This hotel is wonderful. We stay there everytime we go to San Francisco. I highly recommend it to anyone.

We stayed at the Super 8 for one night en route to another location. We chose another hotel near SFO airport for our return stay, and I'm glad that we did. For the price paid, there are other hotels in the area that are cleaner, more modern, and more conveniently located than the Super 8.

Were very pleased with this hotel. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. the rooms were clean and comfortable. We didn't notice noise from the street as some others had commented about, but we did have a room away from the street side. My daughter and I stayed there and felt completely safe. The rooms entrance was on an indoor hallway and after hours you even needed your room key to enter the hotel. The area seemed safe anyway, but the added security features made it even better/

You get what you pay for. We were given a room that faces the street and it was a little noisy. Otherwise it was a good place to stay.

i've stayed here before -- i knew what i was getting into. the first room he gave me reeked of covered up smoke, after he moved us the room just smelled stale. but he had upgraded us. only real complaint is that the blanket needed to be replaced -- it was worn thin and just old... otherwise nice place. didn't even mess with the breakfast -- last time i did it was nothing special, but it's free. clean. safe. considerate. good deal for it's area.

Very clean, brightly lit, mostly newly refurbished. Very friendly front desk staff. Well-equipped and quiet rooms. Perfect for airport and off-airport parking proximity. Approximately 5 minutes away from SkyPark/SFO. Convenient, safe choice. Continental breakfast included, starting at 6:00am. Highly recommended.

Great location for our trip. The room met our needs for one night.

The hotel location is very convenient. Freeways are easily accessible. Restaurants and the mall is just down the street. Parking is free and for the price we paid, this is definetely a good value. The continental breakfast was a total blessing. The staff is friendly and was readily available when we needed them.

We needed a place to stay so my sister could get to SF airport by 4 a.m. Living over a hundred miles away we decided to stay close to SF airport. We were very pleased with the hotel. Basic, very clean, refrig and micro wave oven. Quiet and very comfy. Highly recommend.

Easy to find, well situated (close to SF Int'l Airport), with very good noise isolation. Outstanding room offered for a very reasonable price (week-end rates ?). Good value given by hotels.com with respect to direct purchase.

I booked this flight because it was the only hotel in the area I could find that offered shuttle service from the airport (SFO), free wireless internet, and free continental breakfast. It delivered on all three. We had an evening flight into SFO, and flew out again at noon the next day, so we were just looking for a place to sleep for the night. We got in and ordered a pizza delivered to the room. The surrounding neighborhood is not a tourist attraction, but we had no intention of going anywhere beyond the hotel. Front desk people were courteous and helpful. The hotel is pretty basic, furnishings are not brand-new, but it was clean and had everything we needed. I'd stay there again in a similar situation.

Surprisingly quiet considering proximity to the main drag and airport. I will definitely stay here again prior to early morning airport departures.

This is the worse hotel we have ever had to stay at. The first thing we saw when we drove into the parking lot was a couple of gang type looking guys hanging around a car. We had a very uneasy feeling. There were more guys outside on the sidewalk. The so called lobby was so small, and the workers or owners weren't so nice. The room was extremely small, there was a hole on one of the chairs, and the bed was awful. You could'nt pay me to stay there.

Plus: The location was great(very close to airport), courtesy shuttle to the airport, close to enterprise if you plan to rent a car, close to walgreens if you need some stuff that you forgot to bring, right opposite to 76 if you want cheap gas. Having a mini fridge and microwave helped a lot as we traveled with a kid. Minus: I stayed at at Super 8 @ Flagstaff and expected the same quality. But this one let us down a bit. The room wasnt as huge as the one in Flagstaff(probably location is to be blamed for it). The location of the hand wash put us off a bit(right at the entrance!) and then the constant smell of half-dried(soaked) cloth in the bathroom...eek. Tallying the pluses and minuses.. this place is definitely worth the money as the minuses are the bearable types(assuming the smell in the bathroom is just for the room that we got!).

Good. Clean. not close the to the bart... but good hotel for the price

The staff was courteous and the hotel was clean. Room was clean and everything (TV, A/C, plumbing, etc) worked properly. I think I saw someone get stabbed across the street from my window though. My advice, bring everything you need before you check in and don't leave your room to stroll around the neighborhood.

I didn't think this hotel would have been a fraction of how nice it really was. There was great security. The room was very clean. The front desk was a pure pleasure, they really were the nicest people I've ever dealt with in a hotel. I plan on making this hotel a habit...

I was not at all satisfied with my recent stay a the Super 8 San Bruno. The people at the front desk did not provide me with the customer service that I require when I stay at a hotel. The lights were out in our bathroom. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good hotel. Good breakfast! Friendly management and courteous staff. Clean motel room. Location was a bit inconvenient. Located in more of a suburb of SF. 15-20 minutes away from San Francisco and parking in SF was a hassle. This hotel is recommended IF you don't mind driving into SF.

Great Hotel. Better then expected. Good breakfast from 6-9 am. OJ & Apple Juice, cereal, bread, bananas, apples, bagels, etc. Parking was good. It was 15-20 drive from San Francisco, which wasn't that bad. Parking in SF was a hassle, but it was nice to come back to this hotel at night and crash. Good internet service.It certainly wasn't fancy, but better then expected for a Super 8. I wish all hotels that aren't "luxury" would be like this one!

4-night stay. Room appeared to have been updated recently. Very clean. Many restaurants, shopping mall, super markets, etc. nearby. Computer with Internet available, first come, first served and no charge for using. Breakfast room cramped. Towels consistently thin, "sandpapery". Overall a good experience for the money. We would stay there again.

I wasn't sure what to expect when we pulled into the hotel, but when I opened our door I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and spacious. Furthermore, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I was very pleased. The location was close to the highway and that made it quick and easy to get to downtown San Francisco and elsewhere. I would stay there again.

We had a room that was handicapped accessible, which was a little odd. We didn't need it, but there were no other rooms available. The shower was not enclosed so the water was all over the area where the toilet was. Other than that for a room that faces a busy street it was fairly quiet. For the price and being so close to our family it was a good weekend.

I had avoided another hotel on hotel.com from the vicinity of this one. However, apparently stuffed up toilets are all the rage in San Bruno and this one adds cold to luke warm shower water and reduced water pressure to its list of ammenitites.

Noise was one of the main problems. A woman screaming at either her husband or a child for about a half hour in late afternoon and again in the morning. I believe it was the manager's wife. The toilet dripped also. Then the carpet was far new, nor was the tile in the shower, nor the drapes or the paint. There was a cleaning smell to cover some other smell... which I might not want to know what it was. Next time I will pay more and get a better room.

very clean and relax place excellent customer service

I needed a close and clean hotel for one night and found this one very good price, good free shuttle service, close to airport and very helpful and friendly staff. The free continental breakfast was fair, dry bagels, but still fine for the price and convience. I will probrably use again when in the area.

My husband and I stayed at the Super 8 to visit some family and was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities. The staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay there from now on.

When I entered the room, I was greeted by a high-pitched buzzing sound. At first I thought a fire alarm was going off in another room. Eventually I traced the source of the noise to the small fridge in the room, which 'sang' each time the cooler came on. After pulling the fridge out, unplugging it, and shoving it back to place, I looked around. The furniture was worn and scraped and there was a burn hole in the bedspread. The TV channels on their list did not correspond to the actual stations in all cases. BUT no bedbugs. Firm pillows. They get credit for that. The staff was nice enough, too. I went cruising for something non-caffeinated to drink before bed... Vending machines were out of all three different types of soda that I tried. Sigh. In the morning, in the somewhat weak shower, I noticed someone else's hair on the shower wall, which totally grosses me out. The blow dryer promptly overheated while I was blow-drying my hair. I kept telling myself, "Good pillows, though." Continental breakfast offered coffee (not the best), juices, and shrink-wrapped, mass-produced danish. Ew, I'll pass. But it was free. And you get what you pay for.

Sheet and blanket was tucked too low. Like to have blanket/sheet higher on bed so can pull beyond shoulder without feet feeling cramped under blanket at foot of bed.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel right on Cannery Row in Monterey and loved it. We got a 2nd floor room with a balcony facing Cannery Row (a corner room so the balcony was on two sides). The hotel room was small, but quaint with all the amenities that my wife and I needed. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The staff was terrific and very helpful with dinner planning, etc. They served a continental breakfast to your room every morning and had wine and cheese socials every evening. Relatively speaking, I thought the price was very good for the quality and service that we ended up with... The only thing to consider when staying here is which side of the hotel you want to be on. The Cannery Row side will be a little more noisy than water side, but my wife and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching people go by.
