"Baymont Grand Rapids"
This place was pretty nice for the price. It was an older hotel but clean and comfortable. The room was very clean and the beds great. Unfortunately the room did not blackout to total darkness and it was difficult to control the temperature of the room. The lobby and breakfast area were nice but the hallways smelled like cleaning chemicals.

"Very pleased"
My husband and I had to go to Grand Rapids for the funeral of my grandmother and we were very pleased with this hotel. We had a single king suite which had plenty of room to accomodate all of the items required when traveling with an 11 month old baby (Pack and Play, etc). The room was very clean and there was no hesitation on our part to let our daughter […] crawl and walk around it. There was a very nice pool which was open until 11pm so we were able to do a little swimming (which our daughter loves) before bedtime. There is free WiFi in all the rooms and we had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffemaker available if we needed it. The free breakfast started at six am and was more than adequate for us to grab a quick bite (waffles, breads/muffins, hardboiled eggs, several cereals, biscuits/gravy, juice, etc) before heading to the funeral. It is located very close to I96 so we had no trouble getting on and off the freeway. It was also located near a Bob Evans restaurant so we were able to have a very satisfying dinner after we arrived. The remaining area was rather sparse (I believe there was another hotel and a gas station nearby) so I would not recommend this location if you want to be near multiple restaurants or the night life of the Grand Rapids area. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a nice, clean, and comfortable place to stay for a few nights in the Grand Rapids area. Leer más

"Pleasant stay"
This place was great. The only small complaints we had were that there was a noise like a fan or pump from the bathroom or a neighboring room, so that we had to keep the bathroom door shut while we slept. In addition, we thought the evening clerk had told us that breakfast ended at 10, so when we showed up at 9:15 we were told that it closed at 9. […] That may have been a misunderstanding on our part. Baymont Inn & Suites Grand Rapids North 2151 Holton Court NW- Very nice hotel with convenient location to tons of shopping & dining on Alpine Ave and only 7 mins from Comstock Park . Great hghway/freeway access. Warm welcoming staff that were attentive to our needs. Nice clean pool/hot tub and the A/C in our room worked great. Hot breakfast was free […] & fabulous (hot homemade waffles, sausage ,etc) and staff very friendly. We have nothing but good to say about this hotel, we'd definitely stay here again! "Perfect Stay"
This hotel right off I-96 was exactly what I was looking for. Relatively new, nice breakfast with waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, juice, danish and muffins. Pool with hot tub and even a computer with internet access in the lobby. Was able to walk to McDonald's and Bod Evans and stop for gas @ Meijer before heading out. "Great time"
The hotel is in great shape, very pleasant. It is in a great location only 15-20 minutes to downtown. If you need to stay some place close to Meijer's head quarters this is a great place to stay.

We stayed here on our way to Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. This hotel was convenient to the interstate and far enough out of Grand Rapids that we didn't run into traffic in the morning. Their pool is fantastic. They offered a supper and a breakfast. Both had hot dishes available. The breakfast was the typical cereal and donuts. Room was comfortable. People […] in the room above us kept jumping around well into the night but I never called the front desk, probably should have. Quick check in and check out. Good hotel stay. "Clean, safe neighborhood"
Good hotel. Outdated a bit - but very comfy. Wifi worked - the only problem was while I was working at the desk in the room the A/C blew right on me. Overall good though. I'd stay there again.

Rooms were a bit smaller than average and the hallways as well. They only had one elevator and the breakfast area was rather small too, very crowded on Saturday morning. The desk staff was courteous and I was checked-in promptly. Clean comfortable lobby, complementary eating area across from the lobby. Lots of good choices, and OK for breakfast, but I would opt for a restaurant for dinner. The only complaint that I have is that the cleaning staff was using bleach as part of their cleaning chemicals. The smell was all […] but overpowering in the halls and in the room. Eventually it mostly aired out, but while I appreciate cleanliness there must be other chemicals with less fumes to endure. This is not meant as criticism of the cleaning staff, they did a good job of cleaning, but a suggestion to the hotel management to see if they can find a way to reduce or eliminate these strong fumes. This hotel is a great location for west Michigan attractions, it is 45 minutes or less away from everything. The rooms were a little dated but they were very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool area not maintained well, had to ask for towels each day and saw the same items of debris on the surrounding floor area 2 days in a row. "Were in town for a track meet--satisfied"
We were in town for a track meet in Kent City. This hotel was very easy to find and access. It was a successful trip and we would stay again. Nice breakfast for free too:)

Front desk staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. Breakfast was great. The pool was a tad chilly, but we got in. A great stay. We'll definitely return.

The hotel was clean. The housekeeping staff didn't even understand simple english. The pool/hot tub heater broke on Thursday and was not fixed on sunday. Stay there if you want to but I was not impressed.

Very pleasent experience. Large room with great layout and the breakfast was very good with a large selection of food and drinks. Price was VERY resonable. Even though located close to I-96, the road and vehicle noise was non-existent.

We had a great experience with this hotel... Not only did the front desk staff accommodate our every need, but the room was clean (complete with a good-sized mini-fridge and microwave!), the beds were comfortable, and the price was good. Complimentary breakfast was also a great perk. I would definitely suggest this hotel to others looking for affordable […] alternatives to other downtown Grand Rapids hotels. The only drawback is the neighborhood (nearest restaurants are Bob Evans and McDonalds), though it was a quick 10-minute drive to downtown Grand Rapids making this a small price to pay. Leer más
"BED & COMFORTERS WERE WONDERFUL, BREAKFAST NEEDED"
BREAKFAST WAS NOT THE GREATEST AND THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH PARKING SPACES IN THE LOT, BUT THE HOTEL WAS FINE.. THE COMFORTERS WERE AMAZING AND THE BEDS WERE SOFT AND THE PILLOWS WERE GREAT.. VERY CLEAN.. WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.
