No tuve ningun contratiempo con la ubicacion, es muy cerca 3 cuadras de la estacion principal de tren, comodo, limpio y tuve la suerte de que me tocara la habitacion en la primera planta, ya que el unico inconveniente es que no tiene ascensor.

"Nice design hotel for a couples break"
Easy parking right next to hotel in Gänsemarkt Parking facility. Walking distance to town center. Alster lake is only 400m away. Hamburg is such a nice town for shopping and a relaxing weekend break. We brought folding bikes so we could se more on the sunday. The hotel has nice spa, sauna, pool in the basement where you can relax af a long day walking. "Trendy hotel with frustrating features."
The hotel was very pleasant except for the fact that I could not turn down the heating in the room - so luckily the windows opened and I was able to keep the room cool that way. The sink goes not hold water. The lighting around the mirror cannot be turned off without removing the room card leaving the electricity off during the night.

We didn't spend a great deal of time hanging around the hotel during our stay in Hamburg. However, what we saw of it was immaculately clean and tastefully done out. Service was friendly and helpful too. The ideal modern city hotel for me.

I can't find any fault with this place! Great welcome at reception, very helpful. Hotel 1 minute from Underground on U2 , runs all night, less than 5 minutes to the central (HBF) station. Boutique hotel with extremly comfortable rooms - not faar from the Opera house.

Sorry but this was bad . 30 Degre outside the same in the room.No decent Air Conditioning or not at ALL.Could not sleep.No separate shower in the Business room.No On demand TV.Save your money choose a decent one................

+ Nice modern minimalistic design + Great location: a small side street close to the city (2 min walk to Gaensemarkt; 5 min walk to Inner Alster; 10 minute walk to Monkebergstrasse), calm and quiet. + Pleasant staff - Room was in need of some renovation (fingerprints on the wall, rust in the bathtub)

Excellent position with local transport links nearby. Few minutes walking distance to the main attractions, good restaurants and bars. Service was faultless with a pleasant and helpful attitude. Good Spa facilities.

"3-4 Star hotel"
Nice room , nice locations. Everything is very modern. It is far from a five star experience more like 3-4 star boutique hotel. I.e. No doorman to open the main doors. I have had nicer stays at 4 star Westin.

I chose this hotel for it's proximity to the start of the Hamburg 2010 Marathon. Needing to be close to the start and finish of the race, i really couldn't have asked for more. We arrived and were pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded. Our room was sumptuous, on the 4th floor. It had it's own little kitchenette, fridge, massive shower/bath in […] the bathroom, and even a throne like loo!! the deck on the 8th floor was a lovely place to kill time whilst putting my feet up before/after the marathon. we didn't eat in the restaurant, but it did look rather splendid with all the meats hanging for all to see in the hotel foyer. staff were very friendly and helpful. the hotel was geared more towards the business traveller, as during our stay there were 2 big conferences going on within the building. however, there was no issue with noise or anything from the businessmen/women. a stones throw away from the city centre, we were well placed to explore. ideally we would have hired bikes but it rained on the day after the marathon when we had earmarked to bike around the cycle routes. instead, we lounged around the hotel spa instead, with its gym, pool, sauna and steam rooms. all very plush and well stocked. all in all a very pleasant hotel. we'd go back again if returning to Hamburg. Very good boutique hotel. Cool layout and vibe, friendly and attentive staff and a short 5min walk to the Hamburg Messe if you have a conference there as I did. "Nice Design- Not so comfortable"
Positives: Very cool modern design, great bathroom, aesthetically pleasing room, clean, good restaurant and a cool bar downstairs. Negatives: Sheets are uncomfortable. No natural lighting in room (huge windows with blinds outside that block light and can't be moved).

Das SIDE ist ein Designer Hotel, das die Besten Jahre hinter sich hat. Bereits zum zweiten mal war ich nun bereits dort. Und ich muss sagen, geändert hat sich nichts. Leider. Auch in den Suiten hat sich nichts geändert, ausser, dass man noch mehr gebrauchsspuren sieht. In den Duschen und bei den Waschbecken hat es noch die Halterungen der Seifenschalen. […] jedoch sucht man die Schale vergebens dazu. Die Heizung kann nur Zentral gesteuert werden und wenn man es etwas wärmer will, muss man den Techniker beordern. Sobald es wärmer wird, hört man dieses, denn die Klimaanlage klappert... Woren man gar nichts aussetzten kann, ist das Frühstücksbuffet, das ist 1A. Alles in allem, kann ich das SIDE nicht mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen, denn auch auf die Reklamation beim Check-Out habe ich nichts mehr gehört. Leer más

Nyt spændende design hotel centralt beliggende tæt ved operaen og Alster søerne. God spiserestaurant og hype bar med mange gæster udefra.
Hyggelig hotell, god frokost, sentral beliggenhet. Personalet var imøtekommende.
Personalet på Hotel Side udviste stor servicevenlighed. Både ved receptionen og i restauranten. Fantastisk steak. God morgenrestaurant, men dyr.

"SIDE Hotel ligger perfekt tæt på centrum."
Vi overnattede på SIDE Hotel i.f.b. med en tur til Julemarkederne i Hamburg og her ligger hotellet perfekt . Ligeledes er afstanden god til alle de spændende butikker i centrum. Eneste minus var at spa-badet og poolen var kold og morgenmaden var meget dyr på hotellet. Ganske tæt på hotellet ligger en god bager hvor der kan købes morgenmad til langt […] billigere penge. Kult hotell i den beste delen av Hamburg. Gangavstand til veldig bra shopping og julemarked. Moderne rom og god plass. Litt hard seng, men ikke så ille at det ikke går for en natt eller tre. Flot hotel, dejligt med valet parking og bagageservice. Lækkert poolområde, dog kunne varm spa ønskes. Masser af håndklæder og badekåber til rådighed. Godt hotel hvis man har børn i skolealderen med.
