff were always courteous and helpful. It is located in a non-tourist location, but is easy to get to the city via the metro or bus, and the area is nice a quiet at night. The breakfast was great, but if you like hot scrambled eggs, you need to be there as soon as it opens (7:00). Note that there is no lunch or dinner at the hotel, even though the description and even the room information claim there is. There are a few restaurants fairly close (Lo Zio Frankie's was good). The metro station is a 5 minute walk away, as is a UPIM dept. store. Room amenities seem to vary. My mom & daughter got a nice balcony, and a big bathroom with a bathtub! My son & I got a tiny shower, and bars on the window. Same price.

Positive - It was located near a metro, bathrooms were nice, large selection for b-fast Negative - Room was very very small and only made for a small twin bad (though they describe it as a double), bath tube had very poor water pressure and could not get warm...I do not beleive this hotel matched up to the price it charged. There was also a phone right outside of our room that rang all morning long. If you can't find anything else...you could do worse.

not that impressed, the rooms were good, clean but reception was unkept and unwelcoming. The breakfast was uninspiring and staff not that helpfull. On our arrival we were moved to another hotel because of plumming, which was not as good if possible as this one. Probably will not be back.

Not sure if this is one of the "actual" Waldorf hotels, or somehow related, but this establishment is very nice for the price. Located in middle class area, near grocery stores, great local food, bus and subway routes. By subway, the hotel is minutes from Coloseum, Vatican City, etc. In my opinion, this hotel deserves more than 3 stars.

Et rolig område med gangavstand til en bussstasjon som gir lett adkomst til severdigheter og gode handlegater. Kan sove med åpen terassedør; ingen trafikk eller annen støy.

Had a good time in the hotel. Small, but clean rooms. . Breakfast wasn't very good, one kind of bread and a lot of cakes. 200 meters to the Metro station so easy and cheap to get around in Rome. A quiet area with a few restaurants. Very clean rooms, which is very important to me. Friendly staff and good service

Gillade hotellet. Var lite gammalt som allt i Rom. Servicen var bra, personalen trevlig. Enda dåliga skulle jag säga var frukosten. Fanns inte så mycket färskt. En massa bulla och onyttiga saker. Äggröran var inte alls god. Dock nöjde jag mig med bröd och många kokta ägg så jag var relativt nöjd :)

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb,ist aber gut zu Fuß von der Metrolinie A zu erreichen (bis 21.30Uhr). Der Vorteil ist die einigermaßen ruhige Lage,vor allem nachts. Die Inneneinrichtung ist schon etwas verschlissen,aber wenn man dort nur schläft,ist das nicht so wichtig. Der Preis ist für römische Verhältnisse moderat,vor allem muß man beim Frühstück nicht hungern.
