Rooms were recently updated and very modern. Place was very clean inside the room and had very presentable bathrooms. Only thing was we stayed on the first floor and the rugs and walls in hallways were a bit abuses. Some peeling wallpaper dirty / stained rugs.

In town for a funeral. Day of funeral, no hot water to shower. Basically you get a hotel room for a place to sleep and a place to bathe, and I was unable to do one of them on the most important day of the stay. Other than that, the hotel was fine.

For what I payed I got a really nice room. It had a king size bed that was very comfy and a really warm comforter. The service was great and the workers were really nice. I only had two complaints, after booking the room Hotels.com took care of everything properly but at the Hotel they also charged me an extra $50 deposit for service. I got there at 3am and didn't need service because I only went there for one night to sleep. But that charge was mandatory and it would've been nice to know ahead of time. That was no problem, my biggest concern was the temperature of the room. When we got there the AC was on and set at 59F and it was like 62F outside. So it was pretty cold. I turned the heat on and set the temp at 90 degrees. Found out the heat wasn't working. The whole night we slept it was cold, the warmest it got was 65 degrees. I know I could have complained and gotten another room but it was already late and I just wanted to get some rest before hitting the road. But overall it was a nice place, it was clean, the bed and bathrooms were really nice with plenty of towels. I would definitely go again.

The hotel was nice, comfortable, clean. We only stayed one night and did not spend much time in the room, but the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. As other reviews had stated, the parking lot was a little bit of a nightmare and the front desk service felt that every phone call was more important than the person standing in front of them - took 14 calls while checking in. However they were friendly and polite. Overall I would certainly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very nice -- bed was extremely comfortable. Only flaw I noticed in my brief stay was the parking lot was a bit small. Arrived late on a Saturday, and parking was somewhat difficult -- had to park on the opposite side of the hotel entrance next to the restaurant. Otherwise, no complaints.

We were very pleased with our recently renovated room though the view of construction debris from the ongoing renovation was not pleasant! The bathroom could use more lateral spaces to put things down but it was overall a good experience and very quiet for a hotel so close to the expressway. The maid even "made" our baby's bed by laying out her blanket and toy neatly in the Pack 'n' Play! The restaurant is also new and the food is decent and somewhat creative for a sports bar, though the menu is limited.

I chose the hotel because of its free shuttle from the airport and to the train station. We arrived very late (and tired) too late to order food, but the folks behind the counter were joking and friendly - gave us free drink tickets for the "karaoke bar" . . . the room was comfortable and breakfast we great. Even the shuttle driver(s) were wonderful.

The rooms on the first two floors have been redone and ours looked new. It's always nice to find free Internet access in the room. The night clerk said that the shuttle to the airport didn't start until 10 in the morning. Luckily the staff in the morning took us to the airport at 8 with no questions asked.

Well the hotel's shuttle was broken but they still managed to pick us up from the airport which was nice. The staff was friendly, especially the waiters in the bar.

The Hotel and room were clean and well maintained. Checking and Checkout were quick and painless. Hotel Restaurant was higher priced than I would have liked but they were able to put the hockey game I wanted to see on a screen I could see from the table... This is key during the Stanley Cup Playoffs!!!

Hotel has some major problems first night there me and my husband arrived tired it was somewhat late and was put in a room with heating system and televison not working at all; maintance worker came in after we waited half hour and determine both were broken and needed to be repaired. Of course we had to pack what we took out and move to another room. Last night there we was awake by fire alarm going off nothing was really confirmed what happen however the hallway was full of screaming people and frighten children cryying; it was horrible this went on for a good 20 min there was no apology for the incovience for neither one of these incident and out of all the people that worked there that we were in contact with only 1out of 5 was nice to us the rest of the employee's there were rude. Very unhappy with our stay there lesson well learned.

Hotel was excellent for the price - nice atmosphere, updated rooms and lobby, cute restaurant. But - The beds are as hard as cement! We wll woke up with back aches/shoulder aches, etc.

The staff was freindly and was helpful. The bed springs were extreamly noisy in my room and it was very loud even if I sat on it. But I am sure that was just bad luck and not a reflection of all the beds in the hotel. Overall it is a clean Hotel but the rooms felt very simple and plain. I would recomend this hotel but not if you are looking to stay more than one or two days. You should consider looking somewhere else if you are intending to have an extended stay.

The hotel was comfortable and staff reasonably friendly, yet uninformed about train service problems to/from the area. The free shuttle service from the airport stops at 10 PM so I had to take a cab ride which cost $40, wiping out any benefit from a lower cost room.

Room itself was ok, however the amenities were not. Internet was completely out of order. The restaurant was very noisy and the quality of the food more than questionable; the staff in the restaurant was nerving, coming six times wit6hin a 20 minute period to the table. And the hotel bill contained a very significant error (They initially did not recognize my prior payment through hotels.com).

There were very loud parties which continued throughout the night. They didn't knock on the door and break it up, though I'm sure people complained - no one could sleep. There were loud conversations in the hall and in the rooms (by the way, the walls are paper thin). You can hear every conversation at an audible tone in the rooms adjacent to yours. Though I complained to the party and to the front desk, they made no effort to apologize or make me feel they were concerned - that night or the following day when I was checking out.

Very people oriented. The pampering begins from your check-in till you check-out. The room was clean and odor-free, including the bathroom. I will surely stay at this hotel again or recommend to friends.

I Grew up in this part of Long Island. The front desk clerk at 10:30 pm on Dec 26th was extremely rude from the moment I said a friendly Hello. I enjoyed every aspect of this hotel except this interaction. Crowne Plaza needs to choose employees more carefully. This employee is representing Crowne Plaza and hotels .com.

Our standard room was extremely spacious. There was plenty of room for my husband, eighteen month old daughter and myself along with enough luggage for three people for five days! There was some remodeling work being done but you hardly noticed. The restaurant was great too!

The hotel and room was very clean and beautiful. The bed and comforter were probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in in my life. The service however was a different story. The girl at the front desk (Rachael) was very rude on more than one occasion. Also, they called our room at 9:30 pm to "make sure we had everything we needed". Some may look at this as a positive however I did not. How did they know I didn't have to get up at 5am and needed to get a good nights sleep? Or in my specific case my girlfriend and I were interupted during personal time and the mood was ruined. I look at it as if I didn't have everything I needed I would call, I don't need to be interupted late at night during a romantic getaway. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as long as you can get a good price on it, you really can't beat the room it was very nice.

This was my husband and I first time staying at this hotel and I must say I was pleasantly suprised. The staff and cleanliness of this hotel were excellent. The sleep number adjustable bed was the "BOMB" If ever in this area you must stay at this hotel.....

The room was exactly what we expected. lets face it you cant get a 4star hotel for a 2 star price. This is a decent hotel. Victor the manager was extremally pleasant. Cant speak much about rest of staff not too many dealings besides confusing phone conversations while trying to guarentee late checkin.We were here for 4 days and not one major complaint. We are very clean concious people so no matter what we would have found some fault. The carpets definetally need upgrading. Ours were dingy with stains and cigarette burns. Wore socks entire stay and that solved that problem. Not sure if sheets were actually changed while we were there I dont think they were but Im not sure if thats policy for a 4 day stay. Hotel was quiet and price was great. Definetally a 3 star Hotel and would return for the same deal in the future.

The non-smoking room had been smoked in by a previous guest. Housekeeping should have recognized this and aired out room better. Soap dish was loose. Sink drain was slow. Screen at the end of the faucet was missing, and water sprayed about the sink. Two long hairs in bathtub. No instructions for Internet access, so I had to go to front desk. When I asked if I could have a receipt for my stay, I was told that I could get on on line since I registered for my stay on line. I've tried, but cannot figure out how! A huge problem for me. A frustating experience overall!

We used the hotel because it was the closest we could get to a wedding 25 miles farther east on Long Island. It was right off the expressway so it was easy to get to and leave from. The room was unremarkable and comfortable, perfectly adequate for just sleeping and leaving. The bathtub drained very slowly, which we reported on our departure. The TV had only a few channels, but that wasn't important to us for this type of stay.

Although the location of this Hotel is very good (right off the L.I.E.) it needs some attention. The rooms are fairly clean, but it seems like they rush through and don't pay attention to small details. The rooms are furnished with Sleep Number beds and I never could get a good nights sleep regardless of what setting I put it on.Also, all of the other Hotels in the area offer a free breakfast for the same rates, this one did not. My feeling is that in a pinch this is a good deal but for my money the next time I am stasying at the Hampton Inn across the street.
