Hotel estupendo en todos los aspectos, salvando la mala insonorización de las ventanas de la habitación.

Su situación es EXCELENTE, muy cerca de todo para ir caminando. El hotel, el bar y el desayuno muy bien. La habitación muy limpia aunque sin lujos. En general, MUY satisfechos con la elección.

Bien, sólo que no incluían gratuitamente internet, como se promocionaba en la página de hoteles.com, Sin embargo al advertirlos de esta situación nos dieron un código de Wi-fi para cumplir con lo ofrecido.

I enjoyed the stay at Jurys Inn. The location was prefect and provided an easy access to all the sightseeing spots in the city centre. The room was of good size and clean. The breakfast was really nice - lots of selections and there was Scottish breakfast to order. The members of staff were very helpful.

Good hotel, slightly strange to find reception in another building, had a room next to lift which was a bit noisy but took earplugs

Was a great cost for the type of hotel and location it was in. Will be staying there again a few times this year if we get the same deal.

Good location, right off the Royal Mile. 20 minute walk to Edinburgh Castle or Holyrood and not too far from hop on buses. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. Hotel has no room service, if you want, call in your order and they call you to pick it up when ready. Odd, but it saves you a service charge! Also, you have to use one of your room keys to […] run the electricity, which is fine, but if you leave it in when you go out (for example, to charge your camera batteries) the maids take your key and you have to get a new one . Other than that, the staff were very helpful and friendly, even let us check in 8 hours early. We stayed there for just one night in early January. The hotel was clean, neat and convenient to the Royal Mile. Our room was on the 6th floor, facing the rear of the hotel. It was quiet and clean. Altogether it was very satisfactory.

We stayed at the Jury's Inn primarily for its location, and because we got a good deal. However, this hotel has seen better days: our (first) room had a serious mold problem around the windows. In the end we had to move rooms anyway, as the hot tap in our bath got stuck on! The hotel's attempts to resolve this were laughable; they did not appear to […] have a handyman or even a toolkit. By the time we moved rooms the bathtap had been unceasingly gushing hot water for over an hour. Breakfast was also not of high quality and certainly would not have been worth paying extra for. I could not fault the hotel's location but would rate the quality of its rooms and facilities as being below that of a Travelodge or Premier Inn. Leer más

Easy to be able to walk to everywhere, but more motel than hotel, very busy and not large enough area for breakfast most mornings had to eat in the bar area, but apart from that no complaints

Staff were extremely help full the only down side was that when we went down for breakfast it was chaos and there was not enough seating for everyone we went down late so as to miss the rush but unfortunatly so did everyone else but to be fair to the management and staff they cleared tables as quickly as possible . Hotel in fantastic location for easy access to all areas of interest in Edinburgh . One side of the hotel you have few minutes walk to princess st shopping other side of hotel short walk up a close your right on the famous Royal Mile fantastic. Staff very friendly rooms very clean and comfy.

If you are a light sleeper, forget this hotel. Road, train and thin walls will keep you up all night

Great hotel if you want to b in the middle of Edinburgh, where it all happens. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times

Good hotel. Clean. Polite & helpful staff. Room 224 has a window that doesn't shut properly which led to excessive noise. We'd still recommend the hotel, just check the windows as soon as you're allocated a room!

Perfectly ok as a business crash pad. Well located. Reception staff seemed more interested in gossiping to one another upon arrival but once we got going check in ok. Room small but adeqaute and comfortable. Opted for the breakfast. Morning staff poor and food frankly vile! Eat out. I'd expect hot food and good service at 07.30. I arrived at 11.00am and was checked into a room straight away. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the train station and central to all attractions in Edinburgh. I have stayed in Jury's Inns before and again was not disappointed with the service and friendliness of the staff. Excellent value and I would highly recommend this hotel in Edinburgh.

Close to rail and most attractions. Clean room. However the shower is quite small. Value for the price I paid.

Very comfortable hotel in great location with pleasant staff. Across road from main train station and very short walk up slight incline (from back of hotel) direct onto Royal mile. Wear comfortable shoes for walking around the city. Lots of steep banks. Plenty of stops in local watering holes will revive.

The staff at this hotel could not be any nicer, From going to receiption to leaving the following day every member of staff was lovey. when we arrived we mentioned to the lady on recieption that we would be going to the Dungions she proceeded to track down other staff who had bus tickets as they had £6.00 off the admission price this saved us £12.00. The […] only negative about the hotel is the bed was hard. The hot water was not working in the morning so we went for breakfast and when we returned the hot water was back on so we could shower. when we checked out receiption did not charge us the £17. for breakfast due to the water problem. Hotel location was perfect for the station, Edinburgh Castle and shopping areas/restaurants. However, the room was basic with no minibar or safe. The shower area was a little cramped and hot running water was not the best! The hotel seemed a little dated but despite this, was ok for a short stay if you are willing to pay for this.

Great location!! Close to Waverly Station, close to pick-up point to do the city tours, and to the Royal Mile. We were also given a castle view from our room, which made our stay wonderful. Staff are all friendly and helpful.

My wife and I were touring Scotland by car so parking was important . The hotel is very close to all the main sights of the old Town, and they also provide for parking relatively close in a reasonably secure car park, at discounted rates . Arrived at 9am and got a room straight away which was very convenient. Location excellent and would stay in Jurys again

Room was adequate, if not underwhelming. No safe or minibar in the room, which was also quite small, located in an annex to the main building. It was OK for my biz trip, especially as it is walking distance to the center and station, but I would have been disappointed if I were on a personal/ romantic trip. Clean though and staff were nice enough. Location […] is very convenient although in not a very pretty street (scaffolding/construction all around). Building is ugly compared to the surroundings: a concrete block in the middle of EDI's beautiful medieval charm. No heat in hotel room, no face cloths to wash face,body (they do not supply). Room was over-priced for what you received.

Very welcoming at reception and all housekeeping staff helpful throughout our stay. Given a room with fabby views, but traffic going home from pubs and clubs very noisy and could be heard for a good part of night and early morning through the windows. Children enjoyed choosing from a range of goodies at breakfast. Bar very busy friday and saturday with […] large parties and not so much of a family meal atmosphere. There was no intervention by staff when things got really rowdy !! There are many fabulous restaurants in Edinburgh and probably would not choose to go to bar again. Overall we had an enjoyable stay. Booked this hotel only because of location - at side of Waverley train station and walking distance from Waverley bridge where the cheap and modern Airlink bus to and from the airport stops (3.50GBP one way, 6GBP round trip - 25 minute trip). Could have gotten nicer hotel for same price but wanted to be able to walk and avoid taxis to and fro. Alleyway […] behind hotel leads to steps that take you right to Royal Mile. Walk to everything. Otherwise hotel is not that great - perfectly fine though. Breakfast was included in the rate even though it didn't say so on the website or on Hotels.com/ Buffet with hot food - lots of selection but eggs tasted strange. Dining room more reminiscent of a cafeteria style restaurant rather than ambiance or charm. Same with hotel room. Internet not free but they have 2 computer stations in the lobby that are coin operated..I think 1 GBP for 20 minutes...or maybe an hour. Good hairdryer in room has a lot of power but annoying that it doesn't stay on...you have to keep pressing the button to get it to stay on.
