Outrigger Beach Resort

El agua de la playa no es la típica de la zona, es oscurita. El hotel está muy bien ubicado, sobre la playa, con un muy buen bar de piscina y música en vivo. La habitación, si bien era cómoda, le falta modernización, tiene detalles viejos. Si buscan comodidad sin lujo está ok; pero si quieren un poco de nivel, busquen otro hotel.

Really cute place, with a lively atmosphere and good amenities. Restaurant has a great menu with reasonable prices and good service. The Tiki bar has live music and was the center of attraction every night. I'd highly recommend it. JL

The hotel is nicely located. The beach is great!! The rooms are outdated and could use new tv and a DVD player, new courtains.

Friendly staff, clean and tidy. Fun tiki bar. Good diner. Great beach frontage, spectacular sunsets. Walking distance for restaurants and movie theater. Enjoyed our stay.

The Outrigger is a fantastic basic hotel ON the beach! Comfortable rooms, good service and a GREAT location. It has a nice bar and pool right next to the beach. Supermarket nearby and theatre right across the road. You do need a car to get to different restaurants.

Everything about the Outrigger was great! Rooms clean, staff accomodating, price was very reasonable. It's right on the beach so that's a huge plus! One thing we would recommend is to not eat at their cafe on site, (at least not for dinner) food was okay, service wasn't good. I would stay hear again, nice service people, beach location, but needs a few minor upgrades. Room TV was a 24 inch, not a flat screen or HD

We enjoyed our stay at the outrigger. Good food, good drinks at reasonable prices, friendly service, clean rooms, quick housemaid service. Cannot see the ocean from the pool. The beach is a long walk from hotel to the ocean (just a very long beach), had to pay for ocean lounge chairs.

My husband and I upgraded our reservation to a fantastic room with a king bed, kitchenette, 2 t.v.'s, living area, balcony looking at the gulf, and a spacious bathroom. (Modern hotels don't even compare to this room!) AWESOME! The room was very clean and neat with an up-to-dated kitchen/dining/living area and bathroom. The view from the balcony was […] breath taking with the palms trees, the water and of course the sunrises & sunsets. The people at the front desk were always friendly and ready to help when we needed answers to questions: nightlife, etc. The "Tiki Bar" was great as was the Deck Cafe. The pool also looked inviting. Hotel has a lot to offer with beach, pool, poolside bar. Great stay and very reasonable price. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is beachfront and has a nice tiki bar. Live music is a plus. They should have more than three grills and tables in the picnic area. We did not have a table to eat and that is obviously very uncomfortable when you are trying to have a good time.

I will say that the rooms are in need of a renovation. The paint on the walls, artwork and especially the bedding need to go. I actually took the bedding off the beds they looked like they were used in the 1970's. Clean rooms though. I loved the atmosphere of this place. An older well kept hotel. The room was huge, exceptionally clean, and the staff were great. I hope to stay there again when I am in the area.

Location and price were excellent, altthough didn't get wake up call. Glad I didn't need to catch a plane. Other than that no to bad.

Stayed here for a week. Okay rooms for the price, older style. The Pool was always too crowded to fully enjoy it. A lot of smokers sit outside of their rooms and at the pool, so the heavy smell everywhere was always an issue for us, being non-smokers. We noticed a lot of children always plugging their noses when they were walking outside. The beach […] offers great shelling. Be sure to slide your feet when walking in the ocean, we stepped on a lot of pokey “alive” sand-dollars. Also, take bug spray- the fleas can get awful walking to the beach & they bite hard! During the day, it’s expensive to park downtown, everything is pay for parking. However: after 6pm, you don’t have to pay the parking meters or lots. Sunsets on the pier downtown were great. I highly recommend the sunset dolphin cruise, you can book this at the hotel guest services. Only $20 an adult, kids $15. It was amazing to have the dolphins do tricks right next to the boat. It was a great experience!! We also had a manatee come up to the boat! Captain Mike was great!! Fort Myers Beach is a place to come when you just want to relax. My wife and i ungraded to the beach front rooms and were glad we did we had a great view and nice balcony. The beach was very disapointing because of the clarity of the water. The hotel was great and very clean ground and common areas.

This is a great hotel for families because of the location and price.

My wife and I parked at the hotel on Friday afternoon around 4:30 and never used the car again until we left Sunday afternoon around 3:00. Everything we needed was at our fingertips from food, pool, entertainment ,beach, shells, and plenty of sun. We had a great weekend getaway.

Older hotel in need of some updating in a great location right on Fort Myers beach. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and location was user friendly to see local attractions and eat at some great restaurants.

The Outrigger is right on the beach and has a lovely outdoor area. They had a live singing group by the Tiki bar on the weekend and it was a perfect setting to sit back, have a drink and enjoy. When we checked in we paid an extra $15 dollars a night for a room with a partial water view, and it did not have a view, unless you were outside craning over […] the porch rail. Awesome place for couples. For the price .... Awesome location, steps away from the beach. Super clean. We were also able to make reservations for a sunset cruise that's also recommended!

Room had recently been updated/painted. Very clean and comfortable. Beds were a little hard for me. But overall very nice. Tiki bar open till 1000 was great!

Loved this hotel. Great location, manager cocktail reception...nice touch. ice cold beer at tiki bar. Walk on the beach..awsome. Clean, comfortable rooms . My wife, 7 yr old son and myself had a great time. We didn't want to leave...too bad we had plans in other Florida counties. Next time, bec there will be a next time, we will stay longer. My friend and I just returned from a very enjoyable week at the Outrigger Hotel in Ft. Myers Beach in Florida. It is well kept. The service is quick to respond to needs that came up,,,,even when I required an extension cord for the bedroom. The help was very courteous. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends. Great location, too

My daughter and I stayed at the Outrigger Beach Resort for a couple of days and had a wonderful time. The room was clean, comfortable, and the resort was fabulous. We ordered room service and the speed in which our food arrived was awesome, not to mention how great the food tasted and how nice they were. This was the second time we booked this hotel and again it was a wonderful stay. Yes it is an older hotel, but it is so much fun. Great Family place.

It was a very nice place. Yes it was older, but it gave it character. We had a great time and would go back again.

Nice Hotel on beach. Service was good and friendly. Long walk to beach surf,but it was beautiful. Traffic was hard getting off island when rush hour. I would recommend this hotel as for the money it was great time.

My husband and I enjoyed our 4 day weekend stay at the Outrigger. The Outrigger is an older resort but clean. The only drawback was the mattresses on the beds left a bit to be desired. They were both soft and saggy. They need to upgrade their beds.

We decided to visit Florida for a short week and chose Ft Myers on a whim. We had never benn there and the airfair was priced right. Checked Hotels.com and looked over many locations and happened to find the Outrigger had vacancies for the first couple days we would be there. I read the reviews for it and several others and reserved a room after reading […] the positive words. Quite simply , they were correct. The room was clean and comfortable as was the rest of the property. The beach was right there, just steps from the pool and bar($2.00 DRAFTS). Dolphins swam down the beach the first morning entertaining everyone for a while. Should we return to Ft Myers again we will stay again without question. It is a beach motel with great location and service. Not to mention the room was under a 100.00 per night on the beach! Leer más
