When we checked in we were told "we are not ---- we don't need to be happy" My family was treated so dis-repectfully we checked out 2 days earlier than planned

Would recommend this hotel to anyone who has fussy kids. Kids are kept busy practically all morning so you feel like your on vacation. My kids want to go back just to get to do the things they couldn't accomplish on this trip.

A great hotel to stay at to get to all attractions in Orlando area. Kids had a ball and so many activities to keep kids occupied. I will be a return guest

This was a perfect hotel for Kids We really enjoyed our stay lots of thing to do in the hotel, Character breakfast was great as well though a little expensive. the Pool area wonderfull.

food was a little pricey, but otherwise a great place to stay with the kids. Housekeeping didn't do a good job everyday(we stayed for 6 days and only 2 times did they clean the room).

Great place to stay while not visiting Disney, plenty of poolside activities and pools / slides / Nickelodeon shows to enjoy. Restaurants on site, so no need to leave the hotel. Kids were a little disappointed the rooms were not all "Nick themed", only one wall mural in kids bedroom. In general all were very happy with the hotel.

The rooms are small and the beds are hard as a rock, but the rooms are clean and the kids absolutely LOVED the place! As we pulled up, our son (age 7) was soooo excited when he saw the hotel because he'd seen the place on TV. The younger two (ages 3 & 4) loved seeing the characters on the buildings and everyone loved the water slides. The hotel provided free shuttles to and from the parks, but the second day everyone wanted to stay home from Disney and play at the hotel. It was a bit chilly (70F in November), but the water is heated. My wife and I had a blast playing in the pools and playing in the arcade with the kids. The character breakfast was a little pricey (about $75 for our family of 5), but was definitely worth it for the memories (and the food was actually really good). The characters dance and sing for everyone and then they come visit your table one at a time to sign autographs and pose for pictures. Our breakfast had Dora, Diego, Spongebob, Squidword, and Blue. All in all I would definitely stay here again for the kids. I just wish they would replace the bed mattresses.

We got a great deal and the kids had a wonderful time. Food was good for a kid-centric hotel. Facility very clean with good amenities. Shows and pool were great. Bathroom space very tiny for a family of 5. Customer relations desk was painfully slow on all 3 visits to it. Would definitley recommend the hotel when vacationing with children

On the plus side= This hotel is easy access to a fwy and a few stores. //The rooms were clean (but small)//The beds were very comfy.//The bath products were good and bigger than normal and smelled good.//basketball copurt was great cause it had a lot of hoops so more kids could play and they even had a smaller playground for smaller kids.//Pool table was a great idea, but two would have been better.//Pool bar and general store was nice, but they need to keep the same hours as the pool as we would have appreciated that extra service while they kids were swimming,//Pool hours were good and there was entertainment on the weekend nights//.They had plenty of lifegaurds and the pool bar staff was great!! Now for the bad= The bathroom leaked and tv wouldn't work, and the maintenance person just walked in without knocking TWICE even after we complained once.//room service is awful and slow//elevators were old and smelled and slow//jacuzzi's were busted//lake area smelled so bad and was so dirty you couldn't walk by without holding your breath...(thankfully we were not sleeping on that side, or we would have left the hotel).//The laundry room machines were old, rusty and broken down and took our money.//The staff was not very friendly and the kids didn't find the hotel to be all they had hoped for in terms of activities.//they were disappointed in the pool slime time as everyone crowded and they didn't get a drop as planned even though they were under it.. they need to do the slime time twice a day..// the character breakfast was not good and over-priced. Now the one thing that made our stay was a visiting military vehicle set up. We really enjoyed that and like that they do things outside of the theme.

Stayed for three nights with five kids in one two bedroom unit. Any longer may have been to long. Kids had fun every day. Only complaint was the pool we were at did not open till late on the weekends and was not open some days of the week!! Main pool was across the property, but not a bad walk. Rooom was small, but clean and the kids were satisfied.

We had a good experience at this hotel. The weather was a bit chilly and we were pleasantly surprised that the pool was heated to the perfect temperature!! The rooms are spacious, but the beds are incredibly uncomfortable. Would return, just would not expect a good night's sleep.

We had the time of our life! I'm sure my kids will remember it for the rest of their lives. Nick Hotel is what makes meomories for a "Life Time".

Our air did not work when we first arrived, after 2 calls down to the front desk, they resolved the problem.

Kids loved the pool area and amenities but as a parent I was disappointed in the condition of the hotel. I think its time for refurbishment. We had 3 adults and 2 kids in a two bedroom suite and it was not quite roomy enough especially with only 1 regular sized bathroom. Staff was super nice and accommodating especially after kids were greated by a cockroach in there room when we arrrived.

The kids had a blast. The hotel has an amazing pool area and the staff plan activities that simply keeps everyone engaged. Kids' experiences memorable. My daughters love it. Had a hard time leaving the place behind....

After reading reviews from others, we thought there would be enough to do for two days. Well, one pool and a movie theater that you have to pay $12.95 per person for is not our idea of enough things to do. The room was OK, but we would have been better off staying on Disney property.

I took my son, a girlfriend and her son to Nick Hotel. We all had a great time. The hotel was very clean. All accomodations are there at the hotel for you. They have great entertainment for the kids and the adults. I highly recommend this hotel to all families.

We didn't even have to go to Disney, everything for kids was right there. There were a few minor problems. One of the hot tubs was broke and the laundry area was not that great, but that was so minor. Overall we loved it! We will be back!

We honestly didn't think we'd like it as much, but there is a ton for the kids to do. The entire hotel is centered (literally) by the giant water park. But there is the character breakfasts, the movies, and hotel mall. It is kind of in the middle of no where; but its a short 5-10 minute drive to a strip of restaurants. There are also shuttles to the parks. Kids are still raving about it 5 days later, and we are Definitely going back next trip.

We had a great time. We have stayed there before when it was crowded. This time, there was hardly a soul in the place. The water park area was so warm and wonderful. There was an unexpected $15 parking fee for the 2nd car we took to the hotel. But there was also an unexpected $10 resort voucher included in the room price. We had a great time. I loved the room, the cleanliness and the staff.

Hotel is VERY fun especially for kids. Has so much to do you don't need to leave the hotel. Kids loved it, and we enjoyed it too. Very convinient and service is great. A bit pricey but worth it.

We found our room to be very clean, with plenty of room for a family of 5. The only negative was the bunkbeds were not very comfortable!! Otherwise had a great time and plan on going back and when we do will plan less time at the parks because the kids have such a great time at the hotel!!

My daughter was absolutely blown away with the hotel. We even took an entire day and a half just to play at the hotel! Definitely exceeded our expectations! The room was great (we had a kid suite) and the king size bed in the master was VERY comfortable! I wish I could have taken it back with me. My daughter, who is three, felt like such a big girl to have her own TV and her own room at a hotel. Having a curtain and not a door to her room proved beneficial to us as we didn't risk waking her to check on her. We will definitely stay there again. The only issue we had was with the shuttle. We rode the shuttle to Sea World one day. On the return trip the bus didn't actually stop at the bus stop, only paused and drove off (you try running after a bus with an infant and a toddler!) Security at Sea World was nice enough to contact the hotel which basically said we were on our own. There were no taxis with car seats so we had to wait over 3 hours in the dark at Sea World with security while my husband found a taxi to return him to our car so he could pick us up. It was a nightmare! The hotel has not done anything or appologized yet. That is our only complaint, and despite this we will return (we just will not take the suttles!)

I had a conference in Orlando recently, and the family, of course, wanted to come with me. Disney properties tend to have very small rooms and do not fit a family of two adults, two kids, and a small baby very well. The rooms at the Nickelodeon Family Suites were spacious, containing a large living area with kitchenette and a pull-out sofa-bed, and the kids have their own Nickelodeon themed room for themselves. The hotel had a small food court, arcade, buffet restaurant, and bar, giving you some different choices if you're confined to the grounds for a while. The pools are more like small water parks, and the equipment is geared toward younger children. Unlike some of the other reviews, I had no problem with room cleanliness. Our room was spotless upon arrival, and the maid service cleaned the room very well during our stay. On the downside, the Starwood Resort guest services people are VERY pushy about selling their vacation club. They're pleasant, but insistent, and the lecture about it from multiple people is downright annoying. Also, the parking lot security is very inconsistent about checking wristbands before opening the gate. I was there for the conference, so I didn't wear the wrist band. I got in and out of the gate for two days before I got stopped by a guard, and he was angry that I didn't automatically show the wrist band. Just an annoyance. Also, the bed in the adult room is advertised as a queen, but it has to be a double. It's just slightly small for two people, and it was a little uncomfortable, but not terrible. Also, the ironing board and iron in our room was broken. Last negative -- waiting for the one-elevator-per-building can be VERY time consuming during peak hours. Trying to get downstairs with a lot of luggage can find yourself waiting in the hallway for six or seven elevator interchange cycles with people heading down to the pool while maid head up to the other floors. Waiting for an elevator empty enough to drag in all your luggage can

I was pleased with our stay at the hotel. The deal breaker for us...unable to have guest visit you at the hotel. We had friends staying in Orlando from South Carolina. They would have had to pay $15 to park at the hotel and they could only sit in our room. They were unable to play or swim with our girls. That was a huge deal breaker. If we would have known that we would have not stayed there.

The hotel was very nice. It's a great hotel for family and kids. The hotel staff was very helpful.

My kids had a great time. Spent 8 hours a day at the pool and water slides. Food is poor not many choices. There are no other restaurants close. To order take out pizza you have to walk out to the gate to get it.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS HOTEL. SO MUCH FUN!

Very nice hotel, very comfortable. A lot of entertainment for my grandchildren we were very pleased.

This Hotel is excellent. The personal always are proviting with an excellent customer services..I will truly recomend this hotel to everybody.

very small 2 bedroom

We loved our kidsuite! It was wonderful to have a separate bedroom, a huge full kitchen, and even a huge bathroom! We were used to squeezing into a 1-room hotel room where you would have to turn sideways to walk by the beds and try not to wake anyone up because the sink was near the beds. Not here! There was room to roam, and then some!! We even had a separate 3rd sink with a vanity mirror, so you didn't have to wait if someone was in the bathroom! Even though we had a fully equipped kitchen (bowls, plates, pots, pans, utensils included!), we only ended up using the microwave. The huge refrigerator was SO much better than the little rinky dink ones at other hotels and we were able to fit all our waters and kids stuff nicely. The linens were clean and the bed was comfortable. The towels probably could've used more fabric softener, but they gave you so many that you never had to ask for more! The kitchen was also clean and the flatscreen TV was a nice touch. We did see a huge roach one night that totally freaked me out, but I had to remind myself that the door to the rooms led right to the outside and we are in the tropical region of Florida! We told the front desk about the roach and she apologized, but I felt like we should've gotten a little more sympathy. We didn't have any problems with rude workers, but some were definitely much nicer & perkier than others. That's one major difference between this hotel and a Disney hotel is that EVERYONE at Disney hotels has their nice gameface on. But like I said, there was no one who was rude. The pool area is awesome and my 4-year old son's favorite part of the whole trip, even more than the parks! We loved that it is a beach-style pool that you can just walk into instead of having to walk down stairs or a ladder. That really helped with my 1-year old daughter who can come in and out as she pleased. The slides were really cool, but my son couldn't go down all of them because he wasn't tall enough. My daughter loved this hotel. We thought it was a bit worn out. The rooms were really nice, but the ammenities could use some TLC. The pool was not heated as advertised and was quite cold. The elevator had tiles missing from the floor. The mall looked like it had seen better days.

My son and I stayed 4 nights at the hotel. We actually extended our stay for another night. My son had a blast and loved everything about the hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful and prompt with all requests. Overall the staff were friendly and nice. They have 2 swimming pools; the Oasis pool and the Lagoon pool. The Oasis pool closed early and was not the main pool with all of the activities. It is quieter at night at the Oasis pool. The Lagoon pool was much larger (main pool) and stayed open late. On the weekend, they had a dejay playing music and playing games. There was also a basketball court, mini golf, kiddie area and pool table. At the mall, there was a wonderful arcade room, stores, restaurants, movie theater and more. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was in nice shape but could use a update on the tvs and mini golf area. All 3 kids loved the hotel. Staff was very nice they all were helpful and knew the area. The directions from hotel.com was incorect and took the long way around so do call hotel for directions they can keep you off the toll roads and it is very quick and easy to find.

The Nickelodeon Hotel was a great hotel for my family. The 2 bedroom suite was spacious enough and pretty clean. My 9 yr old son and 3 yr old daughter loved every minute of the hotel from meeting the Nick characters and the many water slides and pools. 5 mins. from Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney. Great choice if you have little ones.

The pool/waterpark are awesome, but the rooms are less than desirable. Dirty spots all over the front of the fridge and the kitchen floor felt as if it had never been mopped. We were in a one bedroom suite, which had a full kitchen. Size was good for our family of four.
