La ubicación del hotel es genial, ya que se encuentra ubicada junto a la calle Andrassy (eje comercial de Budapest) , y puerta con puerta de la opera. Ofrecen unas instalaciones modernas, buen desayuno bufett, internet gratis, personal amable, parada de metro al lado... en fin una experiencia positiva

Excellent breakfast, hotel comfortable and in fantastic location

We really enjoyed our stay at the K&K in Budapest. The location was amazing. It is very central, close to the metro and major sites are within easy walking distance. The room didn't have a view, but it was very quiet and the neighborhood is very safe. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Third time in a K&K chain hotel; like McDonald's, you know what you are going to get. Rooms are same decor, but always clean. Like the other K&K hotels, this one is great location; close to subway and walking distance to all the great places. Great buffet breakfast and free Internet in the room is always a plus. no problems the only fault i found was that the lady at the reception wasvery reluctant to secure my laptop for me would not fit into room safe she said they had no room which was contrary to what was on hotel brochure, the following day the gentleman took it from me no problem , otherwise hotel was grand

Stayed here in August 2011, following a week of singing in Budapest Seminarium Centrale. Although the KK Opera hotel is literally only a few metres from the city opera house and one of the main downtown thoroughfares, it is quiet, cool and secluded, offering a perfect base from which to explore the many beautiful sights and sounds of this jewel on the […] Danube. The hotel staff were all kind and efficient, gave clear and helpful advice, and attended promptly to all our requests. Meals in the hotel were excellent (though there are also some great restaurants nearby), many tourist sights are within a short walk -- and there is a Metro station within about 100m of the hotel providing easy links with the city's excellent single-ticket transport network. Great location near Opera House. We took the hop on hop bus to see the sites. The hotel is clean but could use an update. The staff was not overly helpful - they were unable to make recommendations for restaurants etc...

The best part about the K&K Hotel Opera is its location: just off Andrassy Ut next to the opera house. It puts you within walking distance of the Danube and most sights in Pest, directly on public transportation and the tourist bus routes, and in a great neighborhood for dining and entertainment in the evening. First time to Budapest and we fell in love with the city. The location of the hotel was excellent; right in the middle of everything. The opera was a half block away. Also the Metro was as close. The staff was very helpful in several instances. A great place to stay; air conditioning also was a plus.

Quiet, perfectly clean, modern and tasteful in a beautiful area of Budapest. Warmly recommended.

Though, after a stay in Vienna, the staff looked less friendly and helpful than in the hotel there, the parking (different service since it was a garage located in the basement vs the street, but open parking with the hotel card) fees much higher too (double). Location was just a block off the M1 (yellow line) so easy access toall of Budapest. Althogh no wifi, there were computers downstairs to use free of charge. Room was good size and comfortable. Didn't eat the breakfast (16 euro per person!!) Would also not recommend having a late night drink at the bar since its about double the cost of any other drinks […] in Budapest! Fantastic location at a fair price in Budapest. Exellent service and stay. Short walk to most and Vaci utca.

What a wonderful hotel - staff were very helpful and attentive. Rooms were extremely comfortable. Within walking distance to St. Stephens which is a must see I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this city

Neat Hotel, great reception, good breakfast and super location! Everything that we expect from a 4 star hotel. we were very pleased and recommend! This was our fisrt experience with a K 7 K Hotel and we were very happy!!

We were extremely impressed we this hotel. We arrived well before check-in time and they immediately accommodated us in our room for no extra charge. The hotel door is literally a 60 second walk from the subway entrance (Opera Station). It is immediately next to the Budapest Opera House. In essence, it is centrally located, a walking distance to many […] sights. The neighborhood is very clean and safe. The hotel staff was excellent, the rooms is good condition, and the breakfast was excellent. I have zero regrets about my stay and certainly plan to stay there again when I return to Budapest. Having stayed at this hotel previously, I can report that the excellent level of service has not diminished. The K+K Opera is still my favourite for business trips to Budapest, notwithstanding difficulties encountered with journeys to and from the hotel at peak periods. Its location on a narrow one-way street can - and does - suffer from the Hungarian […] habit of temporary parking in the middle of the road. However, on this occasion I suffered a different type of traffic problem, that of a dishonest taxi driver. On exit from Keleti railway station, I chose a taxi (with sign) who stopped for me at the front entrance. Only when we had set off did I notice that there is an official taxi rank further round at the back of the station. Upon arrival at the hotel, I gave the driver what I thought was a 5000 Forint note. He immediately informed me that this was not correct, handing me back a 500 Forint note. I apologised and gave him a further 5000 note. Only when I checked my wallet in the hotel did I realise that I had been duped by the driver's sleight-of-hand into giving him two separate 5000 Forint notes. OK, I was down around 20 Euro, but the most upsetting thing for me is that I got caught by this after twenty years experience of travel in the area. The moral is, no matter how you arrive in Budapest, make sure you use official taxis at the permanent ranks. Leer más

The K & K Hotel Opera was a gem for its price. The room was spacious, modern and very comfortable. It was also amazingly quiet, considering the busy locale. The location next to the opera is just a short walk to a subway line and right on one Rick Steve's walking tours of Budapest. This hotel is modern, clean and very stylish. The layout is a bit odd - you need to use different lifts in different parts of the building depending on which room you are in - but it's not too confusing once you get your bearings. Rooms are comfortable if small, with wired internet access which worked faultlessly during my stay. Bed is comfortable […] and the shower had good water pressure - a must in my opinion. This hotel probably had the best stocked minibar I have EVER seen! :) Service at breakfast and in the bar was exceptional. The buffet breakfast had a good selection and the waiting staff were always on hand to top up my coffee. In the bar the waiting staff again were on the ball but not intrusive. Food in the hotel was ok, but nothing special and prices were reasonable. The hotel is well located - close to Andrassy Ut if you're into designer shopping - but in a quiet side street so you can get to sleep without worrying about noise outside. We stayed in this Hotel 2 years ago and found it just as good now as then. Clean,Tidy, Good choice of food for breakfast and the reception staff could not have done anymore for us. We found the hotel to be exactly as presented in online reviews. Clean, bright, great staff, quiet side street but well located and near to everything. Would highly recommend and now I am definitely interested in staying in other K&K hotels through Europe.

The hotel has good location and the staff are very helpful.

This hotel lived up completely to a 4 star rating. It was new, completely clean, and exuded upper end European quality. The reception staff and concierge were extrememly professional. The support staff appeared to be talking about us in Hungarian with a little disdain. This made us feel uncomfortable and degraded. We selected K&K Budapest because we had stayed at a K&K in Prague 2 years ago and were very happy. Hotel was great. Staff helpful and courteous; recomemended several nice restaurants. Location was very convenient and safe. Rooms very clean. Buffet breakfast was hearty and enjoyable.

The K&K is an excellent place to stay - comfortable, modern and wonderful staff. Has a great sauna and the breakfast buffet has a great variety. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. If you're an opera lover, it's wonderful because it's right next door to the Opera House and within walking distance to all the places on either the Buda or Pest […] sides. Superior location, one minute walk to the historic Budapest Opera. Our hotel concierge was able to obtain front-row tickets to a sold-out opera for us. Very good location. Right next to the Opera. Metro and bus stop very close by. The hotel is modern and has all the facilities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Near reception there is a small area with three computers with free wifi which was very useful. We easily found the K&K Hotel Opera, being in Revay Utca, just off Andrassy Ut (the main route to Heros Square), and as its name implies right by the magnificent Opera House, only 2 Metro stops from Deak ter. We stayed for two nights in wonderful Budapest before travelling further into Hungary to attend a family wedding. This hotel was ideal in location, very central and within easy walking distance of many attractions and places of interest. The hotel staff were friendly and polite with many having a good grasp of English, especially the barman! Our rooms […] were comfortable, clean and very quiet.
