HM Jaime III Hotel

We stayed at the Jaime III Hotel as a party of three couples for a weekend break. This hotel had been selected having read various reviews and it matched, or exceded, the best of them! Following previous advice, we caught the Number 1 bus from the Airport which dropped us right outside the hotel - €2 each at the time. The hotel was very clean, comfortable […] and the bedrooms we had were spacious and well appointed. The buffet breakfast was very good with a wide selection of food and drink. The hotel is located in a central position which suited our purposes for sight-seeing and relaxing. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - providing travel and dining information. We ate at three different restaurants, all within a short walk from the hotel, each of which was different and all served excellent food. When returning to Palma this will be the first hotel we shall look at for availability and we would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone planning a trip to Palma. Leer más

Well situated for the Palma sights, very modern decor. Very good, helpful front desk staff. Breakfast a bit lacking in food availability, but not enough to lose a star. We stayed as a family of four and all enjoyed it.

We had a brilliant stay at the Hotel Jaime III – it is a perfectly located close to everything. The room was very nice and spacious with confortable beds. It even had toothbrush/ toothpaste kits; shaver; sewing kit; comb etc. in Bathroom just in case you may have forgotten anything. Breakfast was very good and there was something there for everyone […] including Champagne if you wanted it! The Gin bar next to the hotel was also very good if you like a G&T. Would also recommend you visit the Abaco bar for a very different experience – it’s hard to find but check it out on Google before you go. It is very expensive but go and have one drink it is like an indoor Oasis with falling petals and baskets of fruit with an outside garden in the middle. Leer más

Everything about the hotel positive. Only criticism... it doesn't have a pool.

Good situation - Bedrooms at the front would be [preferable to the ones at the back. Very good breakfast.

the hotel, facilities, rooms and location are all fantastic. Good area, coulden't ask for better. The only issue I faced was upon booking I asked for a front facing room with a balcony due to it being a special occasion (anniversary). On the first night we were placed at the back of the hotel with a terrible view of a concrete wall. Did not mind so […] much due to our late arrival, but upon asking to be moved the following day, the woman I spoke two was reluctant to move us, asking "are you sure, its only for one day??". After a little persistence, I was advised the room wouldent be available for another 6 hours due to one not being ready yet. I waited, leaving my bags with the front desk with an uneasy feeling. Upon returning, the staff had changed over, and were a lot more helpful and had even taken the bags to the new room for me. This restored my confidence in the hotel, although the initial lady that I spoke to tarnished an otherwise good impression, as I felt like I was an annoyance instead of a valued guest. But, that aside, everything else was perfect and id stay here again. The hotel is located right outside the bus stop from the airport, so great for convenience. 10-15 minutes walk to the cathedral and the main square, and very close to other landmarks. I have never stayed at a hotel before and been charged for the use of the safe in the room. I was not advised of this on check in and was then hounded for payment even though I was not checking out for 4 days! There was work being carried out that started early in the morning so a sleep in was out of the question and as a result of the work sections […] of the staircase were sealed off, this would have been ok if it were not for the fact there is only 1 lift to service the hotel. Obviously this was used extensively and being on the 6th floor I had to avail of it however had to wait 20 minutes on 1 occasion until there was room. Leer más

Stayed for 3 days in May. Hotel was clean and service was fantastic. Perfectly situated for the main shopping area and the cathedral and a short stroll to the Mariner. All in all it made for a fabulous stay.

Excellent site for hotel-just beside the main shopping area and close to the old town for all the lovely restaurants.

We were staying for our wedding anniversary and previous to arrival we asked for a balcony and double bed. This was provided including a bottle of Cava on our arrival. the balcony was huge and the room was larger than we expected and apart from the bathroom which was looking shabby and in need of a refurbishment, we were very pleased with the quality […] of the room. The air conditioning was tempremental and so we had to open the window to allow air in. The hotel was arty and a bit strange. The carpets in the hall looked dirty or stained but we think they were part of the design. Restaurant was excellent and very good value. We ate there twice plus one breakfast. The Mallorquians also ate there which was a good sign. The hotel is a very good location for shopping, sightseeing and the airport bus which stopped outside the hotel. This is a typical new but low service hotel for Europe. Good location but very little in the way of support services and kind of minimalist. Nothing but a front desk (no concierge service). Rooms a clean but very small and poor air conditioning in rooms.

this hotel is of a very good standard and staff (especially reception) are professional and helpful. the gym has only limited equipment and a pool rather than just aplunge pool would have been a good addition! we were initially given a room at the back of the hotel which you should try to avoid as it was a little dark and the view was of depressing […] backs of concrete buildings . however they did give us a better room on the front the next day and it was much nicer in every way. I would highly recommend this hotel! We had three beds in our room and the room was large and comfortable, esp. considering that many hotel rooms in Europe feel incredibly cramped. this hotel is well locted. we were not given a warm welcome, in fact the woman at the desk was quite rude. the room we booked was not available and the staff didn't really care much. the layout of the room was not very comfortable. the art work all through the hotel is rather interesting if some what bizarre. i was not happy about a 3 euro charge per […] night to use the safe in the room. the spa with the heated chairs was a bonus. The hotel is well situated just on the edge of Palma centre. The room we had was spacious and very clean, the bed was large and very comfortable. We bought breakfast one morning and were surprised by the excellent quality. One small problem was, there is only on lift, and lots of people using it! Trevligt hotell med bra läge runt hörnet till shoppinggatan Avinguda Jaume III i Palma och även resten av shoppingstråken runt Placa Major och avinguda Jaume II. Frukost ingår.

Å reise til Palma på førjulshopping er veldig hyggelig. Da er det flott å bo så sentralt på et veldig bra hotell. HM Jaime III er et hotell jeg vil anbefale på det sterkeste.

Uitstekend hotel op een prima locatie op loopafstand van de bezienswaardigheden in de oude stad van Palma. Diverse bushaltes liggen bij het hotel en ook het hoofdstation van Palma voor bus, trein en metro liggen op loopafstand.

Stilfuldt hotel i centrum af Palma. Tæt til havnen og tæt på den gamle bydel. Venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Kan varmt anbefales.

Toppen! Det räcker.

Fräscht hotell, hjälpsam personal, centralt, nära till allt - shopping, restauranger, busstationer etc. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell - önska rum högre upp (en del trafik på gatan).

Perfekt centralt läge med närhet till gamla stan och många trevliga barer och restauranger. Trevlig personal.

Nok et vellykket opphold i Palma. Hotellet oppgraderte oss til en suite med takterrasse, helt fantastisk! Hyggelig personale i resepsjonen. God mat og drikke. Kort vei til alt.

Preis-/ Leistungverhältnis äusserst gut. Das Hotel ist mit viel Geschmack dekoriert. Unser Zimmer war auf der 7. Etage und auf den Innenhof orientiert. Das einzige Geräusch bei offenem Fenster war ab und zu ein Kompressor von einer Klimaanlage. Es war äußerst groß und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Da nur ein Lift vorhanden ist sollte man in Stosszeit einige […] Minuten einplanen für den vertikalen Trip. Wir haben alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Stadt zu Fuss besucht und die 10-Fahrtenkarte die man im Tabakgeschäft um die Ecke günstig kaufen kann blieb unbenutzt. Leer más

Store rom. Virket å være nylig oppusset. Kort gåavstand til det meste i Palma by. Eneste negative med rommet var dårlig trykk i dusjen. God frokost med bord ute også.

Ett fräscht hotell med ett mycket bra läge. Hur smidigt som helst att åka från flygplatsen till hotellet. Lokal buss nr 1 går hela vägen och stannar precis utanför. 2 euro för den resan, riktigt bra! Jag rekomenderar detta hotell.

Fint hotell sentralt i Palma, kort vei ned til gamlebyen og katedralområdet. Litt lytt, litt dårlig trykk i dusjen, men det er vanlig her nede. Senga kunne også vært bedre, men alt i alt et bra hotell. Gratis trådløst på rommet funket greit. Men TV=betaling. Lite stereoanlegg var pluss ;) Corte Ingles rett rundt hjørnet med stor matbutikk i kjeller […] en. Leer más

Vi hade bara bokat en natt på hotellet fick därför ett rum på första våningen mot gatan, mycket trafikbuller från gatan som störde nattetid då vi bodde fredag-lördag. Rummet kändes väldigt ofrächt sängöverkastet var smutsigt och hade ett brännhål från en cigarett. Gardinerna var smutsiga. Badrummet litet och trångt. Aircondition på rummet fungerade […] men hade ett enormt biljud på hög nivå. Läget är perfekt nära till allt inom gångavstånd. Men rummet kändes så ofrächt. Om jag skulle bo här igen skulle jag se till att få ett rum högre upp i hotellet. Leer más

Hotellets beliggenhet er helt perfekt, shopping rett rundt hjørnet, kort vei til buss som går til strendene i begge retninger av Palma, masse gode restauranter i gangavstand. Meget hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Vi fikk ett av rommene da vi ankom kl. 10.00 slik at vi kunne legge fra oss all bagasjen. Nydelig frokost og store deilige rom! Hotellet var superlekkert! Full valuta for pengene. Store, luftige rom, gode senger, rent og pent. Nydelig kunst, bilder, installasjoner og bibliotek i hotellet. Deilig spa med sauna, tyrisk bad og lite basseng. Kort vei til severdigheter og til shopping eventyret. Ekstra pluss for god frokostbuffet og champagnen. Reise gjerne tilbake!

Hotellet holder en utmerket standard og har veldig sentral beliggenhet. Eneste minus er at veien utenfor hadde mye trafikk. Dette var ikke spesielt sjenerende i 7. etasje, men kan kanskje bli det om man bor lengre ned. Fin frokost og gangavstand til alt.

Gut erreichbar mit der Bislinie 1 vom Flughafen. Schönes Haus mit guter Ausstattung und Design. Kunst verschönert die Etagen und Flure wie auch die Zimmer. Elegantes modernes Ambiente hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Personal sehr höflich und aufmerksam. Einkaufsstraße um die Ecke führt auch ins historische Centrum. kurze Wege.
