Superb hotel, great location, good food, great facilities, friendly staff, cant wait to go back

We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel and left a day early because of it. The front desk staff were at best dismissive and at worst rude. They were not friendly, they were not helpful, and they treated us like bothersome people rather than paying clients. We did not feel like valued customers. We have several specific complaints about our stay, but […] will include just a couple here as examples: We could hear everything in the room above us, including a partying guest who would come back at 2 a.m. and stomp around and bang furniture. We were also treated to sounds of him/her getting sick for ages in the morning, and when we complained to the front desk, they just shrugged their shoulders like it didn't matter to them in the slightest. The evening meal we had in the hotel restaurant was truly horrible. As we were eating our starters, the waiter started towards us with our main courses. He saw that we were still eating our starters and took the new dishes back to the kitchen. Half an hour later he brought the exact same dishes back to us. My baked cannelloni was petrified beyond recognition from the time under the heat lamp. We complained and they took it back, only to return 20 minutes later with undercooked cannelloni with about 3 cups of cold cream sauce poured on top. Needless to say, we didn't eat there again. We will never stay at this hotel again. In fact, it was such a bad experience, we never want to stay at a Best Western again. Viareggio is 15-20 minutes from Lucca by car. Beach access is great. Nice people and good service. Watch out for speed traps along the road in front of the hotel.

I loved the location , the staff was very helpful did not even try to make me pay for the parking told me I could park on the street.Nice big rooms also good for families , good location , many restaurants near by with affordable prices .A day trip to Venice is possible ..

This hotel is so close to everything. We chose to stay here for the kids. We wanted to be close to the Sea. We enjoyed Viareggio and the layed back atmosphere. It is so pretty and the hotel is quite lovely. We were close to Pisa. The bus picked us up at the hotel and we were there in about 40minutes. It also got us to the airport in about 1 hour. All […] for the cost of 4 euro and it was well worth it. We all too the train to Luca which is 15 minutes by train from Viareggio and that was fantastic and cost 2.60 euro. The hotel room is big and the sea view room was beautiful and we opened the windows at night and sleep with the windows opened. There is a grocery store about 10 minutes away and cheap pizza places almost everywhere. Gelato(ice cream) places are everywhere and cheap. The beach is private and charges if you want a chair and parisol so we just took our towels and laid near the sea for free. The hotel is one of the nicer places on the strip so you can't go wrong! Location good, but if you want the bus or train be prepared to walk. The renovations have been tastefully done, keeping the best of the original features. Staff welcoming, especially in the Bar! Good breakfast with helpful staff in a separate breakfast room. We didnt try the restaurant as the set menu was a bit pricy at 35 euros and it did not change […] throughout our stay. Ett mycket fint hotell med vänligt bemötande från personalen, och ett utmärkt läge alldeles nära stranden. Toppen.

Die Lage ist, abgesehen von der vielbefahrenen Straße ideal an einem riesigen, breiten Strand mit sehr feinem Sand. Entlang des Meeres hat man eine sehr schöne Promenade. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten sind viele gegeben. Das Hotel ist sauber und sehr großzügig gestaltet. An der Rezeption sind wir sehr gut auf deutsch durchgekommen. Das Frühstückbuffet war reichhaltig. […] Wer auf dem Hotelgelände Parken will muss z.Zt. 15 Euro pro Nacht bezahlen. Das ist nach unserer Meinung etwas überteutert. Veramente piacevole, ambiente rilassante, camere spaziose con letti comodi, colazione sublime.

När vi bokade hotellet via Hotels.com så fick vi ett pris som väl överensstämmde med hotellets standard. När vi sedan ville förlänga vår vistelse med ytterligare en dag så ville de höja priset med ytterligare 50% vilket drar ner betyget. Att de dessutom debiterade 7,50 euro för en 33 cl vattenflaska på rummet var mer än acceptabelt. Detta är synd eftersom […] hotellet i sig var väldigt trevlig, hade ett fantastiskt bra läge och mycket charm i byggnaden. Om man inte vill trängas nere på stranden så har hotellet en väldigt fin egen poll i trädgården med bar och i trädgården serveras också middag på kvällen. Rummet som vi hade, med utsikt över havet, var stort och med ett charmerande badrum. Air condition slutade fungera på eftermiddagen men reperatörer kom och åtgärdade det innan vi hunnit ringa och påpeka felet. Det finns endast två hissar vilket kändes för lite, framför allt då de dessutom inte var kopplade till varandra vilket innebar att hissarna stannade på varje våning utan att någon var där (de hade redan fått en hiss). Läget är mycket bra med lummiga och lugna kvarter runt hotellet och badstranden rakt över gatan. Hotellet uppfyllde väl våra krav den första natten men var inte värt en så stor höjning av priset. la camera non è da 4 stelle.. piccola e con arredamento molto vecchio che non rispecchia il resto dell'hotel e il prezzo pagato. in compenso la colazione è molto buona e il personale gentile.

Der geschmackvoll restaurierte Hotelbau bietet den versprochenen 4-Sterne Komfort. Das Personal war sehr entgegenkommend. Das Hotel liegt gegenüber der Strandpromenade. Dadurch sind Strand, Geschäfte und alle Freizeitmöglichkeiten des Ortes schnell zu erreichen. Die Zimmer zur Strassenseite sind durch das hohe Verkehrsaufkommen recht laut.

Atmosfera ed ambiente unici, bellissima giornata, carnevale entusiasmante! siamo stati benissimo. l'hotel è tenuto benissimo nonostante l'età! le camere datate offrono un buon comfort...non manca niente. i letti comodi e la pulizia buona.
