Our room was a little small, but very nice and decorated very modern. Walking distrance from Fisherman's Wharf. The beds were very comfortable.

Hotel was in a VERY good location. Close to the wharf, close to restaurants stores, cable car turntables. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere in the hotel lobby was quiet and comfortable. Will likely stay again.

I think the best part of this Hotel is it's proximity to many attractions. It's within walking distance of everything in North Beach, Fisherman's Wharf, and Chinatown. The service was great, and the room was nice. Our room only had a view of a neighboring building's patio, but that was just the luck of the draw. Stay away from their restaurant, unless you're just going for a coffee. Overpriced, BLAND food. The Denny's of Italian.

Great location if you are looking to be near the cable cars and the water. They upgraded us to a quiet King room with pullout sofa bed (for the kids)at no charge (we slept much better then a room with two doubles). We needed extra pillows and blankets and they were delivered in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We travel to San Francisco every other month for business, and usually stay someplace new each time. This will be our new "regular place". Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and modern. A bit small, but more than adequate. A cozy fire was in the lobby fireplace, and it was possible to walk to just about anywhere we wanted to go.

Loved the hotel and had a great breakfast in the restaurant! Thye charged me 20 dollars for parking after complaining about the daily rate.

If you want to be near Fisherman's Wharf or North Beach, this is a great location. The room was clean and very comfortable. Quiet. I go to SF several times a year and I will go back to this hotel.

We had a great time. We were out busy with the tourist stuff, so we didn't really spend much time in the room, but it was close to everything within walking distance so that was great.

Our room had a slight odd odor, and our view was of the other hotel rooms. Other than that, it was perfect. Beautiful lobby with a great complimentary wine social every evening. Employees were really nice and allowed us to check in like 4 hours early. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location near Fisherman's Wharf. Has a complimentary wine hour in the afternoon and coffee and tea in the morning. No breakfast, but a couple nice inexpensive breakfast places one block to the west.

From the time that we arrives, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very comfortable parking my car with the valet service overnight. We are already planning out next trip.

I've stayed here many times for business and pleasure over the past 10 years. Nice hotel, very convenient, great value. Hotel is smallish as are the rooms but for 1 or 2 people its fine. My only complaint: parking is costly.

Service, location, room quality --all good. Breakfast not included--only coffee and tea. WOuld be nice if they did that. Also, parking was not included ($40/day) which I assumed it was as this is not clear on the booking site. For the price, I would have expected this.

Then hotel and staff during our stay at Tuscan were great. It was only 2 blocks from Fisherman's Wharf. You could walk there every evening. It was also near a trolly car turn around. The room was small, but it had a king bed . . .it looked recently remodeled. Very quiet. The only down fall I can say is that their Continental breakfast is coffee and bread! Overall I would definitely recommend the Tuscan.

We picked the Tuscan because pets are allowed and its location on Fisherman's Wharf. We previously had stayed at the nearby Sheraton and enjoyed walking the wharf area on foot. The condition of the public areas at the Tuscan is adequate and could benefit from remodeling and updating. The room itself was clean and very basic with wallpaper peeling on edges. If not for the location, the room rate would be outrageous. The staff service was just ok. We normally like to move our own luggage so we can do it at our own pace. When we arrived by car late in the evening, the bell man would not allow us to use two nearby unused luggage carts even though there was nobody else checking in, saying that a guest had hurt themselves. He was more than willing to help and receive a tip for putting our things on his cart and moving to the room. If the condition of the hotel is important to you, I would look at the Sheraton or the Marriott. The Radisson is also ok but rooms are small. If room rate is more important, then the Tuscan is not bad. The location is very good, room is comfortable, rest of staff service is good, and they have pet snacks and California wine at 5 in the lobby. Enjoy!

When we checked into the Hotel, we were given a 'double' room instead of the King we had booked for our romantic weekend. When confronted about the 'mistake' on their part we were told that we were wrong, until we showed the girl at the front desk our print off from Hotels.com. Instead of apologizing and correcting the issue, we were told that nothing could be done until the next day. Not even a smile was sent our way. The Tuscan staff moved our packed luggage into the new room, and my husband and I discovered that both of our phone chargers were missing. When we approached the Manager about this, we were accused of not packing them to begin with. Finally, we were told that the Manager would run out and purchase our charges that day and overnight them to our home. None of this was done, and now we are forced to go and purchase them ourselves. Nothing has been done to correct our issues while staying at the Tuscan. This experience has left a very poor taste in our mouths, and we will definitely never stay there again. I will also make it a point to never recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family that travel to San Francisco in the future.

The room was much smaller than the pictured "Deluxe King". It had a couch and coffee table in the room but it was extremely tight space wise, you could barely get around the room. The air conditioning unit kept flipping from manual to a default 80 degrees in the night and we were in San Francisco during a warm period. Those complaints aside the location was great for walking to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 but wasn't so close that it was noisy at all. The concierge Cassie was wonderful and had great recommendations for dinner. The rest of the staff was uniformly helpful as well.

What a lovely clean room. We could see down to the Bay on one side and up in the hills on the other. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was so nicely decorated and in such a great location. It was easy to walk to many of the places we wanted to visit. It had a nice restaurant off the lobby. It also had complimentary beverages in the evening and coffee in the morning. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was easy walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The service was outstanding. Grocery store within walking distance for snacks. We would definitely return!

walking distance to fisherman's warf (only 2 blocks away)and 2 blocks from the streetcar turn around. great breakfast food across the street. Highly recommend! Don't expectd a big room,but it is clean and updated and plenty of room for 2.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, two blocks from the Wharf and you didn't have the crowds. Everyone was very helpful and friendly from the cleaning people to the front desk to the valet. I highly recommend this hotel and will be a repeat customer. Also, Cafe Pesatore was wonderful as well. Couldn't have asked for better service and the food was very good.

The Tuscan Inn has a great location. The lobby is warm and inviting. The evening wine reception is a nice touch. Our hotel room was pretty small but I guess one has to expect that in San Francisco. Public transportation is all within walking distance (even though confusing at times). A Safeway was right down the street. All in all, a nice hotel.

This hotel was ok, but for the price we paid, it was mediocre with small rooms, loud A/C and expensive parking. The restaurant attached was very good though, but that was the only highlight.

Really enjoyed the stay, especially getting together with other guests in the lobby. If you stay here ask for room away from the street. The outside traffic is pretty loud, otherwise no complaints!
