Urban - Madrid 40.41653, -3.69834

This was my third time staying at Hotel Urban - it is a phenomenal hotel with great service in a wonderful location. The hotel staff is more than accommodating and the rooms are very nice. My only small complaint is the 21 Euro breakfast, but there are plenty of other options nearby if you don't want to get the breakfast.

We stayed on a room only basis and this was fine as there are plenty of cafes open first thing. A plus for this hotel was they allowed you to use the roof sun terrace first thing and that was lovely but the pool is small which was reflect in any reviews or Hotel description

The hotel seemed somewhat overconcerned with style, but the staff and facilities were excellent. The room was a bit cramped for two, but otherwise we had a very pleasant stay.

So location is outstanding and the design of the hotel is great but I encountered simply two problems... the staff was slightly pretentious and unaccomodating, like not seeming that eager to assist with any questions I had, and secondly for the price of the hotel, they use cheap beds. The mattress was very firm and not that comfortable...which is an aspect you'd think one of the "top hotels" in town would be more on top of. But the pool and rooftop bar are awesome, downstairs bar is trendy, location is spectacular and the bathroom is really cool in design.

The Urban was a really great hotel in a good location - walking distance of the Prado and Placa de Santa Anna. The room was modern/clean and quiet. There was also an alley way next to the hotel leading to Santa Anna with restaurants and shops, and a cute (the oldest?) sherry bar as well as a good night-life scene. There is a great sushi restaurant right down the street called Ginza. The waitstaff was great and super friendly/helpful, esp a tall thin guy with glasses, didn't get his name. They had two computers for public use in the lobby which was very convenient. The breakfast was a little pricey but was excellent and you got what you paid for.

We found the hotel stylish and comfortable. It was exactly the ambience we were looking for. The room is possibly a little small, but other than that, we were very happy with it. The location is excellent.

The hotel was relatively new.. 4 years old.. therefore everything was in excellent condition!

I certainly will go back to this hotel if the ocassion presents itself. The only problem I found is that there was no apropriate chair for the area that could be used as a desk. The bathroom was fabulous in design and beautiful appearance.

Very happy with the hotel facilities, rooms, and location. Front desk even found a non-smoking room after requested. Only area could improve upon are the restaurant recommendations, so take those with a grain of salt.

Hotel moderne, très belle architecture, très bon cadre pour voyage pro ou entre amis. Piscine petite mais agréable, terrasse sur le toit très sympathique. Room service h24

Posizione ottima per visitare il centro città, hotel dal design strepitoso con fantastica terrazza-bar.Consiglio la struttura a coppie giovani e amanti del design esclusivo.Frigo-bar con prezzi eccessivi e il costo per il servizio colazione in camera spropositato!

Hotel Urban har allt: det ligger mitt i centrum av Madrid (det var nära till allt), det är ett otroligt läckert hotell och servicen var på högsta nivå. Dessutom är det inte alls fel att ligga vid swimmingpoolen med en drink i handen och njuta av utsikten över Madrids hustak... Vi åt lunch och frukost där och maten håller också en mycket hög nivå.
