Great stay, quiet area, easy access to all Seattle hot spots. The breakfast is secong to none in the Continental category. Friendly staff and would stay there again in a heart beat.
"A Shocking Surprise"
The hotel looked great when we arrived late at night. The room looked fine, but we had 3 unwanted guests - 3 large spiders. They need to do a better job of pest control.
Thank you very much for letting us know about your not so satisfactory stay at our hotel. I can understand how shocking and unpleasant it must have been to find spiders in your room. Please accept my sincerest apologies for the discomfort that we caused you. I have asked our pest control company, my maintenance and housekeeping teams to do a thorough check on the guest room that you occupied to make sure that this does not happen to any of our future guests. Our pest control company does regular rounds of our hotel and usually does a great job ensuring that all kinds of pests are kept away from our property but we promise to do a better job with our pest control system. Again, my sincerest apologies for the discomfort. We hope that you will come and visit us again to see the improvements that we have made with our services and facilities.

"Nice stay"
Good stay.... except that the price is pretty expensive for what you get.
I am Always impressed with Silver Cloud and try to stay at one whenever I need to. This is the first time they didn't get all 5's because I spied some black curly hairs in the corner of the bath room which I cleaned up before my wife say them or it would be the last time we stayed at this hotel. I'm a little more forgiving.

The staff was very accommodating and personable. Breakfast was great...not your usual cold continental fare. Our room was very clean; nice big flat screen TV and comfortable king bed. Right off Hwy 520, close to everything!

It was a nice room. Close to the freeway so it made it easy to get to places in a timely manner. The staff was super friendly, very helpful and cheerful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Silver Cloud Inn in Redmond. We found our beds very comfortable, the room had plenty of space, the indoor pool was a bonus for our daughter, and the breakfast in the morning far surpassed what we've seen at other hotels. A great place for a great price - totally recommend it!

"Need Improvement"
This Hotel is well priced, Good breakfast. Room size is not bad considering amount of money you are spending. However, bouncy beds and noisy air conditioner kept me awake and I was surprised when I was told that they don't have any security personnel on site and break inns have happened in the past.
Thank you very much for taking the time to send us your feedback through Hotels.Com. It is through comments from valued guests like you that we are able to improve our services and facilities. I apologize for the discomfort and inconvenience that we caused you because of our bouncy bed and noisy air-conditioning unit. We actually are in the process of completing our bed replacement program and 95% of our guest rooms are now furnished with mattresses exclusively designed for the discriminating taste of our Silver Cloud Guests. We are expecting to complete the rest of the project in a few weeks. I have also given instructions to my Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to make sure that all air-conditioning units are functioning properly and efficiently. Although we do not have a Security Department, please be assured that Managers conduct security rounds twice a day and our evening staff does the same when the shift changes at night to ensure that our property is safe and secure at all times. I have been the general manager of this hotel for almost six years and there have been no reported break-ins in the guest rooms ever since I have been here. We also have developed a very good relationship with the police department of the city of Redmond and they do their rounds of our parking lot on a regular basis both during the day and at night. "Great hotel at a great price"
The Silver Cloud is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a moderately priced hotel in the Redmond area. Clean, quiet rooms and breakfast is included.
I really like Silver Cloud. Nice rooms, good breakfast, the only negetive comment I have is on the gym. I could not figure out how to get the tread mill to work and the bicycle seat would not adjust to my height. Really just minor stuff but would have made my visit perfect. Thanks

The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. It was a bit expensive for me but they had free internet, free parking and inside pool and Jacuzzi. I really wanted the Jacuzzi so I thought it was worth it. The jacuzzi and pool were out of commission on the second day, (disappointed). They're giving me a voucher for a future stay. (happy). Great staff, clean n very spacious room. It has refrigerator, and microwave. Big flat TV.Everything is included, breakfast, internet, parking, and close to shops, grocery and restaurants. Check out time is 12 pm. Which is about 1 hour later than most hotels. Nothing to complain only compliments.

My husband and I were not familiar with the area of town we needed to be in so I just took a chance. We loved our room. It was clean & quiet, the bed (King Size) was very comfortable and the check in desk was quick and efficient. We went to get some breakfast @ about 10:30am on Sunday and there was not much to choose from so a little disappointed there […] but other than that, we may even stay there when going to Seattle next time. The hotel was a very good value for the dollar. We were two families staying in Seattle for March break with the kids. So we were looking for a hotel with a pool, free parking , free breakfast and relatively close to the sights (20 minutes) and clean. I was corncered at first going with an unknown hotel names (at least to me) but everything turn up […] out better than planned. This is our second time at this hotel. We visited again because we enjoyed it so much the first time! Nice, spacious rooms. Love the large flat screen TV and the large open double sink area. We like the fact that the pool was open until 11pm so the kids could swim after we returned to the hotel at 9pm. The breakfast is always a nice touch. The only […] recommendation I would have based on this stay is that they keep a better eye on the breakfast tables. We had a hard time finding a place to sit, although I am sure many tables had already left but did not clean up after themselves. Also, the eggs were gone, syrup, coffee, creamer, and many other items we had to wait for. There was no one on hand available to ask and the front desk was busy. When trying to satisfy a late teen and a five year old while travelling, the pool/hot tub, wi-fi, and kid tv accessability worked for all of us; it didn't hurt that a tasty hot/cold breakfast got us off on the right foot with choices for everyone. "Nice but noisy"
A nice business hotel: functional lobby, well-appointed room, good breakfast, excellent value. Only problem was an extremely noisy and marginally-effective heater/AC system (in room 324) that kept us awake. Hope they fix it instead of just give it to one-night stays....

Overall i was very pleased with our stay in fact i booked my next stay to Redmond there as well. The only complaint about the location was that the spa was out of order when we were there. The beds were good, the room was clean, the breakfast was good. "Going to the Microsoft campus? Great place to stay"
Concierge was helpful finding area restaurants. All staff well-versed in customer care, even to the point of being able to easily have them ship back a coat left in the room (If you've dealt with hotels over the phone, after you've left, about this kind of issue, I'm sure you know it can be quite a hassle-- Not so here). The shuttle to anywhere on the […] MS campus was quite convenient as well, and scheduling it was a breeze. The only slight deduction on the rating was for a shower stall that was the squeakiest I've ever been in, to the point of me eventually forcing myself to not move my feet while I was showering. "Great resources. Hot tub included!"
My husband and I just stayed one night here to get out of town, and we had no complaints! The bed was big and comfortable, and the room suited our needs nicely. The thing that I love about hotels is their resources to the local restaurants, but with the Silver Cloud Inn, they had 50-100 restaurants in a magazine with the restaurants entire menus, business […] hours and phone numbers. The husband and I are both food people, so we really loved that! Wish we could have stayed 20 nights and tried our top restaurants. Don't let anyone tell you that you have to stay at one of the more expensive lodging options in the Redmond city center and rent a car. The Silver Cloud is about a 20-minute walk right to the front door of the Microsoft Conference Center along beautiful tree-lined streets. Just check the rain forecast and prepare accordingly. Don't feel like walking? […] Arrange for the hotel's complimentary shuttle to drop you off and pick you up. Although the hotel is amidst strip-mall heaven, it is walking distance from dozens of great ethnic restaurants ans shopping options. The staff was very pleasant. I liked the breakfast bar as it made it convenient to travel for the day. I was very happy with our entire stay.
Great stay. Hotel was what we wanted. We liked our room, enjoyed the pool, and the breakfast in the morning was goo too. Hot tub was out of order, but things happen so understand.
