Comfort Inn Central Park West

El hotel está a solo media cuadra de la estación del metro y de Central Park (casi frente a Strawberry Fields). A pesar de que las habitaciones son pequeñas son muy cómodas y el staff en general es muy amable. El único detalle es que no limpian el baño diario, sí tienden las camas y parece ser que aspiran pero el baño no lo lavan. La cama que nos tocó […] estaba muy blanda, si padeces de la espalda procura confirmar antes que la cama sea la apropiada. La calefacción funcionó de maravilla y nunca tuvimos problemas de agua caliente. El desayuno es muy básico y suficiente para arrancar el día, todos los días encuentras frutas, yogurts, bagels, muffins y huevo así como café y té las 24 horas del día. En general puedo comentar que fue una muy buena estancia, descansamos bien por las noches y la ubicación es excelente si te sabes mover en metro en NY. Volvería a hospedarme ahí definitivamente. El personal es muy amable. Front Desk un hombre de nacionalidad dominicana que no recuerdo el nombre. El hotel es recomendable por su precio. Tal cual un comfort inn sabes por lo que pagas. Limpieza, ubicacion, desayuno free. No pidas lujos. Habitacion muy pequena, pero muy pulcra. Volveria nuevamente a este hotel.

Quedamos contentos con la ubicacion, el parque se encuentra a una cuadra por el cual se puede hacer una linda caminata. El estacion de metro hasta en la esquina lo cual tambien es conveniente. Los felicito por el desayuno tan completo. Falto mas limpieza en la habitacion. En general estamos satisfechos.

Supero nuestras expectativas, volvere allí sin dudarlo

Hotel bien situado, el desayuno estaba bastante bien, internet era lento, pero suficiente para ver los correos y sin duda volveria al mismo hotel.

teniendo en cuenta relación precio-sevicio es muy bueno ya que está muy bien ubicado,de facil acceso,lugar tranquilo,el unico inconveniente sería que las habitaciones son muy pequeñas pero en N.Y.hay que pasear todo el día así que es muy recomendable

The morning we woke up and went down to the cafe for breakfast(included), a deer ornament with display outside the window was covered with a just fresh falling of snow. what a delightful start to a peaceful, relaxing, friendly stay in a great quiet upper west side neighborhood atmosphere.

Tiny rooms even by NYC standards. If you just need a place to catch up on sleep this hotel will work fine. Very close to two subway stops and Central Park. Worked fine for my needs and the price was right. Plan on taking the stairs for extra work out. Elevator is slow.

Price: For a New York hotel, we got a super deal. Location: It was located in a quiet residential area, very close to a subway stop, and just a short walk to another major one. Walking back from the subway at night (I am a single woman with my 8-year-old daughter) I felt COMPLETELY safe. And another, too, I think. Amenities: There was a cute little workout room that I didn't use. The breakfast was a fabulous convenience. This was no "continental" breakfast. Many breakfast options were offered: make-your-own waffles, toast, cereal, coffee, several different kinds of fruit, doughnuts, eggs, sausage, English muffins, instant oatmeal, several choices of juice, etc. Room: The room was smaller than small. I get that New York hotel rooms are going to be small, really. It was only me (a medium sized woman) and a very small 8 year old and we were tripping over each other, however. Drawers had to be closed in order to walk around the bed at all. Two adults would have a difficult time. Liked the size of our room at the comparable Park 79 of a year ago. Small, but we could actually move. No natural light as the window was against a brick wall. It was difficult to identify it was morning w/o looking at the clock. A little worn and run down, but not something I really care too much about. Room was very warm. Much warmer than I am used to during sleeping hours, but maybe there are some that would like that. Very decent flat screen TV in room. I didn't come to NY to watch cable, but it was nice at the end of the day. Nice, comfortable bed. Ample drawer space. I liked that there was a safe in the room. Considering the price, the hotel was worth twice as much. Not the Ritz, but for the price, in the heart of NYC - it is a steal

This was one of the most outdated hotels I've ever stayed in. The very first room we went to had the smell of vomit right at the front door so we had to get another room. The staff was very kind in getting us another room....but overall...yuk yuk yuk

don't expect much. We only spent one night and it was so close to Lincoln Center that it made our evening of dinner and the opera super easy to navigate. The room is VERY small and the pipes are super noisy. Lots of clanging and banging. However, despite the noise, I slept well. This hotel has not changed over to all white linens and duvets either. […] Questionable bed spreads and blankets still on the bed. Tiny, not so clean room ... cracked vinyl tile in bathroom ...dingy sheets and towels ... no tub, tiny shower only. While the room may have been clean, it felt dirty. In fact, I felt as if I needed a hot shower every time I left the room during the two-day stay. Hotel location is closest to the Broadway. İt is in the walking distance to the central.

Phenomenal locations in close proximity to some great restaurants, museums, and Central Park within a quiet neighborhood. Decent breakfast included!

The Comfort Inn Central Park West is in a great location! The people at the desk were always friendly and helpful. Our room with a double bed was very small, but very clean and cozy. All we did there was sleep, so the size of the room didn't matter. Our only complain was that the room got quite warm each night.

The location is terrific - we were in the city to go to the Metropolitan Opera and this hotel was in the perfect location for proximity to dining and Lincoln Center. The first room we were assigned on the 3rd floor was not completely cleaned (the garbage wasn't emptied and there were used towels in the bathroom sink). We were reassigned another room […] on the 11th floor. While the room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was so cramped you had to contort your body underneath the sink to actually sit on the toilet. One word: PERFECT! Nothing to pick out about this beautiful hotel from the price, service, location and facilities it was fantastic. We had several friends and family stay nearby for NYE and for what we paid in comparison to them and in some cases the same rate, the Hilton left everyone speechless.

We were in the city for the night, and were thrilled to find a clean, updated spot on Central Park West for such an amazing price! Hotels offered 10% off and our total for a king room was remarkable. Fantastic location

Our stay at the Comfort Inn Central Park West was short but we will definitely come back. It is very conveniently located in the 70's and less than a block to the subway. Yes as others have noted the rooms are tiny but this is NY, you are only going to sleep there. Clean, comfortable and with an excellent breakfast.

great location, would stay there again

The room was very small, but was expected considering its location. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Due to the October snowstorm, we decided to come back early after dinner and rent a movie, but the movie selection was horrible. Quite a reasonable hotel for the price. I can reiterate others' responses in saying that whilst the included breakfast is great (waffle iron in particular!), you'll be fighting for a table or sharing with other guests if you come down between 8 and 9 am. Despite the room's appearance being disappointingly drab and old fashioned, the bathroom was clean and bright, the hotel service was good as was the breakfast, and the location was ideal for us - on Central park, served by two subway stations, and in a comfortable residential area. Close to downtown, but out of it. We enjoyed it.

The hotel is well located to Central Park, museums and subway but we walked to Time Square and Empire State. Great breakfast provided and restaurants around the corner. Safe Area. good price for a great location, just across the street from Central Park. the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a queen room, very comfortable...no noise at night at all, just normal hotel noise of doors opening and closing from adoining rooms in the morning.

It's hard to find a nicer location in New York. This hotel is an easy walk to the subway, right next to Central Park, on a quiet and safe street...the location is just excellent. The hotel felt dirty and it could have been clean. It was so outdated, though, that broken titles and stains could have been mistaken for dirt. It needs remodeling in a major […] way. Rooms were tiny, but so is most of New York so no big deal. I'd stay again if the staff were a little nicer but they were miserable. They were knocking at the door to clean by 8 am but yet you can't do an "early" check-in until 3 pm. What's with that? Every room takes 7 hours to clean? In all the staff were not friendly or flexible at all. Oh - one more thing! The pipes! The bathroom pipes clang at all hours and are loud! Very loud. It kept us awake. We wanted to stay near Central Park and this place was perfect. The room was clean and the staff was great, they even checked us in early! Be prepared, it is a tall and skinny hotel. It was nice to have breakfast as part of the package, the only negative was, there was no where to sit.

This hotel is in a wonderful location, just 1/2 block off Central Park. Our room was not cleaned on the first night, although the front desk did have someone deliver fresh towels to our room when we reported it. Cable TV was not working well, and bathroom was the smallest I've ever seen at a hotel. Continental breakfast was very nice and included eggs, […] bacon and waffles. I can't say enough good things about this hotel's staff -- so helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was much better than I anticipated with the exception that the AC didn't work and so it was tough to sleep since it was about 90 outside. Great location, too -- easy access to west side subway. I would absolutely stay here again when visiting NYC

The room is small, but clean. Within walking distance of Central Park. Easy access to subway. Is it fancy? No, but for the price it was more than satisfactory. You are in Manhattan folks. If you want luxury, you will be spending considerably more. We pretty much spent time in the room to clean up and sleep. Their is too much to see in N.Y. to waste […] time sitting in your room. Overall the hotel was great. Convenient, friendly staff and clean. The elevator was not always available so staying on the 4th floor we used the stairs alot. After moving from a double that was pretty cramped, had a challenging layout, and a tiny bathroom, we moved to a King with a rollaway bed. The whole stay was much more pleasant as a result. A fine hotel, although when you are coming to nyc to stay up until the sun comes out, the hotel room quality isn't as high a priority as the price. Thankfully I was able to crawl out in time for check out.

This was one of the tiniest rooms I have ever stayed in but yeah, it's New York. Understandable I guess. Cleanliness? Excellent, no problems there but as I said, you have a queen size bed and just enough room for two people to stand. Room approximately 8 feet by 10 feet plus a tiny bathroom and tinier closet. WiFi that was promised was almost non-existant. […] We logged on and it would show just the faintest signal and would drop out after about a minute each time. Spent most evenings in the lobby on the computer. Now service, spending so much time in the lobby I saw some absolutely fantastic staff really doing everything possible for people. Nice place, quiete, clean and friendly staff.

Overall, I needed a place to stay the night. We weren't entertaining there, just basic needs. Small does not describe how close the walls were in the room. Neat & clean were primary, and as for two people in the bathroom, not happening.
