"Very clean"
Very nice concierge very clean and loved that Breakfast was included! Eggs, waffles coffee and More!
It was very pleasant. The room was clean and quite spacious.

A clean, comfortable, inexpensive place to rest. Nothing fancy, but clean. Family owned and operated. I've stayed in 3 and 4 star hotels in the past that weren't as nice. Right off I-91 near downtown. Everything you need is within walking distance.

"EconoLodge - Brattleboro - gateway to Bennington"
It's an easy access on I-9W to Bennington. The night manager was helpful in providing us with directions. The room we stayed was huge and clean. There's a big supermarket next door--very convenient. I highly recommend this place.

It was extremely easy to find off I 91. The room was fine, very clean. They served a nice breakfast (including fresh waffles). Very good deal for the money.

I wanted a quiet clean room to sleep on travel, and it worked out fine. It's nothing fancy, and the building is old, but it seems to be slowly improving. "Pleasantly surprised"
When you hear "Econo Lodge" you don't think great things. So we were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. It was clean and well-kept, and the rooms are HUGE. The pool needs a little maintenance, my daughter had paint chips stuck to her feet after walking around the outside of the pool, but other than that it was an incredibly great price […] for what you got. We were so very satisfied with our stay. The room was immaculate. Haven't stayed in a room this nice in a long,long time. Knew I was correct with my selection when I met two seperate people who were long term clients at this hotel.

Fine for the price. Clean, stayed in the winter and heat worked fine (electric fan type), people were helpful, breakfast included real waffles (station with batter and grill). Only suggestion - I like my coffee a bit stronger.
"Cheap"
It was cheap. The room was small,cold and damp; but a great buy if you are a skier and need a place to crash with 12 of your friends. Did I mention it was cheap?
"Good Location, Bad Room"
Pros - good location right off the highway and close to Mt Snow and Okemo Cons - heating unit is extremely loud and without it on, its freezing in the room. Fine place to crash if your on your way to ski/snowboard but dont expect much. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you.

Inexpensive, good, basic, friendly staff, clean - nothing fancy but very serviceable. Check out the waffle maker in the a.m.! Hotels/motels for me are a place to rest my head, nothing more. This one fits the bill.

This is a clean, cheap, convenient motel. You may see bad reviews from people expecting 5-star-hotel treats for this type of motels, and if that's what you want then do not book them, you'll be disappointed -- of course you'll find dated decor and stuff that's worn out! It's right off the I-91 ramp (so you may hear a truck or two at night if you have a light sleep), and a 3-minute drive from downtown Brattleboro. Although I was in a "non-smoking" room and signs were posted announcing the penalties for smoking in non-smoking rooms, the odor in my room was almost unbearable. When I arrived home, all of my clothes and belongings smelled of stale smoke from being in that room and on the furnishings.

"Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else"
First of all the staff is rude, the rooms are dirty and smell awful. I requested a non-smoking room and there was an ash tray in it. The maid never cleaned my room, I never received fresh towels or any type of service. "With the right expectations, you will be pleased"
We needed a quick hotel for the night in Brattleboro on our way through town. We booked the same day on Hotels.com and our expectations were met perfectly. When I'm settling in to a location (vacation, business, etc.) I like to stay in nicer (sometimes luxury) hotels, but when I'm on the road and just passing through I often pick out clean Inns and […] motels. This Econolodge fits that description perfectly. The room was clean and fairly up to date. The beds weren't heavenly, but they were good. We didn't have time for the pool, but it looked nice and clean. My only comments (and not necessarily complaints) are: 1) The help (I assume that they were the owners) couldn't have cared less about us or our business. They just didn't seem happy to be there. They weren't mean or rude, just 'blah.' But again, since we were just passing through, it didn't matter too much. 2) The complimentary breakfast is a waste of time and money. I took one look and walked next door to a bagel shop. On my way back I tried the coffee, but it tasted like boring, instant coffee. So don't depend on this breakfast to satisfy you very much. Owners, if you are reading this, try to smile a little more. And maybe consider improving the breakfast or getting rid of it all together (save yourselves the money and maybe pass it on to the customer ;). Leer más

I was looking for somewhere to just sleep. I arrived late and left early. There was some road noise. I closed the windows and used the AC instead. I slept fine.

A long time ago, my grandparents lived in Brattleboro. We went by a family owned motel every time we got off the interstate. When booking for my most recent trip, I did not realize that it was now an EconoLodge. The facility is quite old and is showing its age. I give kudos to the new owners/managers-seems as though they are working diligently to upgrade […] the property. Unfortunately, that's a very expensive and timely proposition. If all that you require is a roof over your head (which is good enough for me), this motel will do just fine. New bed covers were purchased within the last year, and the look is easy on the eyes. The hotel caters to out of state construction workers who barbecue in their pickup bed next to your room while drinking beer until after 10 PM. "Needs Improvement"
Did not feel safe. Additional door lock was broken, so we slept with table and chairs against door. Guests in nearby rooms did not make us feel comfortable. Sheets barely covered bed and were not fitted.

Room was only available for one night weekend stay during ski season. It was inexpensive but loud and not well maintained. Better than a tent, maybe!

The motel shows its age, both in design (shower only, no tub), and condition (the shower leaks onto the floor. Rooms are very small and the bathroom tiny.
