Had a 2 night stay over new years, nice and homely hotel, yet a bit run down in its finish. After 2 weeks in mexico we were rather happy to find a washer & dryer in the room! Only negative was the ignorance at the front desk, any question asked felt like a burdon for them.

Our room was nice but it would have been great if we were on a higher floor. Lower floors don't get much of a view. 4 or higher to get above the tree line to see the yacht club and bay. Coconut Groove was had a great hip neighborhood feel. Sidewalk dining and small but nice shops. Skip the big expensive seafood place across the street. It's not bad […] but has that big chain feel. Cuban restruant Larios on South Beach had great food and reasonable prices. Go to the botanical garden it is amazing! If traveling by cab, make sure you have time to wait a little while when going home. Cabs are not in the area and they have to send someone your way. Admission is free if you are a member at another botanical garden. Bring your membership card. Leer más

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite over New Years weekend. The room was beautiful and contained all the amenities of a luxury hotel. The next time we are in Miami we will definitely be returning to the Mutiny.

Very clean hotel and walking distance to coco walk and night life. The rain from tropical storm caused everything to end early, but had a lovely time in coconut grove area.

I would recommend this Hotel to my best friends....but ask for room with view upstairs and view to Poolside...thats perfect.....

The hotel ok if you are just in the area for the night. It actually is in a busy area, but the beds were not comfortable and the layout was nothing like described. We were supposed to have a king one bedroom suite with a foldout couch and a bay view, however we were overlooking dumpsters in an alley, the bedroom had a full size bed and the foldout didn't […] even have a mattress. Of course the pictures of the rooms always look bigger online when you look at them, however,when we went there, I was not at all happy with the size of the room. The hot water did not work in the bathroom,and the location to the beach was not close.

The safe in our room didn't work when we checked in and it did seem to take a long time (1 hr. 20 minutes) to get it repaired ( including 3 calls by us with promises that "someone would be there 'right away' ") Otherwise our stay was VERY nice and even with the delay EVERYONE with whom we interacted was absolutely great. we will come back.

This was our second visit to the Mutiny Hotel, and it did not disappoint us! The staff is attentive and friendly, suites are quiet and immaculate, and the sofa bed REALLY feels like a comfortable bed. We could easily walk to the shops and restaurants in Coconut Grove. It is also only a few minutes to drive to many sights in Miami, including Bayside, […] downtown, and South Beach, but at the end of the day we can relax here without the noise of those areas! Lovely hotel. Pool was so refreshing Completely shaded in morning and late afternoon. Perfect temperature. Staff are very courteous and accomodating. Stayed 6 nights. Will definitely return to this hotel on next Miami vacation. Son is in coast guard stationed in Miami. He stayed with us and loved this location. Nice neighborhood. Good value, nice hotel. The only limitation is the resturant is very small but you are within walking distance to all of the resutrants in Cocanut Grove.

Great place! Love the atmosphere and decor. Staff was friendly. Restaurant is very small and very slow.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Mutiny Hotel in Miami. Very well maintained and a gem with reasonable rates. Great location - 1 block down from CoCoWalk where shopping and restaurants are found. Will definitely visit again!

We had a good experience at this hotel. The only problem was the air conditioning units which were too loud. We were told all the rooms had the same type of unit. Otherwise, our stay was pleasant and worth the cost.

I can't recommend this place at all, although the area is a vacation paradise. My wife and I and our eight-year-old son found that the "two queen beds" that we'd ordered were one twin bed when we arrived. We were then told that a cot could not be provided because of "a fire hazard"--I've gotten cots in hotels for thirty years. Our son ended up sleeping […] in a fold-out couch in the dining area, which meant that (since he sleeps much later than we do) we had to tiptoe around the place, have no access to the dining area, et cetera, for hours on both days of our stay. Perhaps worse: We were told on our arrival that valet parking was mandatory. We tipped the valets generously every time they brought out or parked our car. When I was back from the trip, I found three charges on my credit card, the number of which I'd been asked to supply on my arrival. One charge was $44.94 for parking--a fee that I'd been told nothing about and that I'd have avoided by parking on the street if I'd heard of it. Two more charges (~15 and 7 dollars) are "mysteries" to the hotel accountant who I finally got through to. I'm still waiting for explanations of those. (Maybe they're for opening up the couch!) There's a great swimming pool and a decent gym, but I recommend looking around before you settle for the kind of treatment that we got at the Mutiny Hotel. Leer más

I arrived with apprehension as it was rated 6.2 on trip advisor. Hotel was impecable ,clean, floors all ceramic in the rooms , 1bedroom with king bed(sheets clean) room service dailykit.chinette adequate for simple meals. Great service at valet parking. kids like pool and hot tub. Well located. Close to the Grove's Restaurants.

The Hotel is in desperate need of updating. It is similar to an old European Hotel. This being said, it is kind of quaint. OUr first room had the Tv remote, freezer, dishwasher and telephone broken. The Queen size bed was extemely uncomfortable for my husband and me. My sister had the same feelings about the beds. She stayed there in February. She said […] they are 100 years old and need to be thrown out. The front desk was kind enough to change me to a room with a king bed and full kitchen. Everything was perfect in this suite except the washer's spin cycle was broken. The pool is smaller than my pool at home and only about 15 chairs. There was no way that we would ever get a lounge chair. The parking people took FOREVER to bring the car down to us. I recommend calling from your room early to get your car. I have to say that the staff were very nice and helpful. There are many dogs living in the long term rentals. The halls sometimes smelled of dog. Leer más

The room was a suite, nicely decorated, if a bit awkward in layout (odd, narrow foyer,but the bedroom, living room, and kitchen were fine). The hotel had a workout center, nicely landscaped smallish pool, and a restaurant (a little pricey). It was very close to Coconut Walk, with many shops and restaurants within five minutes' walk or so. We were ten […] minutes drive from U. Miami, and perhaps 30 minutes from South Beach, and downtown Miami. The service was good, though there was only valet parking. This boosed the cost quite a bit ($16-21/day). The hotels furnishing are a little out dated and the air conditioner compress is in the closet and can be a little noisy. I closed the door it didn't bother me but it bother someone sleeping on the pull out sofa. I like the balcony and the view of the bay. We were very pleased with our stay at The Mutiny. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. We were greeted with outstanding valet parking attendants and a very friendly concierge staff. The entire staff was very friendly and most accommodating. Not to mention the immaculate and tastefully decorated rooms. The bedding was first class and oh […] so comfortable. We cannot complement Jesus, Cesar, and Sam the lounge and dining staff enough!! The food was incredible! We were served in a very friendly and professional manner. Avions choisi cet hôtel car pas loin de l'aéroport et était situé prêt d'un quartier différent : Coconut Grove (car connaissions déjà bien Miami Beach). Cependant, pas d’intérêt. Mieux vaut aller à Miami Beach.

Wir haben das Hotel als letzte Station unserer 3wöchigen Floridareise für 2 Tage gebucht. Es liegt 5 Minuten vom Inneren von Coral Gables entfernt und man hat teilweise Blick auf einen Yachthafen. Um nach Downtown zu kommen, ist ein Auto Pflicht. Es gibt nur kostenpflichtiges WLAN in den Zimmern, jedoch konnte ich auf dem Balkon ein anderes öffentliches […] WLAN empfangen. Ansonsten gibt es Empfang im Foyer und am Pool, der zu empfehlen ist. Gerne wieder und Euch viel Spaß. :-) Leer más

2 dérangements dans la nuit pour cause d'alerte incendie!

Das Hotel gehört absolut zu den Besten Preis Leistung Verhältnis. Mann muss zwar den Wagen nehmen zum an Strand fahren, aber wo ich die Zimmer ( Mini-Wohnung) gesehen habe, so nahm ich dass sehr gerne in kauf. Die Angestellten sind wirklich Nett, höflich und zuvorkommend. Alles war Sauber.

Kommt darauf an, was man sucht bzw. erwartet: sightseeing / shopping / clubbing / gambling interessierten mich nicht, war ja nur ein kurzes stopover. Das Mutiny Hotel liegt ca. 7km ausserhalb von Miami, dafür ist Coconut Grove direkt in der Nähe, ein netter, wohlhabender Vorort, mit einigen guten Shops und auch Restaurants (z.B. Le Bouchon du Grove, […] exzellentes französiches Restaurant). Ich fühlte mich sehr sicher in dieser Umgebung, auch nachts. Kein Zugang zum Strand, dafür mehrere Jachthäfen direkt in der Nähe. Miami Science Museum (5km) entäuschend. Service am Empfang: sehr gut. Hotel-Bar: freundlich. Breakfast service: forget it...! Dafür Starbucks usw. nur 10 Minuten zu Fuss. Vom Int'l Flughafen nur per Taxi erreichbar, kostet ca. US$70.- hin und zurück, was den Aufenthalt nicht unwesentlich verteuert. Leer más

lorsque nous sommes arrivés, il y avait une sorte de cafard sur la cuisinière de notre suite. Le frigo n'avait pas été vidé des derniers voyageurs: restaient des palts à l'odeur douteuse. La baignoire n'était également pas très propre. Sinon correct, jolie petite piscine. Juste à côté de Cocowalk. Mais avis général : je n'y retournerai pas.
