El Hotel está muy bien situado, cerca de todo lo que hay que ver, el trato es excelente y el buffet del desayuno de calidad.

I booked this hotel mainly for gym facility. I expected It would be great since it looked like a promising current modern hotel. The steam room Was nice. And the turkish bath just Okay. The gym.... wasthe size of a bathroom with ONE treadmill, ONE and ONE bike. I also booked because it said it included free movies, Internet and a welcome Gift. WRONG. […] Internet only available in lobby , movies are paid 14eur. And NO "welcome gift". Front desk was indifferent and cold. Not what I expected from a hotel with these prices. Take your money and stay at Eden or majestic. Trust me. Desk indifferent and cold. The location was so so, really for this price you Should stay at Eden or majestic. Leer más

Our stay was very pleasant. The staff are very helpful and the hotel is well maintained and in an excellent location. While not really affecting my ratings it would be good to: 1. have a toaster at breakfast 2. fix the internet speeds - very slow internet access 3. internet is expensive (like all hotels really) and was poor value. OK, charge higher […] amounts for short periods of access, but I would prefer an option to have access for fixed sum for length of stay. Could limit data volumes if needed ... The max. period could sign-up for was 24 hrs. Other hotels I stay at provide 3, 5 and 7 day options. Leer más

This hotel was worth every penny and then some! My daughter and I were traveling around Italy on her college spring break, ending with five days in Rome. This hotel provided all of the support and assistance we needed from tours, to cut-the-line tickets. The food and service were marvelous, but perhaps the most luscious feature was the incredible spa […] and its amenities! After full days of amazing sights and tons of walking, we would return to our "haven" and go directly to the steam...delightful...I will stay here when I return with my husband. The location is sublime. The staff and service is over-the-top. I read about it in Conde Nast Traveler, which is to say the source was solid. Excellent. I was hedging about spending the extra money, but it turned out to be the most important spending I did, as it provided an amazing base of tranquility and comfort from which to go forth. Even though we arrived an hour and 20 minutes early for check-in, our room was not ready and we asked if their bar was open. The receptionist said yes, so we went over to the bar and just sat there. There was no sign of a waiter and we were never served. We checked back in an hour for our room to be ready (as the receptionist told us to do) and the […] room was still not ready. I was pretty annoyed because they knew that we were just sitting in the lobby at this point (we had given up at the bar) and you would think that they would tell the maid to specifically clean our room so that we could check in. I'm also sure they could have given us a different room because i find it really hard to believe that the hotel was filled to capacity. When we got to our room, it was filthy. The room was very small on the first floor and very dirty. The floor looked like it had never been properly cleaned and was very worn out. The room was smaller than a room in NYC at the same price point. The trash was not removed from the other people who had stayed there before us and the glasses were still wet, although I think they were clean. The bathroom smelled like wet dog (a testament to the plumbing and the room being never properly cleaned). There were only 2 channels on the TV that were English speaking.....and that didn't include the commercials. Oh and when we tried to open our window to get some fresh air and to warm up the room because someone had left the air conditioner on and it was a freezer in there.....we couldn't get the window closed again. We had to call maintenance to get them to come fix the window. The best part about this hotel was that when my husband went down at 10pm one night to ask for some ice they said they would bring it up.........and then when they did bring it about 20 minutes later they had a bill for us for 3 euro. Would highly recommend this hotel. Great price, great staff, and good location.

Very nice hotel in a compact area near the River, the Pantheon, and the Vatican. Easy walk to all major sites. Room was large, very clean. Bed was brand new, but very firm.

Concierge seemed bothered everytime we asked them a question.

A very good hotel on a super-quiet street. Close proximity to Vatican and Pantheon is a definite plus - most other sites are probably not walking distance from the hotel (especially not in the heat of July when I stayed there).

When we return to Rome, we will absolutely stay at this hotel. Very good dinner restauarant. Great location relation to all the sites. Rooms are very modern and very nice.

This hotel is in a great location and the roof top bar has a beautiful view of St. Peters and the Castel S. Angelo on one side and the domes of several other churches are visible from the other side. The location is central to Vatican City, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and the Monument to Vittorio Emmanuel which is very close, about 2 US city blocks […] to the Coliseum, and the Palantine Hill. There are wonderful restaurants nearby. We particularly liked Al Bric. The Piazza Campo de Fiori is very close as is Piazza Navona. The only reason I dinged the hotel was that there had been a small leak in the ceiling of our bathroom which, while no longer leaking, was still shedding plaster into the bidet. The concierge was very helpful at check-in. He immediately asked us if we wanted him to book us tickets for the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel as well as the Coliseum. I highly recommend taking him up on at least the Vatican Museum. The lines there are long and taxing and tour allows you to by pass that, and you can still go at your own speed once you get pass the ticket purchase and entrance. The staff were very helpful and polite. The air conditioning worked well, and there is internet connectivity for a price. The breakfast was good as was the coffee. Leer más

Hotellet har en fantasisk god beliggenhed - på Via Giulia - tæt på Vatikanet og i gå-afstand til rigtigt mange seværdigheder og spændende steder i den gamle bydel. Generelt var hotellet pænt og rent, men: * Fitnesscentret var et ekstremt lille og indelukket rum, hvor der udelukkende var plads til et løbebånd og en motionscykel * Spa´et var meget sparsom […] udstyret og generelt også småt * Værelset var utroligt lille .. ingen plads til bevægelser * Morgenmaden (american) var okay, men ikke særlig omfattende og nogle ting ret kedelig (scrambled eggs var meget kedelige) * Hotellet bar tydeligt præg af, at man skulle betale ekstra for alle services, herunder skal det nævnes, at man ikke kunne låne et strygejern/-bræt - man skulle købe ydelsen (det var IKKE billigt) * Receptionisterne anbetalede en restaurant, der var MEGET dyr og på ingen måde levede op til prisen og forventningerne. We can highly recommend this hotel, as it is very, very conveniently located in the Centro Storico, near Plaza Navona, Trastavere, Vatican and 10 minute taxi drives to Trevi, Spagna, Forum Romanum and what have you. Service was really excellent, rooms are very nice, albeit on the small side (then again, this is the very hart of Rome and if you have […] been in Tokio, you would consider this a hall). There is a very nice roof top terrace with one major flaw: prices up there are really outrageous. Go down the street in the Via Giulia and you will have an excellent cappuccino at Cafe Peru for only 1 euro (can you believe it?). The Spa in the basement (pool, turkish bath and sauna) is a nice extra. So yes, we do recommend the St George hotel in Rome. Leer más

The hotel is situated in a quiet street, a short walking distance away from sites, museums and restaurants. The rooms are not big, but very nice. I can recommend a visit to the Spa, and to the roof top bar.

Hôtel très bien situé, personnel extrêmement serviable et donnant des adresses très utiles de restaurants et d'endroits à visiter. Il conviendrait toutefois de dire au personnel de nettoyage qu'il n'est pas utile de faire autant de bruit tôt le matin.

Hotellet ligger hyggelig til i en rolig gate. Fint pusset opp, og med profesjonelt personale. Men de har ikke fått det helt til;- takterrassen var stengt, restauranten var uten besøk, spa avdelingen forlatt og sengene altfor harde (for nesten alles smak er vi sikre på).

Jeg er godt kjent i Roma, og når jeg nå skulle dit med en "Roma-fersking" hadde jeg lyst til å finne et hotell i akkurat dette området fordi det er både sentralt, trivelig og rolig. Bussen stopper ikke langt unna, men det er uansett gangavstand til det aller, aller meste av både severdigheter, restauranter, vinbarer, butikker også videre. Vi fikk et […] komfortabelt, rent og trivelig rom med vindu mot en bakgate. Får man et rom ut mot elven kan trafikken fra veien under kanskje virke forstyrrende, men vinduene er nokså lydtette, så jeg tror ikke det skal være noe stort problem. Servicen var upåklagelig, og frokosten var delikat og god. Rett og slett et aldeles utmerket hotell, på alle mulige måter! Reiser jeg på samme budsjett når jeg skal til Roma neste gang, er jeg ikke i tvil om hvor jeg skal bo. :- ) Leer más

I've stayed in a lot of hotells both on work and leisure trips and since I wanted to make the most of the weekend in Rome I did my bit of research. So, having read a lot of comments on different hotels, I was actually expecting to be disappointed when I arrived - not the best feeling to have I must say... I settled for St George since most negative […] comments seemed to be about staff at the reception... which, it turned out, wasn't my experience at all. It might be that those who experience a "poor" service at the front desk are a bit unfriendly in their own approach... At any rate, I was really happy with the room and hotel, actually the first time in a hotel around the Mideterranean where the aircon wasn't directed straight down at you when you're sleeping. A really good place to stay, literally 10 min walking from most sights, bars, restaurants and shopping. Will definitely stay there again when I go back! Next time however, I will remember to bring my swimming trunks for the spa! Leer más

Badeværelset virkede en anelse slidt og trængte til en renovation. Tagterassen var fantastisk!!! Værelset var også godt. Serveringen til morgenmaden var ikke i top. Der var 4 tjenere til at servicere 8 borde, og der skete ingenting. Vi måtte selv gå til dem for at få kaffe. De tog heller ikke tomme tallerkener ud. Buffetten var til gengæld rigtig lækker. Hotel très agréable calme confortable très propre, personnel charmant disponible prestations de grandes qualités , les petits déjeuners en terrerasse extérieure sont très agréables. Hôtel à conseiller pour toute personne qui se rend à Rome

tout est nickel, confort et propreté de la chambre, personnel sérieux, situation de l'hotel exceptionnelle et véritablement au coeur de rome, une petite note tout de même sur le tarif des petits déjeuners (25 à 30€ par pers) et des consommations sur la terrasse de l'hotel que l'on peut qualifier de prohibitifs malgré la vue.

Hotellet er klart i den bedre ende, med vægt på indretning, stil og central placering. Generelt var alle høflige og servicen på et højt niveau. Der tales både fransk og engelsk på hotellet (og italiensk naturligvis), hvilket er et klart plus. Maden var frisk og veltilberedt - uanset om der var tale om den varierede morgenmads buffet eller den 5 retters […] til aften. Placeringen er central med Vertikanet mindre end 500 meter væk og vejen til colosseum føles kort da der er en meget stor varietet af seværdigheder langs hele strækningen. Spaa området er desværre ikke så stort som man kunne forvente, dog er det ganske nydelig og utroligt brugbart når man har gået rom's gader tynde. Leer más
