This hotel was the best my sister and I have ever stayed in. When we had to wait 10 minutes to check in, the hotel upgraded our room for free to the Penthouse. The staff was friendly and helpful. The view was amazing. The location was superb. We were within walking distance to every attraction we wanted to see. Front desk was great. Comfortable rooms and great service.

I've stayed at this hotel many many many times in the last five years and it has not changed much in all that time. It's definitely in need of a refresh, especially in the room decor. Most other hotels have removed the large armoire/tv cabinet and moved to tables for a more open feel The desk is outdated and i've never understood why hotels insist […] on a chez-lounge or recliner in the room, it simply takes up a lot of much needed space. The bed is more than adequate to sit on and watch TV from the bed. If you need to work, there's a desk. The beds are comfortable and LOEWS have moved to douvet's which is nice since the old fashioned thin comforters are not very nice. The linens have always been clean, as have the bathrooms. I nearly always find a lot of dust in the rooms, especially on top of the armoire since I'm tall and I see it. I'm sure the cleaners don't think of it. Food is ok in the restaurant. I don't think the breakfast menu has changed in many years and is somewhat boring now. All in all, it's a good hotel in an ok part of town but it needs a new refresh in the rooms from furniture, to beds to TV (seriously, an old tube tv, I haven't owned a tube TV in over 5 years?!), to carpets, to bathroom tiling and new ironing-boards/irons. Since it's dated I've started using different hotels in the area such as the Marriott over the road which has been updated. Leer más

Loews Philadelphia is a very nice hotel in a good location. This was our second stay. Service is good, personnel nice and very helpful (and personable). There were some bumps: some bad food from room service, one night our room was not cleaned, parking rates were not clearly posted.

Great location in the middleof everything, and across from subway. THe staff wer exeptionally helpful and frienldy. Loved the fitness room and lap pool also. ONly compolaint.....wireless should be free.....what a hassle and super expensive. If you joined thier loyalty program, you got it free, but if you didn't know to ask, you paid $10 a day. Staff was very nice, rooms were very clean and the surrounding sites were only blocks away. Sites at night were magnificent from our rooms. Will stay at the Loews Hotel when we stay again in Philadelphia.

It is an excellent hotel, however too expensive once it doesn't include breakfast or internet. As we book a Luxury room for three persons, we were expecting larger beds and not double/full beds. But, overall, all staff is really friendly and the place is great and very well located.

Nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Right down to the free coffee in the morning. Would def stay here again!

The Hotel is in a great location and fun old building. The staff at check-in and the concierge desk were brilliant and helpful. The facilities for working out are very good as well.

I stay here every year for the Mid Atlantic Irish Dance Competitions - great property, very clean, no wonder they crack to top 500 each year. Nice to be close to the event but not at the event...calm atmosphere... Will be back next year for sure...

This hotel was very nice and clean and smells mean alot to me. I think the parking was a little high $42 a day, but there is alot of garages near by for half that. The staff was welcoming and very courteous.

I've stayed at this hotel on a few occasions. It's very nice and comfortable. The bath products are great. They do allow dogs, so may not be good for anyone allergic.

I picked this hotel based on location and other ratings. I was very pleased!!! The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms was extremely comfortable. The area around it was very nice and had great access to tourist stuff and also great local places. The room size was fair, the beds and pillow were fantastic. One great thing was that the […] bathroom was very spacious so it made the room a little smaller but it was worth it. The hotel itself was picturesque. The valet parking staff was enjoyable and the valet it worth it because its as much in and out as needed and you didn't have to worry about finding parking somewhere else in the city. I would recommend this as a great investment, no hotel stay is cheap in the city, but the location and staff and comfort made this an excellent stay. Leer más

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. It was clean, spacious and in a convenient location to historical sites and great eating. I would definately recommend staying here. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful with recommendations. The city bus tour has a stop right across the street.

Had a wonderful stay in this hotel whre we found the room very comfortable and beyond any criticism. Could not believe the quality for the price.

Loews Hotel in downtown Philadelphia is convenient to the convention center, museums and historic sites. Park your car safely away in their garage and take the trolley or a cab anywhere in the city. The hotel is beautiful! We had an awesome view of the city skyline on the 23rd floor. The location was great with shopping and dining so close! Check In and Out were very quick and the staff was friendly. I decided to opted out of the valet and parked at the public parking deck across the street and saved some money for overnight parking.

Only stayed for one night with my fiance' and I must admit its a place I would recommend anyone to stay the people are nice, the rooms are clean, and the service was excellent will definitely be back again

My wife and I booked a standrad room at the Loews Philly and were blown away. Amazing staff, great room with a view and probably one of the most comfortable beds in the city!!

The check in took a very long time .A large group of guest came in approx.the same time in the late afternoon.The hotel was not prepared for this. The room I ordered was initially not available but a solution was found.When we came to the room the door lock did not work and needed 2 technicians and 1 hour, and was still not OK. The security door hook […] was hanging loose and was useless. The safe was locked and could not be used. The hotel manager was informed about these issues and he promised action ,but nothing happened. When we checked out, it took 30 minutes before the car arrived form the valet parking, even after calling 10 minutes before we left the room. Leer más

The building and its public spaces, the lobby, entrances and hallways are absolutely beautiful, first class restorations. Loews has performed a miracle of landmark preservation. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, but they do not live up to the standard set by the rest of the hotel. When I found a bug in my room, the hotel did not believe me. When I pressed the issue, they sent someone up to investigate but could not have been more obstinate. After their inspection, they left the room a mess and the covers remained rolled up. Loews really does love pets! We had to evacuate our shore town for hurricane Irene and this was one of the only places we could find that would take pets. We were a bit dubious as to cleanliness given the allowance of animals but everything was clean. The concierge was very helpful in providing anything we might need for a cat. Beyond the pets the staff […] was very helpful and the hotel bar and lounge was very nice especially since we were stuck inside most of our stay due to the hurricane. This hotel is perfect. The lobby restaurant is excellent for beautiful good value breakfasts; I did not have other meals but my guess is they would be very good indeed. I chose this hotell because it has a swimming pool; it was smaller than I expected but it is fine for a central hotel and you can get a solid 30 minute lane swim.

This is a great place to stay in Philly! People are nice, very helpful. Room was excellent, spacious and clean. The building is really nice- historical bldg in the heart of Philly. My husaband and I used the fitness center twice, which is fantastic. Big, has multiple treadmills, ellipticals, weights, and a gorgeous locker room. Has a pool, but its only […] good for lap swimming- its two laps long/wide. I highly recommend eating in Sole Food, the hotel restaurant. The hotel is a landmark for a bank called P.F.S.F, I t was the first bank I banked at when I was a kid back in the sixty's, they made the building into this beautiful Lowe;s hotel but the P,F,S.F sing is still on top of the building the hotel has a great view of Philly downtown the room service was great too I'll stay here again always on vacation […] ( The Traveling man). If you want to stay fit and like to swim this is the perfect hotel for you! Great pool and fitness center. The restaurant is also excellent.

We enjoyed our visit to Philly. Very patriotic, exactly what we were looking for. We live in Boston, and we wanted to travel to another city that was also very patriotic. The only down fall about this hotel was, it cost $40 a day to park your car.

You have to love this re-invention of the old PSFS building with all it's marble. Loved this hotel, the location and the value.

The room was clean with a great view. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location is great. Would be 5 stars but the bathroom sink only trickled with hot water and no one responded by the end of our fourth day even though we informed them on the first day. This hotel is in a great location as it was central to all of my business needs. Public transit is direct from the airport to the hotel which is awesome. The staff were busy but accommodating. The hotel was clean and quiet; definitely what I needed for my short visit and I would certainly stay there again.

Only stayed one night for an event in Center City. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodated us when I needed to change from a king bed to 2 doubles. They found us a room in under 5 min and then called to room to make sure we were set.
