We enjoyed the hotel. Its location is superb, across the street from the Metro station and the trams and a 10 minute walk to the Causeway Bay malls and restaurants. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would strongly advise spending the extra sum for the "harbor view" (which was nothing less than magnificent!) The room was small-ish, about the size […] of a typical European bedroom but very ergonomically designed. We were able to tuck away two large suitcases and two hand luggages without stumbling over them. Internet was included in the price and a router was kindly provided by the hotel. The net could get very slow if too many online used their band. We arrived in HK in mid-winter and the temperature dropped down to 8-9C. We could never get the room to really warm up. The non-opening windows were drafty probably due to poor sealing and their AC/Heating system refused to provide any heat even when we set the thermostat to 32C. The hotel lacks a real lobby with sofas so if you are waiting to be picked up for the airport, waiting can be a bit touch and go. Leer más

It has nice and very friendly team. Even standart rooms are sufficents space for staying. It's very close to the shopping centers by walking even wan chai 15 minutes. Don't think a lot and only book your room at this hotel and forget about it.

Great hotel. Had a room upgrade because we were a day late arriving. Stunning view from 31st floor suite. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Hotel itself lovely and clean, great facilities, would highly recommend.

It's a great hotel for buisness but the internet connection spped needs to be really improve. Shouldn't take a minute to load google.

The room we stayed was very small, however, it was comfortable enough. It is convenient to get to Tin Hau MTR but a little bit of a hike to get to Causeway Bay shopping district as it sits on the edge of Causeway Bay. The internet DSL service is so slow that in all practical terms it simply doesn't exist. It is slower than any dial-up service we have ever used. And we can remember the days of 110 baud.

Stayed in this hotel on 12/16/11. Both bellboys and receptionists were friendly. I was given a free upgrade from Standard to Deluxe room for 3 parties accommodation. Good size bedroom with large bathroom surrounded by glass. Only draw back is the hotel still offers broadband internet access at the business center instead of high speed internet access […] which took at least 3 min. to open an e-mail and dowload, and I had to give up although it's free. Stayed at Metropark Causeway bay for 7 nights! It's situated near Victoria Park and just couple of minutes walk to Causeway Bay. If u choose not to walk, there is always 'ding ding' tram, buses or mtr trains. Really convenient to travel anywhere from the hotel. Hotel reception is great too! A nice and convenient place to stay. near mtr station,wellcome and 7-11, cafe de coral and mcdoald, too. Staff are friendly and courteous. Room and bathroom is average in size in any hongkong hotel. No bathtub.

Very convenient location, just one block from the metrostation Tin Hau. Tin Hau has very much eateries around, so the location is perfect - not too far from nice restaurants and just a few minutes away with Metro to the pulse.

We stayed at the Metropark hotel for 5 nights. The hotel was clean, and had all of the standard amenities. The rooftop pool was closed for the season, even though it was 85+ degrees. Very glad I chose this hotel. I had an executive room, great view, excellent service, good location, very comfortable bed, I just wish they had wireless internet access. And the speed on the wireline internet was slow. Other than that, great stay.

Nice stay overall. Disappointed with the room itself, very basic. The food menu and breakfast were a rip off.

My room was on the "executive floor" and the service was excellent. One funny thing: They don't provide bottled drinking water. Instead, there is a lidded water jar that's supposed to be filled by housekeeping. Problem is, you have to call housekeeping every time to have it filled up. The cleaning lady advised that the running water from the tap is […] drinkable (in other words, no need for other options)...That was a bit of an unexpected "advise." Great hotel. Great location. Great staff. Can not fault any aspect of this Hotel. Happy hour from 3pm to 9.45pm. Happy days.

We stayed 4 nights on business in HK in a Harbor View room. The first room we were given was musty smelling so we requested another. It was better but still had a damp oder as soon as the AC was off. Location is near the metro and many inexpensive local restaurants. A good spot for anyone staying in HK for business. A bit out of the way for anyone sightseeing. I stayed in Hong Kong for 6 days for a friends wedding. The hotel is around 200metres from a metro station and has a supermarket and restauraunts right outside. The rooms were a touch on the small side, but very clean and the bed was very comfortable and the hotel had free wired internet. The shower was a good size and nice and powerful. We confused this hotel with MetroPark Wai Chi, and ended up at this one. It was very nice with a free cocktail upon arrival. The first night I could smell smoke from another room, but the staff moved me promptly to another room - an upgrade to a suite in fact. Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Located less than 5 minute walk to the metro. I would stay there again.

This was an ideal location for us, situated alongside VIctoria Park, with a great harbour view. The area was quieter than Central or Wan Cha and the air better too! One of the reasons for our trip was to watch Chelsea FC at the Hong Kong Stadium which was about a mile from the hotel. The hotel is also 5 minutes walk from the MTR station, Tin Hau, trams […] and buses so easy to get around. There are plenty of restaurants locally if you don't want to travel in the evening. The hotel itself is modern, clean, comfortable, room was a good size. The roof pool was great! Staff very good. Only warning is if you do any laundry, the cost can soon mount up! We loved the Metropark. From the moment we arrived the feeling was good. Room was comfy and clean. The staff were friendly and helpfull. Only stayed 1 night, but we had 2 rooms. Stayed at the Cosmopolitan 2 weeks before and there is no comparison. Cosmopolitan was a dump The Metropark was a great little find. I'll be back.

It is an excellent bargain for the price of the rooms in this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and the condition of the rooms was very good.

Overall our stay was very nice. We booked a 10-stay in this hotel and we have an unobstructed view of Victoria Park and Hong Kong harbor. The only thing I complain about this hotel is that, on the second night of our stay, I found something running swiftly before my eyes when I was about to turn off the light at the night stand; I gazed at the night […] stand intensely and there I found a small cockroach disappeared before my sight again! I was startled by this. I never saw this cockroach again after this. Of course I did not tell my wife about it, otherwise she would freak out! We booked an executive parlour suite and absolutely loved it.We had a beautiful room with fantastic views over the harbour and a great bathroom, computer and free internet. We were whisked to the more elite reception on the 29th floor, offered drinks and snacks at Happy Hour on our arrival, given free late check out and welcomed to stay in their lounge […] until leaving for our late flight. We absolutely recommend this hotel. It is right next to an mtr station, has free shuttles to many places and very close to Victoria Park where you can wander anytime night or day watching the locals practice their Tai Chi and various sports. The concierge booked dinner for us at our selected restaurant and looked up various details for us including where and when to have high tea, ferry times and booking info. Great hotel. No complaints. For comfort and quality, this hotel is excellent. For location and surrounding neighbourhood, there are many other better hotels in Hong Kong.

convenient location & beautiful harbour view

Trainee staff who attended to me throughtout the stay was very attentive & polite. Conceirge service was good too.

Hotel has an excellent location in a less busy area of Hong Kong island. MTR station very close, as are the brilliant trams which are a fantastic way to see the North side of the island. Fantastic views across the water to Kowloon, especially from the rooftop pool. Hotel Staff really pleasant and very welcoming. Excellent choice, quality and good value buffet. Early evening happy hour in the executive lounge very good, with drinks and hot / cold snacks provided as part of the package. Overall nice stay. Very close to an MTR stop, but otherwise the hotel is a bit out of the way. The only issue was that the room I reserved online was not available when I arrived. The hotel initially request that I pay double to upgrade to a suite. After a bit of haggling, the upgrade was at no cost.

I am not usually moved to writing reviews but this hotel thoroughly deserves this one. From the moment we got there all the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent (next to the train station) and room perfect for our needs and immaculately clean. The staff even noticed it was my partners birthday whilst we were out there and so the […] manager arranged for a cake, candle and best wishes card to be sent to our room. I have just return from my stay there. I booked 3 standard rooms for a single night as I brought along my relatives and family, total of 6 people. The location of the hotel is great, within 3 minutes to a mrt station. When I reached the hotel, I was greeted by the staff and felt welcomed. Communications with them were relatively easy as I knew catonese. […] However, when I tried to converse with them using English, they seems to have some problem replying to my english questions. However, I am still satisfied with their services. The bad thing about the hotel is that despite it's good location, the insanely high property prices of hong kong land, caused the hotel to build insanely small room. But if you are ok with the size of the room, then this hotel is indeed a gem due to it's great location and excellent view from the top floor of the hotel. We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The rooftop pool was a very nice amenity. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the MTR stop and a 2 minute walk from a corner grocery store. You can grab fresh fruits at the store for a nice breakfast on the go while you sight-see. Friendly and helpful staff. Being a tall guy, I was worried about booking a room where the bed would be too small. So after reading some reviews, I paid a bit more than I usually would and went for an executive suite at Metropark, which was definitely worth it. The room was very large, more than enough room for 2 people, with a couch, chairs, desk by the window with a great view […] (all executive rooms are on the upper levels), table with a bowl of fruit. The bathroom has a separate shower and bath. There was a choice of free continental breakfast in the Panorama lounge (29th floor) or "American" breakfast in the 2nd floor restaurant. Every evening there is a free happy hour in the lounge with drinks and small snacks. The hotel itself is less than 5 minutes walk from Tin Hau MTR station, which is very convenient. There is a shuttle bus that runs hourly to the airport, though I had an early flight out so I couldn't make use of it. I would definitely stay here again. Leer más

Stayed a week in an executive suite; very good value for money. Room was ample for two people to share without getting in each others way. Bathroom was modern and spotless. The hotel is located less then 5mins walk to Tin Hau MTR, the station closes at 12am. 1 stop to Causeway Bay Shopping Area. I stayed at the Suite Room for 4 nites with my family of 4 and have enjoyed every bite of it, except for the air-con. The air-con seems not to be cold even though we put it at 18'c, other then that no other issues. Staff was friendly […] and helpful. Restaurants can be found just next to the hotel, supermarket and 7-eleven. But to other attraction, that would be a bit far, but with the MTR nearby, you wouldn't be far from anywhere. Leer más

Great value hotel that is clean and comfortable. Just a short walk from everything you need. Would certainly stay here again only this time I would give the breakfast a miss as it was fairly basic. Nice but basic

We stayed here for three nights on our way to Vietnam. Upon arrival we were upgraded to an executive room, a pleasant surprise. The room was huge, elegantly decorated and had a harbour view. The buffet breakfasts were wonderful, the service excellent and the subway was about a five-minute walk away.

Our stay was pleasant and the size and cleaniness of the room were very good. Everything works in the room except for the air-cond. The thermostat didn't work and it was very cold. However, after I called the reception desk, a portable heater was delivered to my room within 5 mins.
