Habitación amplia y cómoda. Se celebraba una boda y nos pusieron en una habitación muy cercana al salón de la fiesta de donde salía un alto volumen de música. Desayuno de calidad.

Hotel cálido y familiar, con muy buenas atenciones y muy cercano al cliente, las habitaciones están bien pero en el caso de la núm. 5 la que estuve, el baño super pequeño aunque completo. Por lo demás es muy agradable y como he referido, con excelentes atenciones.

El hotel está ubicado en una situación privilegiada, frente al mar y muy cerca del centro de la ciudad. El personal me pareció muy amable, sobre todo el de recepción, la habitación muy limpia y en general mi estancia ha sido muy agradable. Sin duda recomendaría el hotel. Quizás lo único que podría mejorar es el bar, tendrían que ofrecer algún tentempie, así como una gama un poco más amplia de bebidas sin alcohol. Sería interesante que los huéspedes tuviésemos acceso a internet.

"Lovely hotel"
Have stayed there a few times and it has been fine, but, this time we were put on the sixth floor (I can't travel in lifts) and we were right above a cooling unit, which ran all night long and disturbed my sleep (thank goodness I had some ear plugs!). "Good Price/Performance"
We stayed in the hotel during Christmas holidays. Location is perfect at the sea front. Room was spacious, everything nice and clean. Certainly one can see that the hotel rooms were not upgraded in terms of equipment for a long time, but every appliance functioned perfectly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is family friendly.

The hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful, the location of the hotel is on the seafront and 5 minute walk to the shops, so very well located in Brighton. The breakfast was very good.
"Shocking hotel room"
This was supposedly a four star hotel. It was a shocker. The room was very small and absolutely the bare minimum that you might expect from say a two or three star hotel. Very tacky and cheap looking as well as old. On check-in my room had the bed made and the bedroom appeared tidied, but it still had someone elses dirty towels all over the bathroom […] floor. On closer inspection the bedroom also had rubbish from the previous occupant on the floor. No airconditioning and a horibly creaky cheap old bed made for a really bad nights sleep. Is was a great place to stay, we had booked only one night stay but got to Brighton early and asked if we could have 2 nights and it was no hassles at all. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful, especailly one young man at the Conceirge desk. Parking on the premises is a little expensive but not much parking anywhere on the streets, so it […] was worth it. Everything is in walking distance so there is no need to take the car around the city. "Diisappointed"
I thought I was staying in one of the best hotels in Brighton but what a disappointment. Three of the four rooms booked were something out of the eighties and I don't think painted since then. Stayed with a group of friends for 2 nights. Very convenient location, on the waterfront, close to all the bars and restaurants and shopping area. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection of cold cuts, cheeses fruits etc. Bartenders and waiting staff very pleasant and friendly with lots of local knowledge. The hotel was close to all the main attaction, right across from the a very busy road from sea. Getting to the hotel was not easy, if you are self driving. We found the Hotel was not up to cost we had to pay. we stayed in our rooms the minimum time possible, becaus of the heat, in our room. "Brighton Metropole - beware the first floor"
We loved Brighton and the Metropole is conveniently located. They've done lots of work to the common areas of the hotel but on our first night our rooms were on the first floor -- which is really the basement. Our kids room was fair, but my wife and I got the room designed for handicapped guests. It wasn't fit for anyone - able-bodied or not. The view […] was of pigeon poop and the room smelled. The staff are particularly well-trained, polite and helpful. Only gripe is the exorbitant charge for WIFI where most hotels nowadays offer this service free.

We booked family rooms but they are very small with lack of wardrode and drawer facility for 3/4 people in a room. The double bed one of the legs was very loose but it survived our stay. The fridge did not work which they were aware of because it was empty, the air conditioning was not functioning properly. "Up graded - what a disappointment!"
Up graded to a double on arrival (Booked Single). Room above kitchens so constant fan noice & TV was out of order. Asked to be moved. Someone eventually came (30 mins later) & moved me to a very small single on the top floor & not the double that I was offered at reception. "Nothing special"
I stayed in this hotel for two days, the staff are excellent. However, I did have a number of issues: The hotel air-conditioning wasn't great and at times was too warm in the room to sleep. When eating at breakfast there was mould on the bread, which all we got was an appology. The swimming pool was out of action and we were not told until the end […] of our stay that they would have paid for us to go to another pool plus the taxi. I doubt I will book this hotel again. "Great Location - shame about the additional charge"
Nice hotel in great location on the front in Brighton. The room was large and comfy and breakfast was very nice. My only gripe was being charged a lot for 24 hrs internet accesss, the cost of drinks in the bar and the cost of parking in the car park Otherwsie the staff were helpful and did their best to make it a pleasurable stay

"Hilton Metropole on Brighton seafront"
The reception was cluttered with people around the desks and it was unclear as to what system they were following. There should have been a member of staff in charge as it turned out that most of them were not in a line at all as there were vacant reception desks. I was offered an upgrade to a double room for £20 which was rather strange as it was obvious […] I was on my own. The single room was very pleasant; actually with a double bed pushed into the corner. I was pleased they had provided an extension lead which made it easy to plug in my charger, etc. There was no view from the windows and there were net curtains which hid the eyesore. The room had 2 windows and it was very hot so I tried to open them for some air. I managed to open one window by about 6 inches but the other one wouldn't budge. I couldn't see a temp control or A/C in the room. There were tea/coffee makings provided. There was also a bottle of water on the tray with a price tag of £3.95 which seemed outrageous to me. I thought I might buy some nuts from the mini bar but the door didn't open. The breakfast arrangement worked well with the dining room leading off Reception. Most tables had a sea view and a newspaper was on offer. The breakfast was buffet style and there was a choice. The hot food in the containers looked pretty unappetising but there was plenty of cereal, yoghurt, fruit, bread and one stand had someone frying eggs and pancakes on a griddle. The bathroom in the room needed updating. There was only one light over the sink; the sink itself was damaged, though functional. The bath taps were very stiff and difficult to turn and the shower had no markings to show hot/cold. I would stay there again but only if I got a really good price. Leer más

"Lick of paint required...."
Service was exemplary. Bar and Dining areas and foyer are beautifully done out, very smart. Only downside was the bathroom - bath panels look like they're made out of cardboard, old & mis-matched tiles, marks and stickers all over bathroom fixtures - look over twenty years old and in desperate need of a re-fit. Expected more at the price paid.

Brilliant location and nice interior in reception, bar etc, car park underneath is very handy too and good price for hotel customers but the room was well in need of a total refurb as was the bathroom which was very tired and outdated, the lighting in the room was poor and the wallpaper pealing, the in room Internet also did not work but there was free […] wi fi in the bar. Hotel facilties & staff excellent. Room was let down by bathroom which was not clean, broken tiles, dirty grout & didn't reflect the overall standard of the hotel.

Lovely hotel on the seafront and very central to all Brighton's amenities and sights. Only complaint was that the hotel had clearly overbooked. Every single couple in our very large party, all booked in for a wedding, had trouble getting the room they had already booked and, more importantly, paid for months ago. It may have been Easter Weekend but […] all of us had booked our rooms by last December so expected better. The hotel and staff where nice on my visist. The only problem was the pasta night and the bathrom. The shower leeked and got the floor wet when u went in. Plus the spog lights did not work, so the room was either dark or very bright with the big lights on.

Old fashioned hotel needing updating. Only 2 mins.from the Conference Centre and opposite the beach. 15 mins. walk uphill to the rail station. "Not the typical Hilton"
In my previous experience with Hilton hotels around the world, I always felt that my it always was good value for money. Not at the Hilton Metropole in Brighton. The rooms were dark and small, some of the double bedrooms (I booked 3) had the bed to one side of the room, with only space for one single bedside table. The bathrooms were dark and in need […] of a revamp; the walls had old screw holes in places, the bath were chipped and the shower wasn´t powerfull enough to wash your hair. The aircon was loud and the room decoration was outdated. The blinds didn't blocked the light in the morning and the room door (and bathroom) were so old that only closed with a big push. One of the kettles in the bedroom didn't work and although we reported this to reception, the next morning was still not working. The swimming pool looked really good, but then it was full of kids even after 7pm (no restrictions for kids after 6pm like in many hotels). The water was impossible to dive in, as the clorine was so heavy that it was not possible to see through the goggles under water! The sauna only hold room for 6 people (if you are not fat!) and the jacuzzi... well, it was 5 minutes on and then you had to wait 12 minutes for it to start again! so the queue didn't make the experience very relaxing! The staff in the swimming pool area wasn't very helpful at all when we reported a missing key that had fell from the safety pin that was meant to hold it, so they just kept the money from the locker without explaining any further! If you would like a Hilton experience, don't book this hotel, because it is not "Hilton standard", you better book the next door for a much better experience. Leer más

Enjoyed our stay would definitely stay again. Everything was excellent, especially the breakfast. Our only complaints would be slow check in and out and our room was on the warm side and we couldn't find any controls to turn it down.

I attended a swimming pool exhibition at the Hotel, and as an expert in pool water quality, I have to say that the smell of chlorine and nitrogen trichloride in the pool and the hotel building were off-the-scale.
