"Carambola Beach Resort in St. Croix"
This hotel is not close to anything. Seems to be clean, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. The room seem to be a little dark, not enough lighting. Oh yeah.....we did have to kill one huge cockroach, or some huge bug. Not sure what it was, but it was not staying in the room with me. I would imagine this hotel does not have a problem […] with huge cockroaches, but one could come in, which was the case here. I say this only because we did not see anymore after that, but then we were only there for 2 days and we killed that one the first morning. Did not see any after that. Leer más
"Exelent hotel"
On my 10 years traveling the VI this is the best place I have stayed. Peaceful, beautiful and exelent treatment. I will be back for sure.
AIrconditioner was very noisy! Tiles in bathroom were cracked and broken. Hotel looks a little run down. Not well kept for the price. I expected a nicer room. It has great potential if they do a little maintenance. It may be small stuff but easy things to fix and not neglect.
"I do not recommend this hotel"
The hotel room had a strong odor (bug spray) there was a large roach/bug near the sleeper sofa. They shower and bathroom was not clean. The flooring throughout the room is red clay tile that was stained/dirty. The floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks! The units are very old and need a deep cleaning and remodeling. We tried to switch rooms […] but the other rooms were in the same condition. I am very disappointed and will never return! Leer más
"Carambola Beach Resort is the Perfect Getaway Spot"
This resort is the perfect getaway spot if you want to escape from reality for awhile. The location itself is beautiful and so are the accommodations. The rooms are great with fantastic views. You are forced to put your mobile devices down and enjoy your stay because you truly can't get a clear signal to use your cell phone. The spa is fantastic! The […] staff made me feel very comfortable which made my spa experience even that more relaxing. I came for the weekend and wanted to stay longer. The only downer on the weekend was a storm in the area that affected the power but otherwise this weekend was wonderful. I'm definitely going back! Leer más
