First of all I want to say that the people in the hotel was always very nice during our stay. Unfortunately, the apartments in the hotel lack of a kitchen in good conditions. We were not able to cook the food for our daughter because the kitchen did not work. After one day waiting for response, the problem was impossible to be fixed, so they offered […] us another apartment. In the new one, the kitchen worked, but the microwave and the oven was broken and it was not possible to fix (again). There was no compensation for all the problems and for the time we spent by these problems. Also, there was no free internet (which seems super-strange in 2010) and they ask to pay between 17-22 Euros per day for having accession!. The impression is that the hotel is nice but also an old-fashion place. It also gives the impression that nobody leads the hotels and the responsibility for the problems are not completely part of them. Leer más

A lovely spacious apartment that was quiet and well equipped. It was surprising wifi was not part of the package but overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Had a great stay here. Although a little walk to town it was across the road and down a little from the gardens and zoo (free) which kids thought was a good walk out. A long way to the airport but staff were very helpful in allowing us to make contact with the car company. The garage is downstairs and relatively spaacious for Europe with each car afforded […] its own space even though limited spaces. Quiet neighbourhood and minimal road noises so slept really well in apartment, fold out lounge in living area was good and space fantastic. Our specific room was not avalable but they supplied us breakfast for the family to compensate, which was an extensive range and we felt we were more than accommodtaed. Although gym hard to get easy access as you have to go through reception for them to open it was really well set up and wish we had more yime to explore the area. A lovely city, much more than expected, great history and lovely bucildings with loads of character. A great hotel with wonderful service. The breakfast was lovely albeit pricey (20 euros!), but the scrambled eggs were perfection itself. My family (3 of us) had a suite with a kitchen, unnecessary for us but the room was wonderfully decorated and all the facilities worked perfectly. It's a bit of a walk to get to the main part of the city, but is perfect […] for conference or business travellers. downgraded on arrival - promise to refund difference to room delivered but as yet no appearance on the funds (+2 weeks) - basically have pre-paid and shown us the door with promise to contact us - but singularly failed to do so. Hotel itself is ok, though reception area and restaurant shows more promise than the rooms (ok but felt kitchen was rather […] stale and grubby). Restaurant is expensive - and did not appreciate being told i had had 3 beers when I had 2 and then having to argue the toss with the staff. Pretty disgusted with the behaviour of the staff over the room downgrade - it's simple - upgrade and i would not care - downgrade and they should make me whole on the room rate. An offer for a free drink (5 euro) is not the same as a 50 euro difference and still waiting to hear back from them (as promised) about the refund that I would (definitely) be recieving... We enjoyed this quiet hotel in a residential neighborhood. We boarded the bus in front of the hotel, which connected to the metro into the historic and tourist areas of Lyon. We found the bi-lingual staff to be very friendly. Our family of five stayed in an executive suite, which was clean and well maintained. The quality of our stay in Lyon was amplified by our experiences at this hotel. It is of highest quality, as is their staff, and is located in a convenient and pleasant area of the city. We would happily recommend it.

Hotel room was very nice but there was no running hot water from the time we checked in, was not told about this by the front desk and when I complained nothing was done. Had to take cold showers.

At arrival the people were very friendly and helpful; we could even play the piano. Dinners were of a very good quality. The room was very spacious, with an own kitchen, bed room and living room. It is nicely situated near the park and relatively quiet.

de voordelen van een nette grote kamer wegen niet op tegen tegen de negatieve punten zoals gehorigheid, slechte lift, trappen en bereikbaarheid van de parkeergarage. Echt vriendelijk kan ik het personeel ook niet noemen, enigszins onverschillig. Over het algemeen een negatieve ervaring

A l'arrivée certaines chambres n'étaeint pas prêtes ( 15h30). Aucune compensation pour l'attente..... Réception accueil et salle de restaurant trés bien mais les femmes de chambres.... Aucune discrétion !!! Elles sont rentrées à 2 dans la chambre en "piaillant" il n'y a pas d'autres mots !!! pour remettre le canapé en place et nous récupérer des serviettes […] et accessoires de bains.... limite !!!! et de plus pas trés aimables ! Rien à dire ,tout est parfait , hotel très confortable ,nous n'y avons fait que dormir car nous étions en congrès à la cité internationale où nous nous rendions à pied entraversant le beau parc de la tete d'or .Très pratique pour nous

Decoration fin rené coty - debut charles de Gaulle, un rafraichissement de la deco est urgent. Service médiocre : TV en panne, pas de depannage possible. Garage en sus .... quartier tranquille mais sans grand interet Rapport qualité / prix = 0. A ce prix , on trouve bien mieux y compris sur la presqu'ile

Mycket trevligt hotell, servicen var jättebra, rent och snyggt.

We came rather late to Lyon and had booked through Hotel.com. When we entered the hotel room it was much bigger then we thought. It had a huge bedroom and a huge living room with sofa and LCD TV. There was also a kitchen and two bath rooms. We try to always stay at four star hotels and this was one of the biggest room we have ever stayed in. It was, […] in fact, an apartment. A nice apartment. However, breakfast was 20 euros per person(came as a surprise when we had started eating). The breakfast was great but try to get it for free when booking. The hotel also charged for internet which I always find cheap. Why even bother charging 8 euros and risk losing clients? There was no smoke alarm in the room but we always carry our own with us. In all, a great stay in what seemed to be a calm neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again but then make sure they got us free breakfast and free internet. Highly recommended all in all. Parfait en famille. Nous avons testé la suite, véritable appartement spacieux et confortable pour nous 5. Accueil en revanche moyen, tout juste aimable. Restaurant fermé le WE, mais assiettes froides proposées correctes.

Très bel hôtel, la suite est superbe et confortable. L'accueil y est bon et le restaurant de bonne qualité. Une adresse à recommander.

La chambre est très vieillotte et assez sale. Le service est extrêmement froid et peu professionnel. J'ai voulu annuler ma dernière nuit (sur 3) pour raisons professionnelles (annoncé à mon arrivée) et ni Hotel.com ni La Reine Astrid n'était prêt à me rembourser la nuit malgré les conditions générales qui précisent "annulation sans frais" si prévue […] 24 heure à l'avance (ils interprètent "24h avant le début du séjour et non 24h avant la dernière nuit). Bref, je les ai trouvé tout deux assez lamentable et je n'y remettrai plus les pieds. Leer más

Bien dans l'ensemble, mais personnel de reception peu aimable. Tres grande chambre triple, mais nombreux disfonctionnements électriques. WIFI payant. La dernière rénovation remonte à plus de 20 ans... Très excentré par rapport au centre de Lyon, et pas sur les lignes de métro ou de tram.

Hôtel : Hall d'accueil refait moderne, mais chambre ancienne décoration, pas terrible. Personnel : Accueil du soir froid, impersonnel et du style "débrouille toi pour ta chambre, moi j'ai autre chose à faire ". Service repas en chambre minable ou la serveuse à été obligé de faire trois A/R pour que le plateau repas soit complet et conforme à la commande. […] Donc repas froid. We stayed for 3 nights. Amazed to discover all the space in the suite. Well prepared for my wife, me and 3 children (under 17 yo). The hotel is situated in a calm and better part of central Lyon. 15 minutes walk to the old city and all sides of the rivers. Did not hear any sound of neighbours. All rooms clean and without trace of misuse. Nice and […] warm bathroom with tube, separate WC. Well equipped kitchen with a large refridgerator ("minibar") with lots of space for food. Bakery nearby. Bus stop nearby. The bus "C1" takes you straight to the station where the train brings you to/from Paris in 2 hours! (300 km/h) We will be back! Leer más

Très bon hotel à recommander : grandes suites de 55m2 avec entrée, salle à manger, cuisine, chambre & SDB. Les chambres sont décorées avec gout, propres, spacieuses : on se sent comme à la maison. Nous avions réservé un massage californien avec Francis & Sophie : 1h divine. Réception très à l'écoute. L'hôtel est bien situé, mais les chambres sont vieillottes, il y a des coins de moquette moisis, et la déco date des années 50... Il faudrait envisager une rénovation complète. Nonobstant, le personnel est compétent et sympathique.

Dette var et bra hotell. Frokosten var fantastisk!! Vel verdt EUR 17! Rommene var gedigne og hadde masse skapplass. Rent og pent. Litt for lang avstand til sentrum Lyon som er på andre siden av kanalen, men man kan fint spasere dit. Resepsjonen var gode i engelsk, besvarte våre spørsmål og ga tips og råd. Trygg bilparkering underground.

We just stayed one night on our way to Beziers, but we loved this hotel. The executive suite was great for a family of five, with a lovely breakfast. It is really beautiful and luxurious, and we loved the big park beside it. It was also really easy to get a bus or metro there. Would really recommend it.

The suites at this hotel are extremely good value for money. We enjoyed having a separate bedroom and living room, bathroom with separate WC and spacious kitchen with all appliances included. On the deficit side: the use of an Internet connection was expensive and the connexion was bad. Also negative: the hotel announces itself as a spa, but all they […] can offer is a gym, a sauna and a vapour bath. The location is fantastic and the garden very nice. Dinner prices are misleading, as there are numerous taxes to be added to the bill. All in all, however, a very very nice place which we can recommend to all our friends. Leer más

L'hôtel est dans une zone très agréable et calme quoique un peu eloigné du centre (obligation de prendre les transports en commun) cepenadnt il y a la cité internationale pas très loin. Le buffet du matin est vraiment exceptionnelle, le service est continue et ce n'est pas parce que l'on s'approche de 10h (heure limite) que les aliments ne sont pas […] renouvelés. Le service est discret et poli, ils ne sont pas sans cessent derrière vous et vous laisse respirer. Pas de bémol particulier juste un peu d'attente au moment de payé.
