Céntrico, buen desayuno, habitaciones reformadas recientemente. Personal amable. Habitación un poco pequeña y no funcionaba el wifi en la habitación aunque sí en el lobby y gratuitamente. Hotel recomendable.

Muy buen hotel, cuatro estrella, muy nuevo y en perfecto estado.Tiene gimnasio y aparcamiento.La única crítica sería respecto a su ubicación, pero tampoco es nada problemático, puesto que hay una estación de metro (linea directa al centro) a escasos 600 metros del hotel. Hotel muy recomendable.

Estuvimos 3 noches en Agosto de 2011 en el Steigenberger Hotel Hamburg y nada más hacer el check in notas que es un Hotel diferente, donde el cliente es lo primero y recibe un trato exquisito. El personal de recepción es muy cualificado y muy atento. Cualquier contratiempo lo resolvían sobre la marcha. El Hotel está muy bien situado para ir caminando a cualquier parte del centro de Hamburgo. Solamente se echa de menos WI-FI gratuito en las habitaciones y un set de baño más completo para ser un Hotel de 5 estrellas.

Este hotel está bastante bien ubicado, cerca del Ayuntamiento, St. Michel y St. Paulí, aunque en una zona tranquila, mezcla de oficinas y residencial. Muy bien cuidado, espaciosa habitación, muy limpia por cierto. Estuvimos muy bien en este hotel y lo recomendamos.

"Smolka in Hamburg - a ricjh and convenient locati"
Smolka is a small, stylish hotel in upmarket suburb of Hamburg. It has the charm of a boutique hotel, and some of the minor inconveniences, such as unexpected stairs in the entry. I used both subway stops that are about a minute's walk from Das Smolka to go to various sights. Depending on where you are going that eliminates a lot of hassles. I also enjoyed the walk to the lake which takes about 10 minutes. I have special dietary needs to require me to avoid gluten and dairy, and I found a health food store and helpful vegetarian […] restaurant very close to Das Smolka. We were in Hamburg for a wedding and choose the hotel because it was the nearest to the Church and the wedding venue and we were not disappointed. We were happy with our room and the location was wonderful. Close to everything one must see on a trip to Hamburg. "Das Smolka great location - quiet but easy access"
Das Smolka is located in a very quiet suburb but has easy access to local shops, restaurants and the metro. Close to a beautiful park and lake. Close also to sports events in the Sporthalle Hamburg. Rooms were large, very clean and well furnished - one slight 'problem' was the beautiful chandelier shook when the people in the room above walked about […] and the noise of the glass was actually loud enough to wake us up! Breakfast was excellent and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful with advice about the local area. The hotel is slightly out of the city center, but it's a wonderful area and very easily accessible by subway. The building itself is a bit old, but the rooms are modernly updated and sparkling clean. It's a fantastic place to stay in a gorgeous city. I would most definitely return the next time I am in Hamburg.

Fantastic hotel. Very clean and cosy neighborhood; lovely place to take a stroll at night. Extremely polite and professional staff. Beautiful old house with very classy rooms. Very close to subway and a short hop to the middle of the city. I was really impressed, and will recommend it to anyone coming to Hamburg

I selected this hotel because of its location, just near the U bahn Klosterstern with direct connection from airport and city centre much cheaper than taxi. The hotel has nice large rooms, the staff are very helpful, good choice for breakfast and well stocked bar. Definately stay again and recommend for others.

I was very pleased with this boutique style hotel. It was the elegance of Waldorf Astoria blended with the chic of a "W". Located in Havesterude and just a couple train stops from central Hamburg it's located in a very nice and upscale neighborhood. There are many shops and restaurants nearby, including a high quality restaurant within the hotel. The […] staff were not only very, very pleasant and courteous but quite friendly. The room was very large, with a high ceiling, windows that open and a very large bathroom. My only suggestion would be a change to the shower curtain. It's a very unique setup where the shower curtain isn't installed far enough out to the edge of the tub. I'd suggest they replace the current shower-rod with the new "U" shaped version - to avoid the shower curtain touching you while showering. Overall, what a great experience and I'll certainly stay here every visit to Hamburg! (which is typically a few times per year) Do NOT think of staying anywhere else in Hamburg! The train is VERY safe and just at the end of the street from the hotel with incredibly easy access into city center (again, just a couple stops away). Leer más

We were in Hamburg for a week end to visit our daughter who was studying there. We were really pleased with the location of the hotel, very close to the excellent public transport system and to shops, restaurants and cafe life. The hotel staff recommended a nearby Italian restaurant ( 4 minutes walk) and we had a super dinner there one night. The bedroom […] was adequate and the only complaint we would have was that breakfast was an additional €14 each.Luckily there are several restaurants within a few minutes walk with great breakfasts for much less. "Hamburg at Easter"
Superb location, in classy residential area close to the Alster and, using the train, to the Centre. Large room, large and very comfortable bathroom. A buffet breakfast so rich and varied that would actually make for a brunch, even if I think the price of 14 euro was a bit too high.

"Eleganz und Gemütlichkeit"
Upgraded in das De Luxe Einzelzimmer, betreut von sehr zuvorkommendem Hotelpersonal, habe ich mich in diesem eleganten und sehr gemütlichen Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt und werde auf jeden Fall wieder dort einkehren. Ein Genuss ist auch die wunderhübsche Lobby, die eine kleine Bibliothek und eine gemütliche Bar mit einschließt.

Wie in Hamburg oft üblich ist das Smolka ein hübsches, teilweise leicht abgewohntes Hotel. Das Frühstück ist mit 14 € recht teuer. In der nähreren Umgebung hat man jedoch die Möglichkeit ein preisgünstigeres und gutes Frühstück zu bekommen. Ist empfehlenswert.....

"Das Smolka - charmigt boende i flott stadsdel"
Das Smolka är ett personligt och charmigt litet hotell med trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Bodde i ett av de lite billigare och enklare "hostellrummen", där frukost ej ingick (betalade emellertid en tilläggsavgift sista morgonen för att testa den stora, varierande och mycket goda frukostbuffén). På rummet fanns det tillgång till minibar, kabel-tv (huvudsakligen […] tyskspråkiga kanaler), WLAN (som dock låg nere ibland) och ett nyrenoverat badrum. Däremot saknades luftkonditionering, vilket gjorde att rummet blev olidligt varmt under den första dagen då det var +28°C och vindstilla utomhus. Hotellet är beläget på en lugn gata i den trevliga och flotta stadsdelen Eppendorf, norr om Hamburgs centrum. Für den Preis ist das Hotel nicht auf dem neusten Stand. Besonders geräuschempfindliche Personen werden durch Nebengeräusche aus dem Badbereich, Flur im Schlaf gestört. Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht. Frühstück ist gut aber nicht im Hotelpreis inbegriffen.

Das Hotel liegt günstig in der Nähe zweier U-Bahn Haltestellen und vieler Parks, in sehr netter Umgebung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht uns den Aufenthalt mit einem Säugling zu erleichtern. Die Deluxe Zimmer sind empfehlenswert. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Tunnelbana tar ca 15 min (inkl väntetid för byte av linje) till shoppingcentrum och vattnet (ca 10 Euro med taxi). Fantastiska hus i området och kul att få inblick i hur lägenheterna ser ut på insidan då hotellet […] ligger i en av dessa bostadslängor. "Bra service"
Det var mycket bra service och väldigt modern och bra Frukostbuffé. Gratis parkering utomhus och i Garage får man betala en mindre summa . U-bahn station 150m från Hotellet för att snabbt ta sig in i Hamburg City.

Das Hotel ist in einem guten Zustand. Noch nicht alle Zimmer sind modern renoviert. Aber auch die älteren Zimmer sind in Ordnung. Sehr freundlicher Service in allen Bereichen. Sehr sauber. "Nie wieder"
Trotz Buchung Nichtraucher bekamen wir ein Raucherzimmer. Sehr altes und spartanisch eingerichtetes Zimmer. Schlechte Heizung. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer als auch im Bad war nicht gut. Spinnweben in allen Ecken.

Pænt hotel med service og lign. efter stjernerne. MEGET dyr morgenmad 14 euro for ikke særlig godt morgenbord er meget dyrt. Så derfor kan det bedre betale sig at betale ekstra for et dyrere hotel med mogenmad i prisen. Men ellers fin kvalitet og standard til prisen.

Das Zimmer war geräumig und gut ausgestattet, lag allerdings direkt hinter der Rezeption, so dass man alle Geräusche mitbekam. Den Koffer, den ich zur Aufbewahrung dort gelassen hatte, konnte ich am Nachmittag einfach aus einer offenen Nische neben der Rezeption holen. Erst nach längerer Wartezeit kam zufällig jemand.
