Chose this hotel because of very early morning flight. Excellent choice. Breakfast served from 4am with shuttle service to airport every 20 minutes.
The Hotel is owned by Restel who own the franchises for the nearby Holiday Inn and Cumulus Hotels. Service by a regular free bus ( every 20mins ) service from the nearby Vantaa airport ( last bus is 0120hrs in the morning.) Hotel rooms are looking a little dated now, but comfortable and clean with air con and good soundproofing, excellent sauna and […] pool too. Breakfast buffet was very good. If you have an early flight from Vantaa this would be an ideal hotel choice. You can, by using the Finnair express bus service use it for business trips into Helsinki....at a push, however you will soon tire of coming up and down from the city...even if the ride costs just over €6 and takes only 35minutes. "Ugly hotel"
Though it's not actually all bad, if you care at all about aesthetics in your hotel I don't recognize this one. I stayed here because every other hotel in Helsinki and the airport were fully booked, so I had no choice. It wasn't the worst hotel, and it's better than a hostel, but it's just ugly inside, and not very well laid out. Garish primary colors […] and cinder block hallway walls. No real desk space. Hard to find a place to plug in your laptop. I'm kind of shocked at how good the ratings for this hotel are in general. "Terrible Customer Service..."
This facility was unwilling to provide a room credit for victims of the ongoing Finn Air Srike. I suspect a fair amount of their business is based on overnight stays in Helsinki. This is unacceptable, To work with displaced travelers seems to be the human thing not to mention good business practice. Buyer Beware.
Breakfast was very good including gluten free bread. The room was clean however the bathroom is dated and had a 'drain smell' coming from the shower drain. The walls are thin and could hear noises that you shouldn't normally hear in a hotel room. If we had to stay out by the airport again would try another hotel.

"A good choice for flight transfer"
The room is comfortable and spacious. Free shuttle just outside Terminal 2. Lots of parkng space. A good variety of food at breafast buffet. Not have time to try the swimming pool.

I stayed for one night at the Cumulus Airport Hotel in early July 2009. The hotel is quite modern, and my room offered some interesting chair/textile designs and bold fabrics, an extremely comfortable matress, as well as heated towel racks and other amenities in the en suite bathroom. Breakfast buffet was diverse and substantial, staff members were […] helpful, and the free airport shuttle serves this hotel every 20-30 minutes, allowing for easy airport transit. I found the evening receptionist to be extremely helpful when I arrived fairly late at night from a flight from London, and was also pleased to learn that I could store my large suitcase at the hotel for a few days while I visited other regions of Finland. Vastaanotto receptionissa oli ystävällinen ja asiantunteva. Huoneet olivat suuret ja viihtyisät. Ruoka ravintolassa oli hyvää, palvelu samoin. Kuljetus lentokentälle toimi myös moitteettomasti.

"Yhden yön yöpyminen"
Olin ensimmäisen kerran kyseisessä hotellissa, ehdin vielä saunaan, vaikka tulin 20.30 kentältä. Kuljetus on ihan hyvä myös, aamulla pääsin nopeasti kentälle. Aamupala runsas, sillä pärjäs pitkälle. Huone siisti ja hiljainen, nukuin hyvin aamuun. Kiitos tulen varmaan uudelleenkin!!!

Tulin keskiyön aikoihin lentokentältä talon bussilla. Olin ollut toista viikkoa aika rähjäisessä hotellissa ulkomailla, ja toivoin vain saavani nukkua kunnolla ja peseytyä. Toiveeni täyttyivät ja paljon enemmän! Nukahdin heti vuoteeseen päästyäni ja heräsin lempeään herätykseen. Sain gluteenittoman monipuolisen aamupalan! Se oli mahtavaa ja ainutkertaista […] Suomessa. "Good surprise!"
I arrived early to the hotel, before rooms were cleaned. But I was offered sauna and shower facilities, including an indoor pool, to wash off and get ready for the day, before I got my room. The sauna, shower and pool facilities are surprisingly big, and very comfortable. There is a free bus-shuttle from the airport to the hotel. And to get to Helsinki-city, […] you can take the bus just outside the hotel. Very easy. The staff were very polite and helpful. Especially the night staff, Elina, who knocked on my door when I didn't answer the wake-up call. I would have missed my flight if she hadn't. Very helpful and service-minded. Thank you. The hotel is perfect when flying out early, like I was, or when visiting the city, since local communications are so easy. Rooms are a bit worn, but very clean. You get what you pay for in room standard, but the facilities in the hotel are a great extra (wich I really didn't expect). I'll be going back there, when flying through, absolutely. Leer más

Rantasipi-hotelli lähellä lentokenttää oli rauhallinen, sisustus suomalainen, retrohenkisyyttä kuvissa, huone miellyttävä väreiltään ja sänky hyvä, aamiainen monipuolinen, jopa aamuneljältä siitä pääsi nauttimaan, ja hotellin palvelu oli iloisen ystävällistä.
