MUY RECOMENDABLE, LA UBICACION PERFECTA, A UN PASO DE LA ESTACION CENTRAL DE TRENES, CAMINANDO CON MALETAS SIN PROBLEMA. CERCA DE LOS BUSES TODOS, CAMINANDO CERCA DE MUCHOS PUNTOS INTERESANTES EN LONDRES. COMODO, LIMPIO, LA ATENCION DE RECEPCION Y CONCERGE MUY BUENA. EL DESAYUNO ESTA INCLUIDO Y ESTA DELICIOSO.

A mi parecer el hotel aunque es ya algo viejo, se encuentra en buenas condiciones, las camas son cómodas y el servicio de limpieza efectivo, la zona es tranquila y a pesar de que junto estaban haciendo un nuevo edificio, no había ruido que no dejara dormir, es un buen hotel y lo recomiendo ampliamente
"rooms ok, but the food is awfull"
The room i got was cramped and very small. You had to pay a fee to use the hotel minibar for storing your own items ?? The hotell breakfast was awfull. Fat bacon and powder based scrambled egg ( not taste ). Just really bad quality
A really nice hotel that gives excellent. The breakfast are continental an contains a lot of choices, for example fresh fruit and you own made omelett. This was our second stay at this place and it a natural choice due to the close distance to pretty much anywhere. Good hotel well located. Great breakfast buffet even though you have to be early during weekends otherwise you have to queu. Near underground station and close to almost everything in city. Overall we are very satisfied. /Family from Stockholm

"Good location"
Good location with tube station across the road. Nice room with a city view. We did not pre-book breakfast as we.thought it was expensive but on check-in was offered a discount. This was well worth it the breakast was lovely. Would definately stay there again.

Wonderful breakfast. Close to edgware road metro station (3mn) and direct line to St. Pancras station. I always choose that Hilton hotel when I go to London
"Not what I was expecting from a Hilton"
For a hotel that charges nearly double what an economy room would cost II would have expected a lot more, room was basic no wifi which meant I could not work, bed lumpy. The hotel it's self was lovely but we could have saved our selves half the money and staid in a small local hotel where the room quality was just the same.

Good size rooms for London. Excellent polite staff and quiet comfortable room. Handy for as 2 tube stations 'very' close by. Breakfast rather pricey, pop across the road for cheaper and a 'Pret a Manger' is about to open just outside on the same side if you don't wish to cross. The fridge is computerized and therefore anything you pull out is immediately/ […] automatically picked up and added to your bill and again 'very pricey'. Oxford Street is a 15 minute walk away. "Convenient location"
Hilton London Metropole is conveniently located opposite of the Edgware Road tube station. There are a few supermarkets (Tesco, Mark & Spencer, Waitrose) in the immediate vicinity. The room is clean, but the bathroom tap seems old and mouldy.

The location is near Paddington Sation (7-10 mins)that I can travel easy to Heathrow airport and Bath . we have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and cannot fault it. it is just outside the congestion charging zone and opposite edgeware road tube station.the rooms are great and the service excellent,we book through the internet using 3rd party websites and always get a good price and breakfast included into the price.the restaurants can be […] very busy for breakfast but for a small charge (4.75) they will bring a full breakfast for all guests to your room including juice,cerial,pastrys,full english,toast and tea or coffee.i would reccomend this every time.the car park at the hotel is quite expensive however there is a couple of independent car parks in the streets adjacent to the hotel.we paid £40.00 for three days(hotel wanted £84).it is so convenient for the whole of london, we buy an all day travel ticket for the tube for £5.30 and go everywhere all day and night.its not the cheapest hotel to visit but if you book through a third party you can get some great deals(we saved over £100 and got breakfast included).if its in your price range i would highly reccomend this hotel as it ticks all the boxes. "Bad experience at the Hilton London Metropole"
From a 4 star hotel you expect much more. The hotel has an atmosphere of a central train or bus station. The service was cold and lacked personal touch, the room was too small, the heating system did not work , the cleaning was partial and the bathroom outdated and very badly kept. It was a big disappointment.

Lobby and service were of the highest quality. But the basic room was quite dissapointing. The size of the room is not as bad as the layout of it - we could barely fit one big and one medium size bag without having to jump over it. "Skip this Hilton"
Maybe it's just that I had bad luck but it seemed as if my having booked this on Hotels.com got me a pretty shabby room. But, I thought, at least there is wifi so I can get work done. Unfortunately the toilet began gurgling LOUDLY at 3am which, as I had traveled from Seattle, was not welcome after a tiring day. The next room did not gurgle but had […] only one outlet that I had to unplug a lamp to use. If this was an adorable B&B, that would be fine. But it's a Hilton, for goodness sake. I recently stood at this hotel and was sadly disappointed. Despite being a convention center which caters to business, there is no wifi in the room. What's worse it's $23 a day for slow internet access, what a rip off. There were beggers on the property who were very aggressive and the ATM machine in the lobby was at least double the costs of others […] in the neighborhood. "I like it but this time it wasn't so good"
They places me in first floor bed where all the cooling and pumping system r and u can also hear the underground , the mattress was bent from the middle and worn out. In addition I asked for a pair of. Slippers for three times on an 30 minute interval with separate phone calls and still got an hour later.

From the time we entered hotel and met the lovely Thale at reception, we continued to enjoy the wonderful experience of staying at the Hilton Metrolpole. The family especialy enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast......

Lovely hotel, and lovely staff - the bar on the top floor is excellent. The only thing I was disappointed by was that I paid for a 'City view' and instead was on the other side with an A40 view. Chose to spend a girlie break in London .Hilton as ever was clean friendly and efficiently run.Check in girl very friendly asked about trip ,which was not good six hour journey instead of three .On checking out she remembered and asked had we all had fun.Being as this is a big hotel the personal touch she brought was good. The Hilton Metropole London is a friendly, welcoming hotel with nice ambience and internal architecture. Althoughtthe location has been scored lower than other elements for our stay, this was due to most of our time being spent nearer to theatre land and the surrounding area. The services and quality of the Hotel is great. The location is also perfect for visitors who like to see all the attractions in London because it is close to subway and lot of buses running in the neighbourhood.

Rooms very outdated. Poor air conditioning system. Close to tube station but neighborhood all Lebonese. Concierge gives bad information. Book something else. Not worth the money
"Disappointed"
Well, I almost always stay at the HYATT ANDAZ on Liverpool Street but since the rate doubled for my stay from the normal high price, I looked elsewhere. I figured a Hilton Hotel would be a suitable substitute...well, I was disappointed. The hotel is just average. The lobby is very nice with a nice bar area and doorman, looks very proper with a true […] English and New York style. The room however, was not great. The two single beds were just ok; the carpet had stains; the lighting was poor; the bathroom had only one outlet and it was only for electric shavers, no regular outlet for a hairdryer to be used! The hook on the door was broken; the television stations were weak; the toilet tissue (I am not being too critical here but it should be noted for a 4-star hotel) was pure sandpaper; the shower was nice with plenty of pressure; overall, the room lacked that pop you would expect from a Hilton or any other true 4-star unit., even in London with their stereotypical lodging. i say this because I have stayed at much better places. The hotel does sit right across from Edgware Road Tube Station/Underground, which is nice for the Central/Hammersmith/District Lines. It should also be noted the area is not the best of neighborhoods for any shopping or mainstream food. As for food, you are in the middle of an Arab/Middle Eastern Village, so you will find plenty of Lebanese, Iranian and other Middle Eastern cuisine. I did use the workout facility and sauna, both very nice. I should also note the pool seemed popular with families. Overall, just decent and not worth the price. I will not be back. Leer más
"Horrendous reception at Hilton Metropole London"
We experienced extremely bad reception at the Hilton Metropole London hotel. My wife and two kids flew from from Canada to UK on the evening flight. When we got to the hotel around 10 am in the morning next day, understandably the room was not ready (since the ckeck in time is usually mid afternoon). We requested the reception staff to let us know, […] as soon as the room was ready. Since we were extremely tired from the flight and had luggage with us, so we decided to hang around the hotel lobby. At this point, our kids - 9 year and 11 year old - hadn't slept for almost 28 hours, so they dozed off on the sofa in the lobby. In the meantime, I left to get the transit pass. In my absence, a hotel employee (lets call him OSMAN) asked my wife to wake up the kids from the lobby. Instead of offering the alternative, his comment was kids can't be here sleeping here. This was totally unexpected and shocking to her. As I wasn't there, she hadn't slept and she was in foreign country, she didn't know where to take the kids, so she refused to wake up the kids. When she refused, this employee (OSMAN) proceeded to wake us my daughter himself. At this point, my wife broke down and started crying. As soon as this happened, the floor manager came running and started apologizing for the behaviour. They gave my wife and kids a room within half a hour of this incident, but by this time the damage was already done. We had waited a long time for this trip and paid a good amount of money for this hotel, but this horrendous reception blemished our whole trip. I have traveled in various parts of the world for business and personal, but never experienced something close to this in the past. Any one reading this review, I would highly recommend not to book this hotel. If you have a choice, please choose anything but Hilton Metropole Hotel in London. Leer más

"London calling"
A busy modern hotel with an excellent breakfast buffet to suit all nationalities. Very busy, but excellent service kept pace. Good location on Edgeware Road if you fancy ethnic Lebanese style food. Close to tube and only a few mins walk from Oxford St. We were there during the London riots 8/11. No problems in this area.

booked this trip for my mum's 70th birthday, fantastic hotel, great location, great staff nothing to much trouble always had a smile for you, great pool for my 13 year old and my mum, really good breakfast,

Being a London hotel we had some concerns. However, we were more than pleased and would love to stay there again some day.

Staff were all friendly and helpful. It was a big help that the hotel looked after our baggage after check out for the day. Clean room with a very large comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. Break fast was a little busy but well cooked with plenty of choice and plenty of it. Room service was available but not used.
