Es lo que un buen viajero busca de un hotel en NYC, agua caliente, caliente y limpio el cuarto, un metro cerca, wifi y hasta ahí. Recomendación no vayan a comer a los restaurantes de atras del hotel es muy fea la comida.

Esta a 15 minutos de Manhattan en bus, sale de la puerta del hotel y te regresa al mismo lugar salen casa 10 minutos te deja en 8 y 42 en Manhattan , el desayuno muy bueno , la atención excelente y el personal muy predispuesto a darte información turística , esta en una zona de negocios , supermercados y varios restaurantes, la zona segura para caminar sin problemas

Un hotel de la categoría del Holiday Inn debería tener al menos en la recepción, personal que hablara español. Aquí en México en casi todos los hoteles de más de 4 estrellas, los recepcionistas son bilingues. Gracias.

"Excelente Ubicación"
EL hotel muy bien ubicado, muy grato, el baño excelente, pero los closets son muy chicos, no tienen ni cajoreneras, solo un par de repisas.
Nunca me había hospedado en el Sofitel en NYC antes, y estuve gratamente sorprendido por mi experiencia. El personal no pudo haber sido mas atento y servicial. La habitación estaba muy limpia, espaciosa (para ser NYC) y cómoda. Los baños eran amplios también. Fue una estancia escelente, y no dudaré en hospedarme en el Sofitel de nuevo.

Recomendaré el Sofitel y tiene una buena ubicación esta muy cerca de Times Square y comercios de Fifth Ave. El personal del hotel es extremadamente amigable y el personal de recepción muy eficiente y nos dieron buenas recomendaciones de lugares para comer, comprar, etc... En general una gran experiencia.

Ya que era el cumpleaños de mi sobrina y su primer viaje a NY todos en el hotel lo hicieron más especial para ella. Este será un viaje que siempre recordará.

Aunque ciertamente agradable, cómodo, limpio y todos los básicos, no podría llamar a este hotel “lujoso” o “por encima”. Un par de aspectos negaivos: 1) Me sorprendió que un miembro del personal apenas abrió la puerta y entró. Dijo que solo estaba comprobando para ver si todo estaba bien. Si ella tocó, no la oí. Algo anda mal ahí. (Que tal si estuviera […] en la regadera o en el toilet, por ejemplo. 2) No había cafetera ni café en la habitación – extraño para un hotel de “lujo”. Fiel a su visión Francesa de hospitalidad. Servicio con una sonrisa fuera de lo ordinario relacionado con peticiones médicas manejadas con eficiencia. Puntuación alta en todos sentidos.
Un maravilloso tranquilo hotel ubicado en una animada zona de la ciudad. Un oasis cálido y cogedor con un toque Europeo. Bien equipadas lobby y habitaciones. Definitivamente me alojaría allí de nuevo, el personal muy amable y servicial.

Nos hemos alojado en otros hotele Sofitel en el país. Y son realmente hoteles hermosos y nuevos. La ubicación en el centro de NYC es una propiedad antigua pero aún conserva el clásico estilo francés. El mayor lujo importante además de los artículos de tocador Hermes, eran los tapetes de la habitación, para los estandares de NYC es grande. Y las vistas […] desde el piso 26th. eran sublimes. Estaba viajando con mi hija en su primera vez en New York y fue una ubicación perfecta. Puede tomar un taxi o el metro a donde sea en minutos. Fue una gran experiencia y lo elegiría de nuevo. Lo único malo es que para tener la vista debíamos ascender de nuestra habitación original a una tipo King y dormir juntas porque la habitación no estaba lista cuando nos registramos pero estaba bien y realmente era una cama tamaño King para NYC. "Sofitel: lugar perfecto para una escapada de fin de semana"
Disfrutamos muchísimo el Sofitel. Cerca de todo, limpio y tranquilo con un excepcional servicio. El tamaño de las habitaciones era amplio con una agradable vista de la ciudad. Estuvimos especialmente impresionados con el servicio de recepción: muy buenas recomendaciones de restaurantes! Esperaremos nuestra próxima visita.

Es raro que en una estancia en un hotel y concluyas que merece una calificación mayor a la indicada. El Sofitel-NYC es uno con esas propiedades. Su ubicación es grandiosa – cerca de Times Sq., el distrito teatral y museos/compras. El personal es muy amable, acogedor y competente. Les tomó a todos menos de (10) diez minutos localizar un maletín que dejé […] inadvertidamente en el elevador. Apenas tuve tiempo de preocuparme por ello! Los espacios comunes así como las habitaciones estaban bellamente decoradas con mobiliario de buen gusto y lo último en comodidades. Encontrarán tina y regadera ambas en el baño. Aunque estabamos en un piso alto con una gran vista, los elevadores eran sorprendentemente rápidos y silenciosos. Nunca esperamos más de medio minuto por uno aunque fuese en las mañanas ocupadas y horarios de medio día. Mi única “queja” sería el desayuno en el restaurante en la planta baja. Aunque entiendo que las comidas de servicio en la habitación son con “sobre precio” caro, acepto que estás pagando extra por la comodidad. Sin embargo no creo que un plato de avena, un simple plato de fruta y dos tazas de café deben costar $57! sin embargo fue en Gabyś, el restarurante del hotel. Sobra decir que a la mañana siguiente mi esposa y yo desayunamos en uno de los muchos restaurantes cercanos donde tuvimos una comida más elaborada por una fracción del costo. "Great experience"
This was our hotel of choice as we were not disappointed the first we stayed there 2 years ago. The service was exceptional and we'll definitely stay there again! The children have requested another New Years Eve experience at Time Square so the family will be making another booking soon.

The hotel was in a really great location in midtown - close to Rockefeller Center and transportation. The hotel was very clean and modern and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
Was told i was getting jacuzzi...did not...in fact, the water was green in the tub i did get...complained...they laughed and told me that is new york. hotel was nice but dont go for tub room.

Service lacks sincerity. Stayed for a couple of nights for a family celebration. Leaky bathroom pipes resulted in drenched carpet/floor. We could smell cigarret smoke from next room around our bedboard, closet, and bathroom. Sounds from neighboring rooms were not really sound proof. We could hear a baby crying all night. We didn't hear any from outside, though. Otherwise, we loved the hotel. We had a wonderful time. They had a room ready for us when we arrived from a red eye flight and allowed us a late check out which was very helpful. They assisted us in our plans and always with kindness. The room was very nice as well.
"Won't even think of staying anywhere else."
Of all my expenses in New York, this was the best bang for the buck. Friendly and professional staff made everything right from check in to check out. Had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant. Bed was ultra comfortable. Spacious room was an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city life. First class hotel!

The rooms were a great size for NYC. The beds were SO amazingly comfortable. LOVED the bathroom and shower. LOVED the location. The restaurant was delicious and the staff were SO friendly and helpful. LOVED the location too. I would stay there again in a minute!!!!!

Hard to beat the Sofitel if you can get a good rate. 2 blocks east of Times Square, provides you with easy access to all Broadway shows and is well located for 5th ave. shoping. Nice hotel, good staff. Stayed there for New Year's Eve but I did not know that in order to enter Times square we'd have to buy tickets for about 350 bucks. If you stay in a Hotel in the same side as Times Square, you'll have access to the street that lead to Times square at no cost.

aesthetic of hotel is modern and attractive, and slightly curving hallways, dimly lit halls and subtle colors are very appeasing. noise insulation of rooms is excellent, but room size is inhibiting. service is less than what one would expect of a property such as this: the principal concierge makes minimal effort, hardly anyone speaks french, except […] for bonzour,and the maitre 'd in the restaurant hardly speaks any english either. free 24 hour internet on 3 lobby comps is a big attraction. the ghost of DSK is perrvasive. overall would say experience is pleasant, but we expected something extraordinary, especially for the price. "Sofitel NYC - Made us feel important"
We were impressed from the first moment we pulled up. The service was superior. The hotel manager remember our names throughout the weekend and said hello every time he saw us always asking if there was anything he could do to make our stay better. I have stayed at a number of higher end hotels and would recommend this hotel as one of the best.

"four star"
This is the nicest hotel I have ever paid for myself. I did a lot of research on Manhattan hotels and this one is highly rated but pricey. We wouldn't have stayed here until a 24hr. room sale brought the price into our range. The room was quiet, comfortable, clean. The workout room fully equipped.
