The service and people was fair at best. the room was just ok and had problems each day we were there. No real restaraunts near by especially where breakfast is concerned.

This was a good spot for my purposes. You need to schedule the room service, which I guess is common in extended stay facilities but not what I was familiar with. The room has a full refrigerator, and a mini kitchen, and if you are working at a few of the companies right in the complex nearby, this would be the most convenient place ever. It is easily accessible to the highway though, so it is very convenient.

We chose the hotel as it was fairly close to Alewife by car, so we could leave the car and take the train into Boston for the day. Surprised to find a private kitchen facility including a full sized fridge, microwave, stove top, sink, basic cooking utensils and even a breakfast bar. Very comfortable stay.

This Hotel was a pleasant surprise. It was really close to Fenway Park, and the Restaurants around it were awesome!!!

Entry, hallways, elevator very plain and dated. Room was mediocre. Beds were not comfortable. No housekeeping unless you stay for a week.

Although conveniently located just off the highway, the cost per night does not justify staying at this hotel due to its overall rundown condition. There was a refrigerator in the room which contained two ice trays. That it is for the ice. There is no ice machine at the hotel, so use it wisely. The front desk person was very personable, although initially I think I was checking in with someone from maintenance. The actual clerk showed up within 5 minutes. Linens were clean, bed comfortable. I think the rugs could use a good cleaning.

need to ask front desk for shampoo, dish soap, etc, but toiletries given cheerfully. Odd that there was no mattress pad--just a sheet between me and the other patrons' possible body fluids.

Time for some updates and maybe a new cleaning crew

The hotel was way over priced for the service it provided. The lady at the front desk was rude. The room was OK.. I had to pay $5 to use the Internet! Who does that??? The bathroom wasn't as clean as it is supposed to.. for the price they took, there was no soap in the bathroom, no small shampoo or glass. I mean, it wasn't a bad experience, just a little improvement that can make!

Hotel was clean and the room was nice. We received an upgrade because they did not have a non-smoking room at our original selection. Management was courteous and helpful.

First - Service is outstanding... we were treated respectfully and politely. We ordered a non-smoking room. The room we got on the first floor was supposed to be a non smoking room (had the signs and everything) but smelled like a chimney... sheets, covers, towels, carpet smelled like a cigarette shop. We could not stay there. The hotel was full so we could not get a different room. The hotel staff was kind and professional enough to move us to the nearby extended stay (sister hotel) that was excellent. Bottom line: Quality of facility - pretty bad Service and staff: excellent... We ended up being happy I guess sometimes good people can compensate for lack of resources Thanks

Don't expect the Ritz Carlton, but it works!

Wasn't too stoked on the place. Counter was falling apart. Room had bad odor to it. Should've stayed at a Motel 6, would've saved money and had a way better room...

My wife and I stayed there Thursday through Sunday. Let me just summarize for the folks who don't want details: our experience was horrible because of unclean bedsheets/comforter. Location was probably the best part. It was very quiet, tucked between Hyatt and Extended Stay Deluxe and other premium hotels. Staff was neither friendly nor unfriendly except one guy who was very helpful and nice and one guy who was completely careless. When we needed to print boarding pass the good guy sent us to Extended Stay and that worked out great. When we wanted to check out at 7AM on Sunday, there was nobody at the counter. We had to shout and bang and everything to get a careless guy drag his body from behind the counter. When we checked in, we were told that they clean the room once every 7 days which is fine as long as they also clean the sheets before every new arrival. But that was probably my assumption and the biggest mistake I made. The spring bed was horrible, you just can't sleep. Everytime you move or your partner moves it will rock like there is no tomorrow. Then those bedbugs! I literally didn't sleep 2 nights in that hotel. I came back with severe skin rashes and allergy. I got cured and then my wife's slowed reaction picked up. Right now she is taking steroidal medicine to get rid of the severe allergy (rashes, itchiness, bloody red lumps). I'd like to sue this hotel or at least report it to BBB. Other issues like room heater not working, bathtub not draining all becomes minor in front of what I just described. However one other big issue was vry heavy smoking smeel throught the corridor, when the entire corridor (all rooms therein) was designated as non-smoking. Also because rooms were not ventilated and cleaned there will be an awful rotten smell as soon as you enter the room, but you will get accustomed to it within 5 minutes of being inside the room. Ben

Some confusion over booking - bed smaller than requested. Convenience to where we wanted to be was great. Staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Internet speed was a very slow. I wish I was aware that the hotel didn't have any lotion or shampoo.

great room for the money

We stayed a Friday and Saturday night. You get what you pay for. The room was clean, though there was a spider web in the corner. The bed was soft, but comfortable. The wireless internet worked --- but we were in a room all the way at the end of the hall, and it was not very strong. There was construction going on when we were there - new carpets and wallpaper in the hallway - so when that's done, it will look nice. The staff at the front desk was very helpful - they recommended a great breakfast place about 5 minutes away and gave us what we needed (shampoo, etc.) at no additional charge. If you're looking for a place to sleep, and a fridge, this place is great. Right off I-95 and 15 minutes from Boston. If you are looking for luxury and breakfast buffets - go somewhere else.

The one problem is we got a non-smoking room. There was a ash tray in the room and also smelt like the guest before us had smoke in the room. Other than that the hotel is reasonable.

I stayed at this hotel in Sept 2008. The location is terrific, right off of the highway, but a little hard to find if you don't know where you are going. The lobby is small, the man behind the desk was playing an acoustic guitar when I walked in. When I went up to my room I opened the door and it had the most disgusting smell! I opened the windows wide, and went out to dinner. When I got back the smell was no better. The room was tired, the bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were flat, and there wasn't a single vessel to drink out of in the entire room, which had a full kitchen with no utensils!! I will NEVER stay there again, and I suggest you don't either. The only thing good about it was the price. Oh, and another thing, they charged $4.99 to use the internet, which was for a week, and wouldn't pro-rate it for the one night that I was there. Choose another place, don't bother with this one!!

The only problem is that I did not get a receipt when I checked out. One was to be emailed to me but I have not rec'd one. Why could I not get one when I checked out?

you get what you pay for....and in this case that's perfectly fine. safe area, for the price the hotel was fine. Would use again, no hesitation.

I think the checkin and checkout was efficient The room was secure but had no coffee (only decaf) The bathroom sink was slow to drain The sheet had holes in it The counter in kitchen had hole in laminate Ok but not going to make you feel special

Room was never cleaned. Old sheets with holes, no extra towels nothing in the kitchen to clean with. Lousy front desk service. It was AWFUL and I would NEVER recommend this hotel.

Excellent value for our money. Close to Boston. Nice room with kitchen. Could have been more restaurant nearby.

Mold and mildew covered the ledge of the tub.... disgusting! And the checkout lady was NO HELP!

Had to pay for Internet access. No food beyond vending machines. Staff did not seem to know area; e.g., where to go running, location of grocery stores. I asked for a newspaper, and the clerk instructed me to walk over to the next hotel and ask them. Room was not clean. Prospect Park, just a mile away, was a nice place for running, and the location is convenient to the interstate.

the room was visually clean but the carpet, the upholstery, the curtains and the hvac system have over time absorbed, and now release absolutely gross smells of exotic cooking and bodily fluids the only way i could manage to fall asleep was by having the window wide open

The pay for movies service had been out and they didn't sound like they were going to fix it for a while. Not a problem for me usually, but here was nothing on t.v.

Hotel is fine if you are looking for a cheap place to crash. Don't expect the hotel to add anything to your trip.

We stayed here in April 2008, and while the price was good, the room was not impressive at all. Very shabby -- the chair had a giant rip and assorted (biological?) stains. The walls were very thin, and you could hear people walking around on the floor above us. This is a very convenient location for getting into downtown Boston or Cambridge, but unless you are on a very tight budget, I would give this one a miss.

The room was clean and the staff were helpful, but my non-smoking room was next to smoking rooms and the stench of smoke filled my room (and the hallway) for my entire stay.

If you're on a budget and just want just the basics - this is a good choice.
