La localización del hotel es excelente, está cerca de los espectáculos de Broadway y de los restaurantes y tiendas de Times Square y de Park Avenue. El servicio del hotel es indiferente: 1. Solicitamos personalmente hielo dos veces y nunca lo enviaron. Tampoco habia disponible en el piso donde estaba localizado nuestro cuarto. mi calificación del hotel para su categoría es de correcto. Con la salvedad que el personal de recepción no sabía español y que nos dieron una habitación cercana a un lugar con un ruido contínuo de un motor. Lo mejor la calidad de la cama (colchón, almohada y ropa de cama)

We stayed at the W times square for a week for my birthday with friends. The location is extremely convenient. While I don't like times square and doing touristy things (usually stay in upper west side) I picked this location this time because it is so close to all the NYC neighborhoods. Cab rides were between $7-14. Really close to subway. The hotel […] itself is beautiful. We had the Cool Corner room and the city view was spectacular. The service in the hotel was excellent. Everyone was friendly. Kelley at the front desk checked us in and when she found out it was my birthday she had sent up a bottle of champagne and some desert with a personalized note. Very sweet. Also, sign up for the Starwood membership when you check in. It's free, you accumulate rewards, and at the W we got free wifi and 2 free drinks at the lounge each for being members. DO NOT ORDER ROOM SERVICE - we ordered a soup, salad, burger, turkey burger, and brownies and they were all sub par. It was really unexpected from a W hotel. We couldn't eat it. At checkout we mentioned this to the front desk and he took off $50 from the bill, which was very nice. Leer más

Typical W hotel but the area around Times Square if very "touristy" - if you want more quiet stay at the other W's in New York City- Location is great for theater and shopping. The trade off for good location is the "noisy" touristy type of customers in that area.

Thank you for being able to honor my on-line request for a high floor with a view, The receptionist was very accomodating and cheerful. I have stayed once before at the W Times Square and at another VERY near by Boutique Hotel. I have enjoyed both equally which is a complement to hotel of your size. Thanks for a nice stay.

My stay was largely pretty great at this property. Meets high standards for W hotel in my mind. I would definitely stay again. Small issues: bellboy refusing to bring bag to street level for later pick-up, day of check out. Lobby is on 7th floor. Also, billing department is not responsive to small bill corrections, takes many attempts.

I had a room on the top floor (57th) with a view of Times Square. The hotel, the resturant downstairs (BlueFin) and the bar in the lobby were all wonderful. The front desk people were very nice and friendly as well. I would stay here again. My only complaint is that every day I had to call them to come clean my room, give me new towels and linens. […] The hotel is trying to save money (which I appreciate), but I didn't like having to call them daily to tell them I want clean towels. To be fair, there is a not in the room that notifies you of this. Other than that, we loved it! Leer más

This was a pretty bad hotel considering the age of it. Our heater did not work in January in NYC and we were told they would fix it twice and it never happened and we were neve offers a new room. Yet they offered us free breakfast which was prett terrible and really hard to enjoy anything in an ice cold room. Our shower head was poking out of the wall […] and they maid service never vacuumed our room. So super big thumbs down for cleanliness, maintenance , price, quality of food, and hotel service.. Upon arriving to the hotel, the room was not ready. The lady at the front desk granted my girlfriend and I with 2 free drink vouchers from the bar. Immediately I knew this was a good place. After our drinks, I went to back to check in to see if the room was ready. It was and the woman at the front desk gave us two more drink vouchers for being patient. […] Awesome. The room was very nice and very clean. Two small complaints, The water pressure in the shower was just not enough for a man of my size. I had to huddle under the shower head which barely poured any water on me, which turned a 15 minute shower into a 25 minute shower. Also our remote for our TV didn't work. Two small inconveniences that really didn't matter but in the essence of the review, it would be something to better my next stay at your hotel. The party scene in the lobby was excellent. Fun and vibrant. I do not suggest this hotel to large families with young children. But for young couples trying to get away for a weekend, this is the place to be. I will be returning here. The hotel has a great location but the building is showing some wear and tear. Workers were great!

I have to admit I had high expectations of the establishment, having stayed at the W hotel in Montreal before. However, some minor things like: Working cordless telephone Providing enough info for services available (car service) The dual elevator system from entrance to lobby and lobby to room wasn't very convenient. The fact that it shared a common […] space with the hotel bar was somewhat disorienting, some extent, unfitting w the welcoming experience. What really surprised me was the parking fee. W Hotel Times Square is really good hotel...good location...good service...good quality ... I do enjoy my christmas there with friends...

W times square is in the heart of broadway, opposite to Marriott marquis so the location is perfect. Rooms are clean. Also Bathrooms except for the point that it is not totally seperated by waals from room (only opaquer). Great staff. But the Hotel as a whole is SMALL. I would rather pay this expensive rate to Marriott Marquis (personal preference) […] but it very good otherwise. Leer más

The hotel was great, except that our bathroom was not clean and room service prices are over the top. The hair from the previous guest was still all over the shower/tub, floor & sink of our bathroom. The racks underneath the sink (which hold your clean towels) look like they have never been cleaned. They are supposed to be chrome but are brown from […] the dust on them. Leer más

Great location and helpful staff

After being kicked out of a neighboring Hotel becasue of our puppy (even though it was a dog friendly hotel) we moved over to the W after booking them on hotels.com at literally the last minute. the W was amazing...The provided us with a doggie care package and even offered dog sitting if needed. W New York Hotel has the worst customer service I have ever seen. The double bed was a three quarter bed, so very uncomfortable . I was sold a room with two double bed for four adults and the room had no capacity for 4 people. There was not space for the suitcases. The hotel suggested that we could leave the luggage at the reception and every day take […] them to the room to get what we needed. The reception manager and director had no manner to deal with the situation. They offered us another room at a high price after we paid a room for 4 people as advertised on the web. We paid in advance and for this reason they did not even consider that they should have given us another room as there was not space to fit 4 people in the room which was for 2. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody who want to book for more than one - two people per room. Not a nice experience. Leer más

We were supposed to have a corner room, upper leval and they were all sold out when we checked in at 4 pm. This was dissappointing, but they gave me dining credit to compensate. My wife got out of the car to walk a few blocks to the hotel and I got there first. The desk clerk assured me they would give her a key when she arrived, but they did not, […] same desk clerk five minutes later, that was pretty bad service. I had very good service by all of the rest of the staff in our stay, they were great. Would stay there again, but rooms at upper level are way to pricey. Leer más

The W in Times Square is well recognized as a fun and trendy local for yuppies. The staff is very friendly and helpful even when compared to other higher-priced hotels in the area. The bar-lounge is very neat and stays active to all hours of the night. Unfortunately they only serve drinks so you need to go elsewhere for food. The rooms are surprisingly […] small considering the premium price and luxury feel of the hotel. The bathroom has a opaque wall so don't invite friends over unless you feel comfortable sharing everything. The tolerance on noise was very low too so don't expect living out your rock star fantasies here. Overall, the W is a nice place to stay, but don't expect too much or you will be ultimately let down. ME AND MY WIFE STAYED AT THE W HOTEL FOR MY 25TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. WHEN I CHECKED IN, EVERYTHING WAS AS IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE. CHAMPAGNE AND CHOCALATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES, FLOWERS PEEDLES ON THE BED ETC. WHEN I WAS HANDED MY ROOM KEY, THEY SURPRISED ME BY GIVING ME A ROOM ON THE 57TH FLOOR , WHICH IS THE TOP FLOOR IN THE HOTEL, INSTEAD OF THE 30TH […] FLOOR ,WHICH WAS WHAT I WAS SUPPOSE TO GET. the w - times square is located right in the heart of all the action. i was on the 50th floor with a view, second to none. i had sushi in the "blue fin" restaurant and walked two blocks to a "live" broadway show. if there's one complaint, it's the availability of elevators. each day offered maintenance issues with the "lifts," as they're called. i […] highly recommend the w - times square! As usual, excellent service at the W. I arrived on a red eye flight from LA, and they let me check in at 9am, so i could shower and clean up before my meeting. Thanks abunch!

This hotel s absolutely fantastic. It's right in the heart of Times Square and it extremely easy to get to from the airport. The service is great and the rooms are spotless.

Stayed there over night for my wife's b-day. First issue. No real line when checking in. We got skipped by at least 4 people and the clerks didn't care. Second issue. Parking. They said they had valet parking when I asked. They didnt mention that is was a separate company and that you needed to pay. Third issue. Way too expensive for what they give […] you, although I will admit, being in the heart of Time Square is convenient. But I could have saved much more at a hotel just as nice only 2 blocks away WITH free parking. Fourth. If you dont mind being a bit voyeuristic, then you will be happy to listen to your sweetheart empty her bladder with the smoked glass enclosed bathroom. That could be a bonus to some and a negative to others I suppose lol Checkout was easy. Right through the TV. Great location, staff was nice.. But had to take 3 elevators to get to my room and needed my room key to use the elevators (no big deal but a pain).

Great location, and the room was very quiet despite being steps from Times Square. Did not like the bath room at all - frosted glass walls, no privacy, loud panel door. Check in was very quick and easy.

There are Two Towers, one from the 8-33 and the other from 34-60. The betters rooms are on the upper levels. I think minimal is good but in W time square yore paying location not for a big or luxury room. Rooms are small ando "ok" Cheers...

We experienced excellent service with a spectacular view! The only thing I would have changed was the very modern, yet not so private bathroom. The glass walls of the bathroom seemed glazed but still very see through and not sound proof either.

We were very impressed from the outset - the night that we arrived, it was raining, and we were met by Brian holding up an umbrella for us, and then taking care of our luggage. He was such an asset tot he hotel - from our 1st to last impression, we couldn't have been any happier with his help. WE also had a bit of a problem with the fact that when […] we changed our room (due to excessive noise from the icemaker), we inadvertently left behind our brand new camera charger. After advising Security of exactly where we'd left it in the previous room, and it subsequently not being found, the hotel refunded the cost of our replacemnt charger - which we were obviously delighted by. Everything about the hotel was great. The only thing we found odd was the see-through bathroom--I have never come across that before. We had to request (3 times) for someone to come and cover the bathroom wall.
