me gusto mucho lastima q no tenia dinero para quedarme dos dias mas , gracia por todo ,

nesecita colchones nuevos la alfombra y los sillones estaban muy sucios.

Las tarjetas magneticas no funcionaban, por llegar a las 11pm nos dejaron sin llave hasta el otro dia. Al otro dia nos perdimos 1 hora hasta que logramos tener una tarjeta, y ya era hora de dejar el hotel. Si uno dice que no anda , no anda , no hay que ir y venir y terminar por cambiar las claves y tod lo que se tiene que hacer desde un principio. Hotel has older htg.& air system we checked into room turned on a/c but the room never cooled after first night told front desk a/c not working and was told the heat was still on unable to switch over .Requested room with a/c and was moved to other side of motel with heat/air unit in room.The view was great,room was clean,older motel but felt like it […] was a good value.Spent most the time outdoors and was right on the beach,large outdoor pool area.They we not full when we were there so was able to move rooms.Would stay there again but would request a room with its own htg. & air system for comfort.Had a great vacation over all. It was fantastic!! The indoor pool was heated which was a bonus! All the staff was wonderful! We will definitely be back!

We checked in Hawaiian Inn on Dec. 29th evening after a long drive , but no one was at the front desk , we waited about ten minutes started looking for the person found she is somewhere watching a party .When we got a room by the noisy air condition fan , we thought they must be busy that no other room was available .There was no cool air but heat . […] We took a while figure out by flip a light switch to stop the heat . The refrigerator was nasty, there was black mold all around the top door.There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom ,after my two kids took a shower was all steamy .The second morning we walked down the lobby, there was a huge roach laying on the middle of the floor.Also they were remodeling the room on the top floor, the noise of cutting metal was so loud and lasted most the day time.Talked about ocean view , the first thing we saw when we opened the glass door was black marker written 'do not remove this chair' on the back of two chairs on the porch and a empty outdoor swimming pool.The only joy we had was we found some cute kids sandals in the gift shop, and person who worked there was very nice .We left there around midnight, because we don't want spend another night and we will never go back there ever again.We don't understand what that two stars come from, we stayed three stars hotel last year it was much much better than this, this experience has taught us a lesson that don't try to save the money on the two stars because it's so not worth it. We had a good time in this hotel. Kitchen with all tableware, fridge, and microwave helped us a lot since we brought our baby. Also the view from the balcony was wonderful. We had no idea until checking out that the units could be owned. We only found out because to our dismay even though it was New Years Eve the room next to us blasted and I am saying blared the music well into 8am the following morning. After calling the front desk they went to the room and the room music was brought down "some". With no sleep and disgusted […] by the shower head and room we left and asked in the front desk about the noise. Well I asked what about if we never come here again how will they keep up the place? Will the owners of that particular room pay for all repairs and maintenace and his job? Are there no rules for them to abide by? And why am I being treated as lower class because I chose to stay a night and not a lifetime! The pool was not filled, the jacuzzi was not filled. Nothing on the website to let us know before hand. Some rooms are nice whle others are very poor condition. We tried to change rooms but none were available we were told. We stayed here many years ago, but decided to visit again and we were very satisfied. Everything was still as good as it was then. The staff very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and the rate was fantastic. Hope to come again.

ROOMS NEED TO BE UPDATED. FRIG WAS RUSTY, BATH TUB DIRTY, TOWELS HARDER THAN A ROCK . BEDROOM HAS A WINDOW THAT IS ON THE HALLWAY(NOT SAFE). HOUSEKEEPERS NEED NI- SERVICE ON CLEANING ROOM. ONLY THING POSITIVE GOOD VIEW OF THE BEACH.

Hawaiian Inn seems to be an old hotel and, therefore, needs to be updated. However, you cannot beat the location or prices! I love the idea of it being right on the beach! Overall, I think it is a great hotel!

Everyone in the Hotel was nice and helpful, and friendly. We had a bachelorette party of 9 and everything was great. I would like to thank them, including getting us several more towels at 2 am. I will tell all me friends to stay with you guys. Thanks again. Pam

The room was old and a little dirty. The towels were stained. The description mentions the luau dinner and show and some other features that are not "part" of the hotel. The view is magnificent however the bar was closed before we got back from dinner on a Saturday night. We stayed in room 207, Beachfront, nice, clean and good service. Great view, loved the tiki bar at the pool. Brian at the service desk is awesome, and helped with any questions we had. Will definitely stay there again.

We gave a 20 tip for cleaning our room and the toilets wernt even cleaned. We couldnt adjust the air. Was warm mist of the time . we nevet had handtowels or wash clothes. We had to go to front desk and grt them.

When deciding to stay at the Hawaiian Inn some of the reviews almost scarred me away. Therefore I want to be sure to leave a positive comment for the Hawaiian Inn. The room for the most part was clean and smelled clean, but there were a few aspects - the bathroom shower curtain and floor did not seem the cleanest. On the outside it was disturbing to see that 2-4 rooms on each floor had the sliding glass doors boarded up. The pool area was nice and it was great to be on the beach. The exterior and ammenities of the hotel are excellent. The rooms could use a little updating. A hotel which office a small stove, should also include a microwave oven. It is unlikely that I would cook a meal in the room, but would like to warm up leftover take out. The view was great, and the price point was very good. This hotel is not bad for a Daytona Beach hotel. It can use some upgrades, but overall not bad. We weren't looking for a room to live in just to sleep in. The bathroom was very clean and the pool area was clean and maintained. Overall not bad!

Upon check in we were given a room that was nasty- looked like Getto land- table had melted wax or crayons ALL over it- mini stove looked gross. I went to service desk & told him it was unacceptable. He gave me 4 room keys to look at other units. The rooms are cruddy feeling. Never felt clean , u best wear shoes in your room carpet is filthy. We had […] a fam of 4 only got 1-2 towels most nights- had to call for more. The staff is nice and friendly. The pool is nice- didn't like that they allow smoking at both outdoor and indoor pool- ppl where in the water in both pools holding cigarettes. Told a worker but nothing done. we had trouble getting towels and other ammenities and booked a room with 2 king beds and recieved a room with 2 full beds that had my feet hanging off the edge all week but the room was kept clean the pool was clean and well maintained and the acess to the ocean was great and the luau was a great show

There are lots of negative reviews for this hotel, but it is not at all as bad as they all make it sound. They are in the process of doing some updates, but for the amount of money that we spent for the week, it was well worth it. The pool area is very large and very nice. The room was OK, still needs a few updates done to it, but nothing that ruined […] our stay, we were there for the beach, not for the comforts of our room. No restaurant to eat at. anything we needed we would have to pay. the pool towels were only at the front desk. Maintianace work all over the place. First day, they were power washing the floors, they started at 8:30 or so. next day, they were fixing rooms with a bunch of handy man walking ground, specially around the pool area. The room service never […] came on the second day. The door did not have a secure lock. The pool bar was not part of the hotel so you had to carry money or credit card to get a drink. This was not a place I will return to. Just to get a coffee in the morning you have to drive off to a store. No thanks. Only one cart in the entire hotel to move belonging. The towels are very very thin and the carpet is very dingy. The view is spectacular.

Hotel at time of stay was still under some construction. The room was clean but, we requested some towels and took several hrs before we got them. window sills were very dirty and mold around them. microwave didn't work. elevators outdated and in need of work. ceilings leak in lobby. need more luggage carts. had to wait 45mins for one. could use a restaurant […] and continental bkfst for what they get for a room. other hotels in area are more accomdating for the price. The room smelled bad. There were big stains all over the floor. The beds were very uncomfortalbe. You could sit on the end of the bed and the front of the bed would tilt up off the frame (I'm not a big person) The shower was terrible hardly any water came out of the shower head. We were amaze when we arrived at the hotel, the view, the ocean, the accomodation! The director of the Hotel, was truly accomodating with our particular needs. When the hotel will be totaly renovated it will be a place to go back to.

PICTURES ON THE INTERNET DO NOT DEPICT THE ACTUAL ROOMS. THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY CONSTRUCTION WAS LOUD AND EARLY.THE ROOMS WERE SMALL AND THE SLIDING GLASS DOORS WERE VERY HARD TO OPEN.

My husband & I booked this hotel to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary, realizing that it was not 5 star accomodations, but offered an oceanfront room in a quieter area of Daytona Beach. Although our room was clean & nicely updated, we were completely unaware that the hotel would be packed with "Spring Breakers" and was in fact the ONLY hotel within […] a several mile radius that was overrun with them & hosted a DJ every day beginning at 1pm who played loud party music. Since our room overlooked the pool, we couldn't even enjoy the sound of the ocean. Although the hotel staff did their best to keep the students in check, we couldn't walk through the pool area without stepping over beer cans & bikinis and the hallway noise late at night was definitely intrusive. To make matters worse, over 1/2 the rooms were under construction (thankfully that meant 1/2 the spring breakers). However, we were constantly being re-routed around through construction tunnels, water leaks & over plywood walkways. One area of the pool deck was completely closed due to the construction and (it gets worse), the public pool restrooms had NO water during the majority of the daytime hours and for the most part, had no toilet paper. (Imagine the bathrooms with no water & all of those college kids.) We were also disappointed to learn that the luau so widely advertised at this hotel was only offered on Saturday nights & we checked in on Sunday. I do want to share that the staff were very friendly and easy to deal with. I just wish we had been warned in advance about the population of spring breakers expected so we couldn have avoided staying at this hotel at this particular time and also about the major construction. This was my 1st experience with Hotels and I will be reluctant to book with them again. Leer más

The hotel was awful. It is currently under renovations which is a good thing because the inside of the hotel looks extremely outdated. The whole hotel stinks as you walk in, the carpet in the hallways and rooms are disgusting, neither I nor my boyfriend would take our shoes off ( it was that bad). We had a leaky faucet in our kitchen that prevented […] us from getting a good nights sleep, along with the fear of bugs, the sawing noises from the renovations, and the stains on the clean sheets. There were also random pieces of sheet rock on top of the entertainment center..why.. I have no clue. We tried to find the indoor pool since it was a bit on the cold side and never could find it using the arrowed signs and the renovations preventing us from accessing certain parts of the hotel. About 60% of the room are being renovated. Construction workers and machinery all over the place. Spilled paint, dirty rags. Definitely not what was pictured on the web site. Actual room was nice, but climate of the hotel was trashy.

The employees were great. Valarie at the front deck was fantastic. The hotel is under renovations and the workers start at 8:00 am. So much for sleeping in on vacation. You could not relax by the pool because all you could hear is machines and drills going constantly.

I was looking for the lease expensive hotel I could find that was reasonable. This hotel met those needs. They claim the beds are queen size but they are much closer to double size. In addition the beds were not very comfortable. The renovated room was decent and you can't find an ocean front room for a better price. I would stay again if I was on a […] budget. Leer más

We arrived to find that the the hotel key cards did not work. We didnt get a key to our room the whole time we were there. Every time we left we would have to wait for an employee to eventually come up to the fifth floor and let us in. I called prior to booking to see if the renevations were complete and was told that they were only finishing painting. […] This was not true the whole front side of this hotel is torn off all the way down to removing the floors and repouring concrete. The heated pool is outside which isnt completely enclosed and you would have to walk wet from outside back to your room so we never used the dirty heated pool. I would definetly book elsewhere. I am not one of those people that ever wrights reviews and complains but you will be disappointed with this hotel atleast for another couple of years until they complete renevating it then it will probably be worth the money but for now steer clear for now. Was pretty much got what we expected. We made a last minute reservation and had no problems. For the rate we paid we did not expect elegance nor did we want a dump. What we got was a moderately priced hotel with no frills.

We did not know that the main part of the motel was under construction. They have done a great joy of keeping up the service to the guest while doing major work to most of the balconies. It was not a real problem and this is the time of year to do that kind up-grades. We will be back.

Hotel was under construction, visually hotel was not much to look at, but we really enjoyed that it wasn't crowded or busy. It was a great relaxing family weekend getaway.
