Me gusto mucho este Hotel, excelente ubicacion cerca de la 5Ave, y de la playa, el hotel muy limpio y la habitacion bien comoda, el desayuno continental esta regular sugiero que pongan frutas, o yogurt., mucha privacidad en este Hotel, volvere lo recomiendo..

"Muy buen hotel"
Cuando elegimos este hotel realmente teníamos muchas dudas ya que como somos una familia compuesta por 6 personas pensábamos que la suite nos iba a resultar pequeña,pero cuando llegamos tuvimos una grata sorpresa,era amplia, iluminada,limpia , cómoda y bien equipada. El sector de las piscinas era excelente y el Tiki Bar era un lugar muy lindo. Ademas […] muy cerca de la playa y el centro, todo lo hacíamos caminando. .Realmente volvería sin dudarlo. This is a nice place to stay. The rooms are nice & have a lot of room in them. We just wished the pools didn't close so early. We think that 9pm would have been a better time since we could not go to dinner then get to use the pool for some time in the evening.

"Close to beach"
The place was old and our room was moldy smelling. Very shabby and carpet was dirty looking and stained around fridge. My husband went to front desk and said we were unhappy about the room and they never offered to change so we checked out next day. We had booked for 4 days. The air conditioner unit was a side of bed which blew right on your face. The […] band played until 11:00 PM, or if they got tips, longer. It was more of a neighbourhood type bar. Has wonderful courtyard each with a pool, great tiki hut bar and grill. Fun atmosphere. Hotel prime location to times square. hotel could use a bit of updating in the guest rooms and I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite.

The place had a live band, bar food, nice mixers, and fun people. We went to a couple other places on the beach, but returned to the Lighthouse for a lot of fun.

I can't say enough good things about this resort! I brought my mom here for a getaway & we both loved this place. Rooms are cozy & well equipped. There is nothing pretentious about this place. The vibe is the perfect combination of relaxation & fun...makes for a great vacation! The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome (Stan is the MAN!) […] The beach is within walking distance, though they have 2 swimming pools on site. always enjoy staying here. it is close to the center of ft myers beach, great tiki bar and restaurant, and friendly staff. rooms a bit dated, but clean.
The first room we were assigned was very small and narrow. the front door opened right in front of the bed. the blinds didnt meet the edges of the window and the window was in front of the parking lot. this particular room also was near the TIki bar which was having karaoke night and the sounds traveled very well, unfortunately. but it was the smell […] of overflowed toliet or damp dankness that prompted me to ask for a different room. The second room was much nicer, no bad smell. large fridge, dishes and silverware. it was on the second floor which felt safer than a door that faced a parking lot next to a bar full of drunks. the receptionist was very nice and changed our room with no event. hotel is located at the center of everything. breakfast could be bought which was good and not expensive. pool was nice though we mostly went in the ocean. "Affordably Nice!!"
it's not 5 star but its a good deal!! Just a block from the beach - and a short walk to shopping and places to just veg out and relax. I had enough pillows and blankets, everything worked the way it was supposed to. I could have my coffee on the balcony and watch the busy people heading to the beach. "Not the room advertised"
Made the reservation through hotels.com by telephone. Paid the upgrade to a one bedroom suite with king bed. Upon check in this accomodation was not available and we received a very dated room/suite in the hotel annex with a bed that was not quite a queen size! Only stayed one uncomfortable night.

They have a karaoke bar that is very loud located in the courtyard. If you want peace and quiet dont stay here. Other than that it is an ok hotel with great location.

We love this hotel! A true beach gem. Close to EVERYTHING, which means you can walk and leave your car parked for your entire stay on the beach. Two very nice pools and a tiki bar that is fun to hang out in. We never stay anywhere else. Our king suite room was very nice and clean. Looked like it had been updated recently. You can't go wrong.

"Overrated"
This place was way outdated. At night this neighborhood become as one person put it the ghetto. Would never recommend this place unless you like people yelling and fighting.
"interesting room"
We went for a 2 queen room and a sleeping sofa for our family , make sure you check it before you book it is it under one air or not. We steped in and everyting was in 1 room; not to convinient . We only stayed 1 night so we survived but if you planing to stay longer make sure check it and you get what you want .

It was a horrible 3 nights stay in the lighthouse ressort & suites: - As we arrived the pool surrounding was cleaned with a pesticide which went back with the cleaning water into the pool... - Bar music could be heard through all walls in the room, could not sleep until 2, when the life music stopped. But after it the guests had a party until sunrise […] through all nights while our stay (August 2011) - The restroom was rusty and the water only cold. The fridge could not be complete closed. - Staff was very kind and repaired the cooking plate immediately, but provisonal. - At the opposite of the hotel a hospital was broken down. So it was depressing seeing a burn out, lonely place. - At last you could only go to the beach at mornings. Otherwise every bar plays radio music along the whole beach. Leer más

"In the Middle of It All"
Fabulous location, pretty tropical colors and the tiki bar was a perfect place to kick back and relax. The two pools were nicely landscaped and clean and the water was warm for November, which was a plus. Great little hotel. Awesome tiki bar. Love that we could bring our dog. Walking distance to tons of shops, restaurants,etc. We definitely intend to stay there again and would recommend it to anyone. It's not a 5 star resort but it's clean and comfortable and in a great location.

This is right across the street from the beach. the place is great for where I needed to go. You can walk to a restaurant or eat the food and drink right there at the Tiki Bar. The locals go here just for the food and drink. I am a native Floridian and it was perfect........

The hotel is in a good location, with everything within walking distance. The bed was comfortable, but the bathroom facility was oddly designed with sink in the room instead of with the toilet and bathtub. The noise from the late night partiers in the Tiki Bar was an annoyance, lasting until 2-3am every night. OK if you are part of this scene. Though […] the air conditioning worked well, we were forced to turn it off at night to avoid having some sort of "debris" blown across us while we slept. This was reported to the desk and they promptly dispatched someone to vacuum out the air conditioning unit, but without success--still don't know what was being blown over us! I saved a sample--just in case! Our room was in need of updates/maintence: blinds wouldn't work properly, a phone was in the room, but not plugged into any jack--in fact there was no phone jack on the wall. Placebo phone. Parking was difficult if you arrived back to the hotel during happy hour (not our happy hour!) Staff was friendly and reactive to our problems, though not successful in correcting. Leer más

Comfortable, Clean and affordable. Tiki Bar was great. DJ needed to play more age appropriate music. Biggest downfall of hotel is that it is not on the beach, but not too far. Front desk was not real friendly and hotel did not have a computer to use. But overall a great little place to stay. Nothing fancy but nice. great location but they need to first up grade rooms and tv;s when i called for more towels they made me go down to laundry room and get my own towels.Stains on the couchs and carpeting,toliet kept running.not enough parking..

Nice Hotel but its not a 5 star if thats what your looking for. It fun near the Beach 2 blks. shopping ,restaurants, funs local bars, have stayed there four times, spring break is a blast and i'm 58yrs old.

The hotel was located close to main area and very charming but the room was under espectation as lights did not work carpet was okd missmatched beds. But I believe this was only the are we stayed as other ares were more updated and newer.

This being my first time in Fort Myers and the first place I picked out because of the price, it was wonderful. Close to the beach and restaurants. They were working on the hotel, but we came during an "off season". My boyfriend and I knew the hotel was old but it was a pleasant time. We both work at a hotel and I have to admit, the care that went into […] this old hotel was better than the one we work at. It had a homely atmosphere with cats all around. I love them because I had one at home I was seriously missing. The overall cleanliness was good as well, everything in the room looked like it was new. There was not a mark or dent on anything. The shower/bath area was clean but had just two spots of mold on the ceiling because sometimes when people shower they forget to put on the exhaust fan. At our hotel that we work at they just have a fan that makes noise and no exhaust. But other than that, very nice hotel and the staff was friendly. Leer más
