In this outstanding hotel, the location could not be more centrally located to anything you might wish to do in Florence. The staff is friendly and professional in a classic hospitality style. The quality and variety of the included breakfast was far beyond my expectations. The internet is charged in 3, 5, & 20, hour packages, but that is actual internet time not a 24 hour expiration period, i.e. you are only billed for what you use. There is no need to search any further for a hotel in Florence, just book here, you will be glad you did.

Pleasant room,helpful staff,super location

The hotel is located in the heart of Florence, within walking distance of all major historical sites. The staff was very friendly, and the room very clean. A bit on the pricey side, but overall, this was a wonderful hotel.

We spent 3 days at the Pierre and every aspect met or exceeded our expectations. The location can't be beat. It's on a quiet street that really is steps away from literally everything. We found the staff well informed and friendly and the public rooms gracious and comfortable. Our room was well decorated with excellent fixtures including a very comfortable bed. (not always the case in Italy). Overall we had an excellent experience and look forward to returning on our next trip to Florence.

The Hotel is in a great location, 5 mins from the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi. Close to shopping too, so its really convenient to drop things off at the Hotel during the day. The room we had was a bit small but sufficient for our 4 nts stay. Continental Breakfast was provided, but for extras the price was a bit steep at 3Euros for an egg.

excellent location, staff was very helfpul, room very nice -- 3 people stayed quite comfortably. worth the stay -- would definitely stay here again.

We recently traveled to all the major cities in Italy. This was our favorite hotel along the way: the rooms were large, the service excellent and the location allowed us to walk to all major attractions. I highly recommend this hotel. The price was somewhat high, but I think worth it.

This hotel is well located on the North-Side of Florence within a few minutes walk of the Duomo, and near to one of the prime shopping streets. The room that we had was unusually large for an Italian hotel and the bathroom was also well sized. (Although my friend, whio had stayed at the hotel before, said not all rooms are as large). The staff were extremely helpful and cleanliness was good. The breakfast was satisfactory but not inspiring, however certainly acceptable for the hotels rating. Would definately go back and stay in this hotel again for good service and great location for the price.

Clean, comfortable, central, only drawback was very poor quality hairdryers.

Central location. Quiet. Very clean. Good bathroom. Only dissapointment was that you had to pay for wifi. Otherwise highly recommended hotel.

Hotel was reasonably priced, had a great location, and breakfast was provided. The staff was friendly and helpful in every way. Room was not large, but well appointed and clean.

We had to laugh about the hotel key -- it weighs about a pound. Think paperweight with key dangling off the end. The hotel was great. We slept like rocks, so the bed (although firm and was two twin beds pushed together) must have been ok! We had a somewhat noisy room as we must have overlooked where the garbage is thrown into the dumpster. And we had the window open to let in a breeze, so we heard everything. (Just a reminder, there are no screens on windows in Italy! The window is either open or shut.) The front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant. We signed up for internet (not free) for a certain number of hours, and didn't feel that the price was out-of-line. Both the room and the bathroom were somewhat small but we didn't mind -- who comes to Florence to sit in their room? And, it was tastefully decorated -- quite pleasant. Breakfast was included and was great -- they had a nice selection including hot items. It was nice not to have to go hunt up a restaurant before starting the sightseeing day. The location was also nice -- within walking distance of just about everything! I would recommend taking a taxi from the train station, as on arrival the streets seem somewhat confusing, and it was nice to be driven right to the front door of the hotel. We also took a taxi back at the end of our trip for convenience. Although you could walk and drag your luggage, we thought it was just a little too far with all the bags. We would definitely stay at the Hotel Pierre again!!! Location, breakfast, rooms were fine...what's not to like?

We loved that it was close to everything we wanted to see. The price was very reasonable and the rooms were great!!!

absolutely ideally located for all the best shops, the best gelateria and next door to the essential florentine cafe - perfect for people watching over an espresso. an architecturally handsome and comfortable hotel with very attentive, friendly staff (the only downside being that we felt it necessary to pay to upgrade our room. this was due to there being no view and no bath in the standard room and the shower being very small). we would definitely stay here again on our next florentine adventure, we doubt there is anywhere better for the price. we had a fabulous time, thanks hotel pierre!

The hotel was perfectly located, central to everything. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfeast was more than adequate.

A great hotel in a fabulous location, right in the centre of Florence. All the galleries, museums, plazas, restaurants and shopping were right on the doorstep. The hotel staff were very friendly and keen to help with anything from gallery reservations to restaurant recommendations. No iron was provided, and it is against hotel policy to allow guests to use an iron in their room! The only option was to send clothes out to be laundered - not great for a weekend stay, so we bought an iron and improvised!!!

Hotel was very nice. Breakfast in the morning was probably the best I had during a 2 week vacation. My only complaint was that the morning room service (maid) could be very loud, slamming doors etc. The location is great, very quiet location. Across the street is a very lovely restaurant that is good and price was also good. Has a very lovely small bar after a long day. Was out late one night 3 women and felt very safe.

Great staff! Always willing to help you find the perfect restaurant, give direction and guidence or pour you a glass of wine! Breakfast was wonderful in the charming little dinning room. Only 44 rooms so no tour groups! Italians stay there! 2 blocks to everything but shopping which is just out the door wether you want designer's best or bargin with the high quality at the local stalls on the square! Our room was wonderful and incredibly reasonably. We just didn't look out the window which opened to an 8X8 shaft. Next time we will upgrade a bit!

Very expensive compared to Rome. I felt safe at all times. Great location to all the great shops in Florence. Great places to eat nearby within walking distance. The hotel staff was very nice and always was willing to help with reservations to sights and dinner. The elevator was the size of a shoe box. very tiny. The hallways were very, very noisy. A lady sang to us at about 4pm from the street below every day. Our view from our one small window was most disappointing. We viewed another guest's room and we saw and heard everything that was happening in their room at all times. Not desirable. Our bathroom was nice. Tiny shower. No tub. clean overall. We stayed during Dec and we were always hot in the room. Breakfast was not that great. Fresh fruit was old.

Great little hotel. Perfect position for sightseeing. Superior room was comfortable even though the bathroom was a little on the small side. Flew into Pisa caught the coach and walked to the hotel. Didn't need a taxi once and didn't get ripped off as in Rome.

No question the staff made the three day stay a warm, friendly experience. They made all requested arrangements in minutes and made getting around places in Florence and Tuscanny very easy. They were warm, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and rooms are a very good size. Location is absolutely fantastic and you are minutes from all important points of interest. Rooms are quiet and have electric shades for room darkening. Beautifully appointed lobby, rooms and halls this is a very pleasant hotel. The bar was excellent and prooved useful to meet with friends before dinner. I would go back again in a minute and hope to next year.

This is a fantastic hotel. We are demanding and would have to say the service, size and quality of the rooms was supberb. Friendly staff always helpful and right in the centre of Florence, but tucked away from the noisy bits so plenty of P and Q. Recommend this Hotel highly.

My partner and I stayed at the Hotel Pierre for one night in the middle of a whirlwind trip around Italy and France. Our room was large and comfortable, if a bit dated. Like every hotel I've vitisted in Europe, it doesn't put much emphasis on pillows -- why are they always so flat and hard??? That said, you can't beat the location on a lovely, quiet street behind the Piazza de la Republica and the hotel staff were great.

The Pierre is in one of the best locations in Florence. The staff was most helpful and charming. The breakfast was better than most in Italy. The rooms were a little tired and need updating but very comfortable and bigger than most. I would definitely stay there again and would reccommend it to anyone.

excellent, room was large, fairly plain, but nice, quite and very clean- a little dark on the lighting, but was great!!!!! Breakfast was easy, staff very friendly!!!!

Nice place, very clean and a fantastic location in the Historic Center of Firenze. I would highly recommend it. The breakfast was excellent as well.

Great location in middle of historic district and close to major sites. Very friendly staff and helpful with dinner and touring reservations. Rooms: Pros: clean and spacious, quiet, small issues resolved immediately. Cons: no "room with a view", small closet shower. Would recommend.

Cet hotel ne mérite pas ses 4 étoiles. La chambre était beaucoup plus petite que sur les photos du site. Le site internet donne une impression de luxe qui n'est pas conforme à la réalité. La chambre donnait sur une petite cour sombre. Le ménage n'était pas fait correctement. J'ai signalé à l'arrivée à la réception une mouche morte sur le lit et des moutons sous le lit et les meubles. Je suis resté 3 jours. L'aspirateur n'a pas été passé car les moutons n'ont jamais été enlevés !!! Le mobilier est on ne peut plus simple et vieillot. Pas d'écran plat, un vieux poste de TV démodé. Personnel agréable cependant et petit déjeuner bon et copieux. Bon point : en plein centre de Florence. Si je dois retourner à Florence, j'irai dans un autre hotel.

Perfekt läge med närhet till allt. Ganska mycket ljud från gatan dock, så om ni vill sova i tysta miljöer se till att få ett rum som inte vetter ut mot gatan.

gode værelser, højt til loftet, ingen gulvtæpper, morgenmad ok og frem for alt super belliggenhed med gå afstand til det hele.

rien à redire, si ce n'est l'absence de baignoire dans notre chambre. Un détail.

Hotel tres bien situé dans le centre de Florence a deux pas des sites de visite. L'accueil est chaleureux et le personnel pret a aider pour organiser le sejour. Couloir bruyant, la porte de la chambre pourrait etre insonoriser. Petit dejeuner quelconque et la salle à manger est tres petite.

Dieses Hotel kann ich jedem empfehlen! Die Lage ist traumhaft! Sehr nahe zu allen wichtigsten Sehenswüridgkeiten der Stadt! Service war wunderbar, nur das Frühstück war nicht so wie ich mir vorgestellt habe, aber trotzdem "noch" lecker:-)
