El Cancún Hotel Zone descansa en una hendidura de tierra rodeada por un lago y las aguas turquesa del Mar Caribe. Las playas de arena blanca rebosan de bañistas en busca de sol. Al caer la noche, la acción se concentra en restaurantes, clubes y bares que bordean el Boulevard Kukulcán, principal arteria de la zona. Esta carretera pasa junto a las ruinas de El Rey, supuestamente la tumba de un monarca.

We had a wonderful time at the Golden Parnassus! The service was great, beds and pillows were very comfortable. We had an ocean view, jacuzzi room ....very nice! Food was okay, but great cocktails and beautiful beach! Good value.

Excellent stay - We had so much fun at this hotel before we ever even checked in! Great food. Definetely something always going on - A great place to relax but yet have a good time!
"Hotel close to a lot of Activities"
Generally good all around Hotel. There were (4) resturants but The Steak House was closed every other day. This was not mentioned in the flyer? The Japenese Resturant did not have really good foods.There was only one resturant open for breakfast. The bacon was always too well done. The Steak House had really good Steaks. The Staff was wonderfull. They […] put me above the Night Club the first day and could not go to sleep until 2:00AM. They did move me and it was great. Leer más
"Golden Parnassus"
I stayed at the Golden Parnassus at the end of Oct 2011. Unfortunately my arrival was delayed a couple of days as flights had been cancelled due to a typhoon in that area and flights were hard to get when operating. Luckily there was minimal damage in Cancun and the hotel. The Bad: I was travelling with friends, and we had similar experiences with […] the registration personnel at the hotel being quite uncooperative and nonchalant about resolving any issues that were raised. Upon checking in, we discovered both rooms had larges puddles of water on the tiled floors of about one third of the bedroom area, which in addition to being inconvenient in limiting space to place things, was quite dangerous as very slippery. The reception was notified at bout 2 p.m., and nothing done until the next day room service (and it wasn't raining that afternoon). Also the rooms has a very mouldy smell, which you decreased by opening all the doors and propping them open, and eventually just got used to. The shower screens leaked so that after a shower, the bathroom floor also ended up puddled. Additional water problems were in the hotel main sections and restaurants where puddles were formed from leaking ceilings, however usually these were marked by "danger" signs, or a worker with a towel on the end of a broom was walking around wiping up the water. Reception staff virtually called us liars when they were informed 2 bottles of purified water that was supposed to provided to your room each day hadn't been provided. This was almost every day, and some days rectified, other days wasn't. Good Food was ok, provision of drinks quite good, and other staff (except for reception) were quite helpful and friendly. Conclusion Mainly due to reception staff, water issues and the smell, I would consider other places. Friends stated "they would never return". Leer más
