We had such a wonderful time that we barely left the property. Service was excellent, beach was beautiful, pool was awesome. There were plenty of food options in the hotel. Overall, a great stay.

There's a good reason why Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach has coveted consecutive 5-Diamond ratings...they exceed expectations to even the most capricious guests. The hotel is absolutely impeccable, with friendly staff, knowledgeable Consierge (they really do EVERYTHING FOR YOU!!), and excellent amenities. The rooms are exceptional with down comforters, excellent bed matrices and linens, and the maid service with chocolates, slippers, robes, etc just make you feel like a VIP guest. There's another secret not mentioned on their website nor any others...the beach is ample and the waves are minimal so it's perfect for families with small children or people who are less likely to get into rough waters. So even the beautiful waters of FAGCB are 5-Diamonds. After all these years and all the new hotels going up, there are only a hand-full that compete with FAGCB. It's worth every penny and then some. And don't forget to tip the staff. They are more than deserving!!

I read a lot of reviews for FA and other hotels before I booked, so I wanted to give my input, hoping it may help. Beautiful hotel, in a great location. Rooms were very nice with great views! Restaurants, shops and nightlife very close. Had our 11 year old daughter, so most of the time was spent on the beach, pool and day trips. Beach and pool were very nice! Lots of sand/beach and water not rough. We had a car because we went all over, but can get by on the bus for cheap. Day trips to Playa Del Carmen (shopping/eating) and Isla Mujeres (snorkeling/Dolphin Discovery) were awesome! Go to XCaret!

I would definitely stay here again! The service was great, the hotel and room were exactly as sold, the spa was fantastic and very easy to make reservations, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the onsite travel agent helped us make any arrangements we wanted to make.

Everything was expectacular, hotel, pool, beach, places to eat and shop. Had a great experience. I'll recommend it 100%.

Outstanding hotel. Excellent value for the money. The staff was great, always willing to please. Our lack of being able to speak spanish was never a problem. Everything was beautiful. With the discount that we got through hotels.com, this was a five star hotel for a 4 star price. Get out there.

I highly recommend this hotel. The service was incredible. The food is a bit expensive. I wouldn't recommend an all inclusive option, if you're going to be out and about exploring. Hotel is at a great location, has a great beach with bar/food service. The pool's temperature is just right. Kids club was great. I can't say enough great things about this place.

We loved our stay here. The staff was courteous and helpful, and anytime you thanked them for something, they answered with, "it's a pleasure." We ate at all the restaurants there, and found them to be excellent and a reasonable price. We especially enjoyed the Mexican dancing and mariachi band at La Joya's. The beach there is beautiful. The hotel is in the best location in Cancun, as it's easy to walk to a variety of surrounding restaurants and stores. We would definately return.

Excellent service and courteous staff. Interior and rooms are a bit dated in decor but very clean and fuctional. Food is excellent. Beach is excellent with a north side location which makes it calmer and better for kids. Only complaint is a daily charge for using the fitness center which is small and crowded. very good hotel and highly recommend. Better value than the Ritz Carlton where I have also stayed.

Beware of revovations of some rooms and ask when you check in to be far from those rooms. Unfortunately the renovation is not just in one area.

Every thing was great. The food, the rooms the beach. We really enjoyed our stay. The gym was also very nice.

Pool area and beach loose sun early-mid afternoon.

Went down there on Dec 31st thru Jan 4th. Everything was great except a few things: 1) They didn't have the type of room that we paid for and we couldn't check in until 5:00 that evening. They had to move us the next day and again they didn't have the room ready until 5:00. They did however provide us with a a free breakfast for the inconvience, but not to make up for it. 2) No Jacuzzi...you'd like that this is a must at a five start resort. The SPA was great and the staff is very nice and helpful.

The curtious staff at Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach were there to welcome, help, guide and serve us with smiles. This hotel was by far the most hospitible hotel we've ever stayed in. The spa was supreme, the pool and beach area were gorgeous, and I'm ready to go back!!

The resort exceeded our expectations!

The Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach was very very nice, with clean rooms, helpful concierge, and very close to shopping areas and many restaurants. The swimming pool was awesome and the beach was wonderful also. I think the only complaint I really have is that it was almost "too ritzy" for us. Just very very fancy.... the minibar had $7 bottles of water that you could buy across the street for $1.50, but having outside food and drink are against hotel policy :) So next time I will probably pick another hotel that is more moderate, just because I'm a more casual person. However the hotel was very very nice and clean!!

The hotel, even though a bit older than some hotels in Cancun, is quite impressive. It's huge, with over 600 rooms, and lovely. The hotel is nearly spotless and everywhere you look, someone is cleaning something. The staff is very accommodating, helpful, and generally, speaks English fluently. We did have a couple of negative experiences, as you might expect. One morning at breakfast, the service was completely awful. Once our food was delivered, we never saw our waiter again and had to go up front to the hostess to prepare our bill. The restaurant manager later called to apologize and did not charge us for the meal. Slip-ups can happen in any hotel or restaurant, but the way they are handled can change your feeling about it. I was satisfied with they how handled the poor service in that instance. One thing that I was not so pleased with happened by the pool. There are two pool side restaurant/bars. My daughter and I had ordered lunch and mine came with a side order of jalapenas. in the dish, amongst the peppers, was a coin. A peso. I felt as though the dish had been served to someone else, and then to me. That is never okay to take food, no matter if it looks untouched, from one table to the next. And for just that reason. You never know if someone could have contaminated it. They replaced the dish of peppers, but I still didn't have a good feeling about it. We stayed for a week and, all in all, it was a really nice experience. Wonderful,polite, efficient staff. Very nice, spacious room. Views to die for. A real winner.

Outstanding service. Beautiful hotel and great location to shops and restaurants. only minus-restaurants on premises are way expensive, but you can walk to the strip wich is great.

We spent our wedding anniversary at this hotel and we loved it. This is a 5 star hotel and it showed. We loved our suite and the view of the ocean. The staff here is very friendly. We felt that they did a wonderful job of taking care of our needs. We would definately stay here again and would highly recommmend this hotel to others.

Was a great value in the heart of the 'entertainment' district - just a few minutes walk to local bars and restaurants. Highly suggest the master ocean suites, phenomenol views with a nice large deck and lovely bathroom with jacuzzi tub. I'd also recommend their outdoor seafood restaurant and very elegant dining option, Il Basilica. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.

Hotel is wonderful, clean, well kept, pool and beach are beautiful, rooms are very roomy and comfortable (loved the step down sitting/living area that leads to the balcony). The above is what won us over as we had a bad experience with the front desk staff and our reservations when we arrived. We were a little early (1 pm and they have a 3 pm checkin). We took the chance though that our room would be ready. They did not have our reservation correct and after they found a room it was not ready but would be in 20 mins. After 4 hours, 3 trips to the front desk, having to change our room because they put us in the wrong room, we were already disgusted. However, the hotel overall is definitely 4 stars (not 5 since the front desk is an important part of their rating) and the overall excellence won us over after our initial bad experience.

We received a warm welcome even when checking in very early, about 11:00 am, and were able to access our room right away, making us feel quite accomodated. We chose the Grand Club level and it was worthwhile with many benefits. The concierge was always available with tips and assistance as needed. Four snack times were included, a mini-breakfast, mini-lunch, teatime, and cocktail with elegant treats hour. These helped fill in the gaps for us as we planned elaborate dinners every day. The hotel French restaurant was first class and the Mexican restaurant was an excellent experience with a phenomenal dinner show. We were walking distance to shopping and spent time there since there were some cloudy days. We also used the indoor tennis courts twice as the sun was a fickle friend that week. We got hot playing tennis and took swims in the heavenly pool late in the day to cool off. When we did get in the ocean we enjoyed the turquoise water and the beach. With Grand Club there is always someone to provide you special seating at the pool or beach with a deluxe towel arrangement. One day they brought us cashews and bottled water just because we were there. I felt everyone deserved their tips, as they made us feel so important. I tried to have a couple dollars available at all times. The room and view of the ocean was beautiful, and perfectly maintained. There's nothing I can complain about here because our time spent was all bliss. If anything had been amiss, I'm sure someone would have jumped to a quick fix upon the asking. We would return here for sure, and I rarely visit the same place twice.

Thought it inappropriate for hotel to charge for bottled water - must pay for water in room in order to even brush teeth, since tap water is not potable. Water should have been furnished.

5 stars. Great hotel in the heart of Cancun's restaurant, shopping, and night life. Walking distance to everything. Great beach, huge pool, very nice restaurants. You won't go wrong.

We had a great time at the Fiesta Americana. The junior suites were perfect and the pool and beach were great. Though the beach has seen some erosion they have controlled it and built the beach back up where it is very very nice. The hotel staff were very helpful and everyone was friendly. The restaurant food was a bit pricey and not geared for kids but otherwise very good. Room service was very good according to our 18 year old. The location is perfect as you can walk to many restaurants and two Starbucks are nearby. The hotel requires long pants in the bar at night which is a goofy rule and because of it nobody was ever in the bar. We would definitely go back though as overall it was great.

Excellent Service, Beautiful Hotel and Grounds, Pool and Beach Areas were also Beautiful and offered plenty of space, Great Location per within walking distance to many shops. The only negatives in my opinion were minor things such as to keep in mind expense of food at hotel, balconies could use more privacy, and would like to see all of the pools connect so that you could move from one pool to the other without getting out on hot, slippery terrace.

This hotel was excellent all around, great service, pool, and beach. Within walking dustance to bar area

Everything about this hotel was great. The staff is extremely couteous and focused on taking care of the guests. The rooms are spacious with amazing views. The food is great. Pool is great with swim-up bars where you can eat/drink. Beach has Scuba available for experienced divers and beginners alike. Jetskis available. $10 Cab ride from all evening activities on Cancun Island. I will stay at this hotel again when I return next year. Beachside evening couples massage is an absolute must for those on romantic getaways.
