"4th Stay"
we have stayed at this hotel 4 times and each time has been very enjoyable. We like the rooms, the location of the hotel, the breakfast, the inviting feeling of the fireplace in the lobby, the pool room, the friendliness of the staff, and basically everything about this hotel, and will stay there anytime we are in the area.

Excellent in every way. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, breakfast was fabulous and Staff was very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Outlet Stores. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The hospitality of the staff was excellent! Very comfortable! My kids just loved it! Beautiful location and views! Excellent for shopping the outlets for such a close walk. Close to town even though we usually stay in town Gettysburg, it was an excellent alternative. Glad we tried this hotel. Thanks!
"Counry Inn & Suites, Gettysburg"
We were very pleased with everything. Trolly came right to Hotel, we just left our car at Hotel. The trolley is free to everyone now also. Great breakfast, loved the pool. Would probably stay on the third floor next time, so I don't hear an earlybird on the second floor taking a shower above us. Walk right to outlet stores.

This hotel is within 5 miles of the Gettysburg Battle field and less than 100 yards to the big Outlet Mall so I could spend my time touring the historic sites and didn't have to worry about my wife being bored and sitting in the car while I rushed through the tour. Nice room in convenient location for driving to Battlefield & downtown. Shopping center on location, but we did not go there. Very enjoyable stay.

This hotel was located across from Outlet Mall and several places to eat. The room was clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast offered a good variety of choices. We would definitely stay there again.

WE had a very pleasant experience. The hotel staff was very friendly and it was very clean and nice. They have a nice breakfast also. I would stay there on my next trip to Gettysburg.

I was very happy apon arrival. We were able to check in early. We entered the room and it smelled musky or as if the last roomers had a pet. At first I thought it was because it was raining outside and just needed fresh air. I advised the front desk and went off shopping. The same smell was there all 3days. I have a 4 year old who likes to look at everything […] and she found a can of mens body spray under he dresse(not ours) and what might have been tooth paste or whatever on the wall by the bed. "not attentive to problems"
I did a review 2 days ago about Eisenhower Inn in Gettsburg mistakenly thinking it was this hotel,I regret any problems that it caused them because it was a good stay at that hotel and it was my error.As to this hotel the room I was given was directly above the front automatic opening door which made more noise than you can believe when opening and […] closing,which it did till late into the night.When telling the front desk about this noise they said yes they knew and they thought it would probably get fixed sometime soon and that was the only response,no offer to move us to another room.The other problem was both drains (the tub and sink)where so slow draining it took forever,dont like standing in water when showering,dont think any maintenance of drains is done.Would stay here again and would not reccomend. "Wonderful time"
We had a great time eventhough we had a flat tire when we got to the hotel. They were helpful on getting telephone numbers and addressed to get our tire replaced. Let us check in 4 hours early. Beds were queen and great sleeping.
"Country Inn Suites a Fabulous Place"
This hotel was a marvelous choice. It is close to shopping, Gettysburg and had a wonderful free breakfast buffet. Space in the dining area was a little cramped but you could spill out on the terrace if necessary. Pool and Jacuzzi were clean and work out center fully equipped and operational. Clean and comfortable would be my description in summary.

This is a nice hotel close to the battlefields. We chose to stay here when we took our daughter to The Land of the Little Horses. It's a nice hotel but had an oops upon check in. We checked in and they gave us our key, we walked down to the room, opened it and found it already occupied (that was awkward). Breakfast was ok but nothing special and they had run out of the waffle mix by 8:30am (severe disappointment to my 3 year old). We had 3 adults and a child in the room and were very comfortable for our 3 night visit. The property is right off a main intersection in Gettysburg and very convenient to The new visitor center and battlefield which are only about 1 mile away. It is connected to an outlet mall with a TGI Fridays next door. The public transportation trolley stops at […] the hotel if you care to leave your car while visiting the downtown areas which can prove to be a challenge for parking. "OK - but allergy beware"
Slightly over-priced, but the location was good. Did not realize till 3am that the comforter was a down comforter and pillow (guess I was too tired to notice right away) But being allergic to them was no treat. Still a nice place. 4 out of 5 in my book.

"Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Gettysburg -"
This is the 2nd time we stayed at this hotel and it was just as enjoyable as the 1st. We've been traveling to Gettysburg once or twice a year for several years and this is my favorite place to stay. The staff are friendly and courteous. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is convenient to anything you want to see or do.

the location was great, hotel was very clean - I would've liked a nicer breakfast - no bacon or sausage - had to make own pancakes and toast, etc. - I mention this because for the $ I felt that would've been appropriate

The hotel was very comfortable and the morning breakfast was great! The location was convenient to the local attractions -- and to the shopping and entertainment venues.
"Soccer Tournament Weekend"
I'm sure that the Country Inn and Suites by Carlsburg in Gettsburg is usually very nice. However, on the weekend that we were there it was total chaos. There was a Soccer competition in the area with hundreds of teams - and all the hotels/motels were packed. After returning to the Hotel from a visit to town for dinner we saw parents bringing in alcoholic […] beverages by the case. The dining room area (for continental breakfast) had quite a few adults sitting around drinking, the tables had adults drinking, and it was pretty roudy. There were kids running around everywhere - totally unsupervised by anyone. It was more like a controlled riot than a family fest. The hotel staff were unable to cope with the situation - only two people. It was impossible to even retreat to the room and turn on the TV to drown out the noise. There was jumping, stomping, the whole place was shaking. The doors to rooms were open up and down the hallway so that the kids - adults could come and go as they pleased from party room to party room. It did not settle down until after 11:30PM!!! We'll never waste our time and money at a place that caters to those sports groups again. Be sure to ask if they are booking sport event families, because if they are it will be total chaos. . This hotel was very clean and quiet. There is coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate and cookies available 24 hours/day. The room was very comfortable and large. The breakfast in the morning was good. The nice thing is that this hotel is only 2 miles from the Gettysburg National Park entrance. Hotel is very easy to find also. Will definitely be staying there […] again when we return to Gettysburg. "Country Inn and Suites- good location"
The hotel is right off the highway and right in an outlet center. It was only a couple of miles from the visitors center and battlefields. The first room that was given to us was not what was requested. Not big enough for 5 people and the room smelled very musty. They had no problem giving us another room. It was fine, but when we went to bed there […] was blood stains on the bed pad that were visible through the sheets. The front desk brought new sheets. The next night on another bed was a smear of blood on the sheet. They once again brought new sheets. The third night there was a blood smear on a pillow case. Gross! I let them know I was disgusted but they just said one of the housekeepers must of had a cut. Nice! Probably wouldn't stay at this particular hotel again! Leer más

The hotel was in a great location. It was about 2 minutes from the main part of downtown Gettysburg. It was also located right adjoining to a outlet stores. TGI Fridays was also just adjacent to the hotel. The continental breakfast was more than sufficient. The hotel staff were very accomodating.
