I had booked into another hotel for the same money, without checking the reviews on tripadvisor.com. The reviews were frightening to say the least. I was able to cancel and plumped for the K&K on the basis of its high rating. I'm sure you could get a better hotel than the K&K but not for the money. This hotel is only a 5 minute subway ride from the city center and lets you off in front of the hotel, couldn't be more convienient. With the windows closed and AC on it's truly quiet. Plus you are in a very nice neighborhood away from the touristy stuff. The beds are new and the best we've ever had in a hotel. A+

The location is good because of the very easy to use transportation system and the stop is right out the front door of the hotel. Nice neighborhood that made us feel safe. The front desk agents were efficient and spoke English.

This hotel is not in central Munich but is right across the street from an elevator which takes you directly to the U-bahn or S-bahn; therefore, you can be in central old town Munich in 10 minutes. Our room was prepaid through hotels.com and was a great value for this 4 star hotel. The bedroom was large, especially by European standards and had a separate […] entry and luggage storage area and bathroom with tub/shower combo, soaps, shampoo, lotions, fingernail file, cotton balls, shoe polish pads. There was a mini-bar with enough room for storing your own items, a safe, and plenty of storage shelves and closet space. The bed was firm but comfortable with excellent sheets. We did not pay the very high breakfast price but used room service once and found the food excellent and a good value. There is a McDonalds in the same block and a large three story supermarket in the next block. A bakery , deli, and fruit/vegetable booth are also in the same block. The hotel offers free coffee and tea in the lobby area all day, and a bowl of apples is on the desk for guests. The staff was very helpful with every requests. We stayed here for a week and were very glad we had picked this hotel instead of paying a lot more for the same thing in central old town Munich. Transportation was excellent and easy. Leer más

A good clean friendly hotel with a high quality wired internet access, but lack of restaurant is a shame.

I had prepared myself for a room on the small side, based on reviews I had read on European hotels, but this room was a very adequate size and was laid out comfortably. The decor of the room, bathroom and the general hotel were modern and aesthetically pleasing. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The surrounding neighborhood had cafes, restaurants, […] bars and a convenience store. The Metro was a block and a half away and went anywhere in Munich. This hotel was really really nice, and well worth the nightly rate. The breakfast buffet was nice (though, a little expensive at 18 euros), and the service was superb. And you can't beat free LAN and wifi.

It was my first trip to Munich and I must say, for the price really can't beat the K & K. We are already planning a trip back for Oktoberfest and will try to book this hotel. The staff was very helpful as my German is only on a third grade level ha ha! They all spoke English very well, helped us plan tours around Munich, gave directions to all the main […] attractions, etc. The location of the hotel is very convenient as if you walk out the front door the UBahn station is barely fifty feet from the door. It took us a few minutes to find the K & K to start with but that is because we didn't have the UBahn stop. To get there from the airport take the S8 to the Marienplatz and then get on the U2, the U2 goes two directions so look at the map for the Harras stop off the U2. If you go there it will be easy to find, simply take the lift up from the subway (as opposed to the stairs) and once you come up to the street level look left and the hotel is right in front of you. The room was spotlessly clean and offered free internet downstairs as well as free printing. Very helpful for planning trips. The room was also very large for a European hotel...larger than the other two hotels I stayed in during the trip which were both about the same cost. Bathroom was large also. We stayed 3 nights in March of 2009 and had an excellent deal. Subway station and shops in front of the hotel. about 7 minutes to Marienplatz by Subway. Very quite rooms!

I have stayed here multiple times when visiting Munich and always recommend it. Clean, great staff, nice neighborhood, parking available. If you look at a map it is not near the city center (which is where I usually go to go sight-seeing) but don't worry b/c the metro is RIGHT across the street (literally--walk out the hotel door and the metro is a […] few hundred feet) and the Munich metro is super easy to use and cheap for a one day pass. Most European hotels are small for what us spoiled Americans are used to, but this one is very clean and nice. It is super convenient to the rail system and they offer day passes for the rail system at the front desk at a discounted rate. I would certainly stay here again, especially if I wanted to avoid renting a car while I was in town.

Das Hotel ist verkehrsgünstig direkt an der U-Bahn gelegen und bietet ein faires Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir hatten allerdings ein Zimmer ohne Frühsstück und haben in der Umgebung gefrühstückt.

eigentlich sehr gut, leider trafen wir am Harras eine Riesenbaustelle an, die die kurzen Wege zur U-Bahn, verlängerte. August 2011

Saubere und korrekter freundlicher Service. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, der Service ausgesprochen freundlich. Tiefgarage im Haus. Anbindung an City durch U6 direkt vor dem Hotel.

Tysta rum om man bor mot gården. Rum mot gatan/torget avsevärt högre ljudnivå. AC anläggningen inte av högsta kvalitet. Frukost hygglig men snålt med bl a bröd. Ett glas Sekt till frukost - vilken start på dagen! Nära till S o U bahn satationer - snabbt inne i centrum.

Used the hotel one night when on business in Munich. Close to S- and U-Bahn, very frienly and efficient check-in and -out, nice, ouiet and clean room to courtyard, Will stay there next time too.

Отличный отель за такие деньги. Расположен в 1 мин. от метро (5 станций до центра), хороший район. Персонал приветливый, номера убирали оч. хорошо. Несколько кафешек, в т.ч. максдональдс в 1 минуте от отетеля. Лучшее кафе - напротив отеля, по другую сторону дороги, чуть правее. Итальянское кафе - дешево и очень вкусно. Понравилась звукоизоляция номера […] - не слышно ни соседей, ни улицы, хотя окна выходили именно на улице. Большой недостаток - очень душно в номере, система центрального кондиционирования работает очень плохо. Ставил кондиционер на минимум температуры и максимум обдува - не помогало. При температуре на улице 20 было очень душно. Система дует в противоположную стену, в сторону от кровати. Летом будет очень жарко. Но тихо и чисто. Leer más

Bis auf den Umstand, dass am Morgen der Wasserdruck im 5. STockwerk nicht sehr hoch war und Warmwasser nicht kontinuierlich floss war das Hotel einwandfrei bezüglich Zimmer, Komfort, Sauberkeit usw. Gerne wieder!

l'albergo rispecchia precisamente la descrizione riportata sul sito. Camera accogliente e pulita. servizio di pulizia e redemption efficiente. Collocazione albergo comodissima a pochi metri da fermata metropolitana. Unico problema costo breakfast troppo alto.

Das hotel liegt gerade bei der U-Bahn Station Harras, so ist man schnell im Zentrum.

Optimales Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für ein Stadthotel dieser KLasse.

Albergo eccelente e personale super cordiale. Il pacheggio è un pò caro ma in media con il resto del paese 15 euro al giorno (anche per le moto). Le camere sono perfettamente allineate al livello dell'albergo (molto belle), il bagno è perfetto. Noi erevamo all'ultimo piano ma l'albergo si trova in una strada molto trafficata e quindi rumorosa. Non avevamo […] la colazione inclusa e quindio abbiamo preferito la classica colazione all'italiana (capuccino e cornetto) al bar di fronte all'albergo naturalmente Italiano. Leer más

I enjoyed very much my staying at the K&K am harras. The hotel is right next to the subway. Very friendly stuff, always eager to help and inform. Would stay there again.

Il servizio ottimo, la struttura sembra nuova ed ottima, i servizi per esempio internet oltre che gratuito anche veloce, la tv satellitare, ho avuto un po' di problema di segnale, la camera sempre in ordine e pulita, l'unica cosa che il servizio iniziava ad arrivare al mattino presto, ottimo albergo

Όσον αφορά την περιοχή είναι αρκετά βολική καθώς είναι μόλις 10-15 λεπτά από το κέντρο του Μονάχου (Marienplatz). Μην περιμένετε να δείτε κάποιο γραφικό προάστιο του Μονάχου, αυτό εξάλλου δικαιολογεί και τις χαμηλές τιμές του ξενοδοχείου. Κυκλοφορούν αρκετοί Τούρκοι - Μουσουλμάνοι στην περιοχή, οι οποίοι βέβαια σε καμία περίπτωση δεν μας δημιούργησαν […] πρόβλημα ή κάποιο αρνητικό συναίσθημα. Το προσωπικό ήταν πάντα πολύ ευγενικό και πρόθυμο να μας ενημερώσει για ό,τι θέλαμε. Το μόνο αρνητικό ήταν ότι κατά την άφιξή μας το μπάνιο ήταν βρώμικο, άμεσα όμως μας έδωσαν άλλο δωμάτιο μόλις τους ενημερώσαμε. Το δεύτερο δωμάτιο που μας έδωσαν δεν ήταν ιδιαίτερα ευρύχωρο παρόλη την κατηγορία του ξενοδοχείου. Σε γενικές γραμμές το επίπεδο των υπηρεσιών είναι πολύ κανοποιητικό και ιδανικό για ολιγοήμερες διακοπές. Leer más

Gut: Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Anbindung an U- und S-Bahn in die Innenstadt von München. Der Aufzug zur U-Bahn lag direkt vor dem Hotel. Nicht so gut: Der Preis für das Frühstücksbüffet war hoch. Allerdings war es auch wirklich gut und vielseitig.
