Es lo que un buen viajero busca de un hotel en NYC, agua caliente, caliente y limpio el cuarto, un metro cerca, wifi y hasta ahí. Recomendación no vayan a comer a los restaurantes de atras del hotel es muy fea la comida.

Esta a 15 minutos de Manhattan en bus, sale de la puerta del hotel y te regresa al mismo lugar salen casa 10 minutos te deja en 8 y 42 en Manhattan , el desayuno muy bueno , la atención excelente y el personal muy predispuesto a darte información turística , esta en una zona de negocios , supermercados y varios restaurantes, la zona segura para caminar sin problemas

Un hotel de la categoría del Holiday Inn debería tener al menos en la recepción, personal que hablara español. Aquí en México en casi todos los hoteles de más de 4 estrellas, los recepcionistas son bilingues. Gracias.

Overall we were very happy with our stay at Sofitel. The location is great, the service very good, and the rooms/bathrooms quite nice - especially by New York standards. Don't really have anything negative to say and will plan on staying here again.

Room was perfect. Accommodations superb. The only glitch was the ice machine was not working on our floor. The maid inferred it had been out quite a while. "Nice hotel for sightseeing in Midtown"
My husband and I had a great stay at the Sofitel. Room was great--cleanly, spacious (for NYC), comfy bed, great bathroom! Location is convenient to Bryant Park, Times Square, and 5th Ave shopping. I would highly recommend.

This hotel was a lot iof fun. We were treated well and the food in the dining room was tasty...we ate breakfast there 3 or 4 times. Pricey, but very good service and quality of food. "The Sofitel Hotel in NYC was gorgeous!"
The hotel was beautiful and the staff was first rate. The only problem we had was downloading a movie. Took several tries before working. Desk staff assured us we would only pay once and we did. Would definitely stay there again. A little pricey but you can't beat the location, beauty of hotel, and amazing hotel staff!

"Not Bad at All"
Room was nice and clean however very compacted with little walking room around bed area. The view wasn't the best however, the walking distance to Times Square is a very short distance. Would stay again if price is right.
"Soffitel NYC-A stone's throw from Times Square"
A sumptuously decorated top-end hotel so close to the hussle and bussle of Times Square but quiet and luxurious. Like an oasis the fresh flowers were abundant on every floor, the bar was fabulous and service excellent.

"Flawless stay and the room was superb!"
From the moment I walked in the treatment was royal. Doormen, security and front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. I was assisted by Albert who went out of his way to investigate a room upgrade for me, personally visiting the room beforehand to make sure it was ready and had a good view. The room was spacious, immaculately kept, furnished beautifully […] and truly embodied French luxury with a taste of old New York. The TVs were new with Bose sound systems, France 24 and other TV stations that I normally cannot get anywhere else, and the Hermes toiletries were outstanding. Gaby's restaurant and bar were lovely and very reasonable by New York standards. I also ordered room service (a treat I know) and while it was expensive as all hotel room service is, it was *worth* it. My meal arrived quickly and exceeded my expecations in portion, presentation, and quality. Everything about my stay was 5-Star. Other high end properties in New York could really stand to learn a thing or two from The Sofitel. Book it, you won't be disappointed! Leer más

"Saturday in NYC"
Got a great rate after the DSK scandal. Right next to Broadway so we walked to the Gershwin Theatre. Also walked to the SkyPort Marina where we had a dinner cruise. His and Her bathrobes is a great touch, Bathroom was cool with a see through glass shower stall. Extra amenities were a big help as well. I wasn't sure if my wife was going to get out of […] bed. "The Sofitel in NYC"
The hotel is conveniently located very close to Times Square. It's on a quiet section between 5th and 6th Avenues. The bathroom was clean with plush towels and bathrobes. Complimentary water bottles, 2 per day. Hotel staff is very pleasant and courteous. We ate close by at the Red Flamer Diner (a few doors down from the hotel) which was very good food […] and affordable. A 24 hour pharmacy is right around the corner for any items you need to pick up. They have complimentary computers (and a printer to print off boarding pass) however some guests tend to take advantage of this and not respect the 15minute timeline. The duvet on the bed was so thick and plush that it was incredibly hot in the middle of the night. Soft pillows, cushy mattress, spotless rooms, shower big enough for two........was the perfect romantic weekend. Every person on staff was accommodating and kind. Location was excellent. "Sofitel in New York- in the heart of midtown"
We stayed at the Sofitel because of it's central location to our activities. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and the bathroom was wonderful with a spacious vanity and a separate tub & shower. The room was comfortable and the service was acceptable. We would definitely stay at the Sofitel again!

We had a great stay at the Sofitel. We expecially loved the view of the Empire State Building from our room on the 21st floor. The room was quiet and clean. Good location between 5th and 6th avenue. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed at the Sofitel NYC for two nights. It was our second stay at the hotel. "Great location"
The room was of a good size and the quality of the bed and fittings were excellent. The location of the hotel is excellent. The only problem we had was that the room had obviously been used before we arrived into it. We complained to the front desk and were offered a new room and there apologies. I had never stayed at the Sofitel in NYC before, and I was so pleasantly surprised by my entire experience. The staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The rooms were very clean, spacious (for NYC) and comfortable. The bathrooms were roomy as well. It was an excellent stay, and I would not heitate to stay at the Sofitel again.

I would recommend the Sofitel and it had a great location as you are very close to Times Square and Fifth Ave. shopping. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and the concierge staff was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations on places to eat shopping etc...Overall a great experience

"classically pleasant"
While certainly pleasant, comfortable, clean and all the basics, I couldn't call this hotel "luxurious" or a "cut above." A couple of negatives: 1) I was surprised that a staff person just opened the door and walked in. She said she was just checking to see if everything was all right. If she knocked, I didn't hear it. Something wrong there. (What if […] I was in the shower or on the toilet, for example. 2) there was no coffee maker & coffee in the room--strange for a "luxury" hotel. We asked, and one was brought up (they said they had a limited number (!!??), but they forgot the coffee, which they brought up later (no decaffeinated). Leer más

A wonderful quiet hotel located in a vibrant area of the city. A warm welcoming oasis with a European flair. Well appointed lobby and rooms. Definitely would stay there again, the staff all very friendly and accommodating.

Such a wonderful stay with charming staff who went out of their way to be helpful. The beds are more comfortable than at home with ample plump duvets and the hotel was spotlessly clean.
