Céntrico, buen desayuno, habitaciones reformadas recientemente. Personal amable. Habitación un poco pequeña y no funcionaba el wifi en la habitación aunque sí en el lobby y gratuitamente. Hotel recomendable.

Headline says it all. Very typical high quality German standards family like hotel. Not a big chain or luxury hotel, a little off the beaten path (in a good way) but a very short easy walk to the lakes, shopping, luxury hotels, restaurants, historic sites, etc. U1 metro is steps away for direct link to main rail station and one change to airport. Not […] at all seedy area like near the train station or St Pauli, where better value accommodations are more abundant. Double decker hop on/off city tour bus stop (every 15 minutes) is next door. Unadvertised is hotel "gym", which is really only three cardio machines in good shape. Only area I was displeased with is no free WiFi anywhere in hotel. In-room WiFi is available for 4.50 Euros per hour through T-Mobile (or possibly free with T-Mobile user account). Free WiFi seems to be rare in Hamburg unless you find a Starbucks (and there are several nearby.) There is a free Internet PC in the lobby for guests' use and the wait for using it was rarely more than five minutes. I definitely would consider staying here again, but not go out of my way if the price were not equaivalent to others in area. Leer más

The Hotel Alster Hof is in a very convenient location with many nice restaurants just around the corner. Hotel staff very helpful, I left my camera in the restaurant and we had already checked out of the hotel but the receptionist called them and got it back for me. Hotel was great, rooms were fine for what we needed, decent shower. Breakfast was lovely and the location was great, right outside the u-bahn station, near the park and not far to walk in to the centre, will definately stay there again on a return visit to Hamburg.

The room was excellent and location was fantastic. Breakfast was hearty and wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

A really friendly, clean hotel in the perfect location for a visit to the Staatsoper. 50 metres from the underground which connects to the airport and the rest of the city and easy walking to the centre. Highly recommended.

Location was good but on a noisy street made sleeping hard with the window open (needed the window open to cool the room)

I'd return to this place but ONLY IF I got a room not facing the back street (almost an alley) where street sweepers and trash collectors start their noisy work at around 6 AM every day. Friendly and helpful staff at check in.I was in my room within minutes of arrival.Hotel was quiet and clean and room was comfortable.Great location for getting to Hauptbahnhof {10 min walk}City easily accessed from here and very reasonable rates.

I was only in Hamburg for one night but this hotel was in a lovely neighborhood, had excellent service, and made my brief stay very enjoyable.

I would reccomend this hotel with some reservations, apart from the issue of the receptionist, we were given an spaciuos room located almost underground, very dark and looking to an interior patio. I stayed in a single room at the hotel. Room had a comfortable bed, desk, small wardrobe and lcd tv, but looks a little dated. There was a small en suite shower room also (no bath). My room was quite long but fairly narrow and at the front of the buidling. If you are light sleeper, then try not to take a room at the front. Noise is of continuous traffic. […] and quite noticable despite double glazing There is no air conditioning in the room and in the summer I imagine it can get very warm. Breakfast was served in a nice big clean modern breakfast room had a good choice of fresh fruit (strawberries, melon), breads with meat, cereal, bacon eggs and is self service, buffet type. The only wi-fi I could pick up on my laptop, was T-mobile, which you can use at €8 per hour! There is one computer as you enter the bar area, that you can use free for internet though - if you can get on it! There is a gym and I believe also a sauna, however, I did not investigate these areas. Overall - fairly good value as price included breakfast, though room nothing special. Leer más

Besides the bed that was not built for tall people the room was tidy and pleasent, the hotel is situated in the heart of the city, in the main tourist area, breakfast was good and all was in a very decent price. I would go there again, should I stay in Humburg.

We stayed in five different cities during our two weeks in Germany and this was the breakfast with the most choices and freshist food. Great location being half a block from u-bahn,movie theatre and the big casino. The double decker tour buses stop near the front of the hotel. Free computer to use in the lobby. There is no parking in the hotel and the […] nearest garage is 16E but there is free parking on the street at night until 8AM and then 2E per hour meters. The double rooms are large but I was given a room in the back that is extremely noisy(garbage trucks real early) but the staff was pleasant and changed my room. My suggestion to management is to put a ramp in front of the hotel so people don't have to carry their suitcase up the few steps from the street. Leer más

I stayed with my son on the evening of the Europa League final. The hotel was conveniently located close to the u-bahn and the bus routes (bus 112 is a must!). Breakfast was plentiful and we both enjoyed the quality. A few minutesaway down the road is the Hofbrauhouse, excellent for a night cap or yet more German sausage! My wife and I stayed for five nights in April 09 and had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is in a great location; a safe area, just a pleasant 5 minute walk from the main shops, Rathaus etc. The staff were all extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean, with lots of storage space. The bathroom was […] recently refurbished to a very high standard. dejligt tæt på alt også julemarkede på rådhuset, bruser der virker, sikkerhedsboks der er nem at håntere, hele fem stole godt hvis man er flere masser af skabsplads og stort værelse lækkeret morgenmad med både blødkogt æg og hårdkogt det oplever man ikke mange steder, minibar flot udsigt over hamburg, men hvis man er i en transporter er det lidt svært […] at finde parkeringsplads men det er det i hele hamborg da den ikke kan gå i parkeringshusene, da anbefaler jeg at man tager toget, super godt hotel Leer más

preisgünstiges, sauberes und sehr gut gelegenes Hotel nahe vom Zentrum (Rathaus), ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet

Godt hotel - fin beliggenhed, dejligt stort værelse og lækkert badeværelse - fin rengøring. Vi manglede kun gode parkeringsforhold.

Fin med gåafstand til byen og et udemærket p-hus 5 min. derfra. Stort dejligt værelse, gode senge stort bad. Rolig sted.

Nettes Hotel mit idealer Lage für Spaziergänge durch die Innenstadt. Die U-Bahn ist nur wenige Meter entfernt, sodass weiter gelegene Sehenswürdigkeiten ebenfalls schnell erreichbar sind. Die Zimmer sind sauber, jedoch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück bietet die nötigsten Speisen, aber auch nicht mehr. Wer in Hamburg Komfort suche, ist […] hier nicht richtig aufgehoben. Aber ganz ehrlich: in diese Stadt bleibt man ohnedies nicht im Hotel! Hotel Alster Hof er et godt valg for et weekendophold i Hamborg, hvis man ikke har for høje forventninger til værelset. Værelserne er nydelige, men bærer præg af, det er et gammelt hotel. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und für ein drei Stern Hotel auch O.K. Nur das man ein kaltes Zimmer bekommt, und der Portier auch nichts dazu tut einem entgengen zu kommen ist nicht O.K. Er hat uns angeboten in ein anders Zimmer zu übersiedeln, das auch kalt war.Wir wollten einen Entlüftungsschlüssel für den Heizkörper, er sagte uns, er hat keinen und […] hat auch keinen Zugriff auf solchen. Wir organiesierten uns vom Nachbarhotel einen Entlüftungsschlüssel für den Heizkörper. Dadurch wurde der Heizkörper ein bißchen wärmer. Jedoch am nächsten Tag war das Zimmer warm und somit alles O.K. Ich wollteam Abreisetag online einchecken. Die Tastatur des Hotelcomputers schrieb andere Zeichen als die ich eingab. Der Portier konnte mir auch nicht helfen........... Leer más

Tut mir Leid, ich verstehe nicht wie es heute noch sein kann, dass in einem solchen Hotel kein kostenloses W-LAN zur Verfügung steht. Man hat mir allen ernstes einen W-LAN-Zugang für 5 Euro die Stunde oder einen T-Mobile Hotspot angeboten. Mit Parkplätzen ist es auch nix. Da bieten die Kameraden ein Parkhaus ein paar Straßen weiter an. Da für wollen […] sie aber auch noch 16 Euro haben. Also kommen noch mal locker 21 Euro dazu wenn man es mit Hotel vergleicht, die diesen Service bieten. Leer más

Utmärkt hotel med bra läge och trevlig personal och en fin frukost. Enda negativa var att sängramarna i trä var obekväma då madrassen låg för långt ner i denna ram.

Dejligt rent værelse, nyt badeværelse, super lækker morgen buffet, rigtigt godt fitness rum og venligt og hjælpsomt personale.. Da det ligeledes ligger i gå afstand til store oplevelser i Hamburg samt tæt på banegård og U-Bahn, kan dette hotel kun anbefales. Prøv det!

Fornuftig rated hotel med dejlig central beliggenhed tæt på Hamborg´s bymidte og søerne. Rigtig godt morgenbord. Havde værelse til bagsiden. Vil nok ikke synes om værelse til den trafikerede forside. Vil bestemt anbefale det til andre og selv benytte mig af det igen hvis jeg får brug et par overnatninger i Hamborg.
