Best Western Plus President Hotel at Times Square

Excelente ubicacion, llegas pronto a los lugares mas importante, cuarto un poco chico, pero por la ubicacion vale la pena. Mucha atencion en el servicio para recomendar buenos lugares a donde ir y nos consiguieron reservaciones de obras de teatro. Definitivamente volveria a este hotel.

El hotel esta en muy buena ubicacion... Es lindo por su recien remodelacion... Las habitaciones son un poco pequenas... El personal no es muy tanto amable,cordial...

THE HOTEL'S LOCATION IS JUST FINE, IT IS ONE BLOCK AWAY FROM TIMES SQUARE AND 3 BLOCKS AWAY FROM ST. PATRICK'S CATHEDRAL, THE HOTEL SEEMS TO PRETEND TO BE A BOUTIQUE HOTEL, THE DECORATION IS FINE HOWEVER THE ROOMS ARE EXTREMELY SMALL AND THERE ARE CERTAIN DETAILS THAT THEY DO NOT PAY MUCH ATTENTION TO, LIKE CLEANLINESS ON SMALL ROOM'S SPACES. LA MEJOR UBICACION PARA EL QUE VA A CAMINAR POR NY, LA ATENCION MARAVILLOSA, SOLO LOS CUARTOS UN POCO PEQUENOS, DEL RESTO SUPER RECOMENDABLE.

La verdad es que he ido a NYC varias veces y este ha sido el mejor hotel en todo sentido, ubicacion, facilidades, comodidas y demas. Totalmente recomendable.

Lo mejor: ubicación. Está al lado de Times Square, con lo que no falta de nada a cualquier hora del día. Deberian tener personal que hable español.... Bueno lo tienen pero cuando preguntas si hablan español te dicen que no lo hablan.

Location is everything, but this hotel has A LOT more going for it than that. The cozy bar in the lobby, the funky decor, and the comfort of the beds were spot on! I could not have been happier with my selection of a hotel in NYC. This Best Western was absolutely great and some of the reviews I had read did not give me that impression. So help me I don't know where those unhappy people stayed, certainly not where I did! Great and I highly recommend!

Best Western President Hotel isn't a place to stay if you are looking for "fabulosity", but it is amazing if you just need a comfortable place to lie your head. Walk to Times Square, theaters, and the subway. The room was small, but you can't beat the convenient location.

I can't say that I've ever, in all honesty, had a worse experience at a hotel ever. Upon entering the room which was an "upgrade" to a "suite," we noticed that the bed was not really made, and there were rust stains all over the rug in the living area. The bathroom fixtures were filthy, and the hot and cold faucets were both only hot. Is like to say […] that these were the only problems, however, neither heat/ac unit would react to the in wall thermostat, then when we woke up in the middle of the night, freezing with the temperature at a brisk 53 degrees, the heater in the bedroom released water all over the carpet and it was soaked through the padding in a 6 square foot area. When this was told to the front desk I was told "thank you for mentioning it, we'll have to fix that for the next guests." I was so appalled. I have stayed at several Best Westerns that have been quite lovely. But after this, I will be writing them a letter informing them of the instance, and that I will never, ever, give any best western another dime of my money. Leer más

Great location- rooms are tiny, but this is NYC- come on! Hopefully you don't plan to stay in your room the whole time. the location is perfect, very small rooms, but well worth the money staying so close to times square.

I am so glad hotels.com sent me an email to write a review about my experience at the Best Western in NYC....cause it wasn’t great. The lobby was clean and the front desk people were friendly. That's about all I have nice to say. Once we checked into our room we found out our heater was broken. We called the lobby and they sent someone up to fix it. […] He was there for about 5 minutes and by the time he left it seemed to be working. 15 minutes later the heater started to make a gargling noise and spewed water all over the carpet below it (which explains the water damage on our ceiling from the room above). We called to have him come back and he claimed he fixed it. The noise stopped for about 24 hours but was back and worse the next day. Water continued to spew all over the carpet and the HEATER let COLD AIR out half the time. The noise was loud and completely impossible to ignore. It got annoying having to call the front desk so often to fix it. As far as the room goes, there was no elastic sheet over the mattress, but rather a loose sheet meant to do the job. It didn't. The mattress and pillows were lumpy and the sheet was thin and nowhere near enough for comfort while sleeping. There was no comforter on the bed. Just a thin blanket with holes. The cold water in the sink faucet was HOT and the hot water on the sink faucet was REALLY HOT. The shower was inconsistent, going hot and cold as it pleased. With all the hotels in NYC (and having had many other positive experiences in them) I would NOT stay in this hotel again. It just seemed like everything was uncomfortable and falling apart. Location couldn't be better. The lobby is very cool. But my room was in bad shape (bathroom, bed, carpet, walls). BW need to do some investing at Times Square!

This hotel has gone through a recent renovation which is very funky. The decor is a little odd but the brand new beds are sooo comfortable, they're near absolutely everything and the people who work there are the nicest, most helpful staff you can meet.

The hotel was in a great location for an active night in NYC. I walked to several venues that evening for music, food, and sight seeing and the hotel was central to all the stops. Birdland for 5pm Big Band concert. Carnegie Hall for the 8pm performance by the NY Pops, stop by Rock Center after the concert, and then some late night food and beverages […] at a couple of pubs just west of the hotel. Only real issue I had was that the heater was constantly running and there seemed to be no way to turn it off. To make the room comfortable I had to sleep with the windows open and let the cool temps of the winter night counter the heat in the room. Leer más

When we first walked in, we were surprised of the great attention to interior design for a best western. It looked like a boutique hotel. The first room they gave us was really small and the door didn't lock properly so we requested another room. The second room was much better, it was bigger as well. This hotel room was a great bargain for a quick, one night stay in NYC - fabulous location, near Times Square, Broadway, Restaurant Row. I will stay there again, as long as the rate remains competitive!

The hotel had very dark and dingy, not to mention narrow hallways. As someone who travels by themself, it was a little creepy when getting to my room. The room itself was small, old, and a bit dingy even with their remodel. The shower curtain smelled of mold. They are locted in a great spot though and next door to a pub.

It´s a very good option to stay in NYC. Very near to Times Square, and other important places. I Liked the fashion style of the place. Connection to internet by wi-fi was the only issue I had.

Had a fantastic experience! It was my first trip to NYC, definitely won't be the last time stating here!!

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Bestwestern. I do plan on returning , very comfortable, clean, and well decorated. The people were very nice and extremely helpful.

I had a conference in Times Square but I needed to stay somewhere inexpensively. We picked the Junior Suite and it was a great room for the price (Which was at least half of the cost of the hotel at the conference). It was completely updated and the rooms were comfortable - our room had two lcd tv's in it. Everything was clean. It had free internet […] that was spotty, but it worked. Our room was a little warm but I am sure they would have fixed that if we had brought that to their attention. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice inexpensive hotel to stay at, in Times Square. What a fantastic location! Literally just a block away from Times Square making it very easy to walk around the city. Also very convenient to many different subway lines. The hotel was cozy and comfortable....great experience!

I chose the hotel because of its great location and because it was me, my wife and my 2 kids and the room had a sofa bed. The room was ok, but the sheets were dirty, the room had a bad smell, the noise from the street didn't let us sleep well (we were on the 8th floor!) and the shower sounded like a lawnmower. I've stayed here a number of times. Once on New Year's Eve night. The location is excellent, the staff if friendly and helpful, and they've recently remodelled the lobby and the rooms. There is a parking garage directly across the street, and everything is right around the corner. This hotel is highly recommended!

overall the hotel was not worth the money that they charge , the rooms are small too small and too hot can' t controll the temperature in the room , and the srvice was very slow. i will never stay there again.

When we arrived, there was a puddle on the bathroom floor from a leaky toilet...and one of the bed lights was burnt out. I called for them to fix the bulb - and they never came... I would not recommend this hotel.

The basic essentials were missing: mini-frig, heat/air controls, menu of nearby activities, restaurants on premises. I was able to see the light in the exterior hallway when the lights were out inside of the room. Light bulb was out in the room. It's a practical hotel with a steep Manhattan pricetag.

Great location, great value but not for the hot-blooded. If you require a cool room to sleep, this is not the place to stay. The hallways and rooms are sauna temperatures. Even after reporting the issue and cooling system on all the time, you still cannot get room temperature down. You cannot open windows which is usually one way out of these predicaments.
