We stayed in Westin for 3 nights in weekend, so it was quite busy in hotel. Westin got excellent location in the heart of Sydney city, close to shop, transports and must-sees. All services in hotel are good, bed is very comfortable as well. Apart from price is a bit high, everything perfect!

A classic. Just wonderful - probably our most enjoyable stay whilst in Sydney. The best part about it was the affordability of the price. Usually the price is quite high, but we were lucky enough to get a great price for a wonderful stay.

Modern luxury hotel in superb condition. Everything is new and clean but very, very expensive - small glass of wine USA$12-$18. It is positioned right in the CBD - easy walking to Circular Quay, Rocks, Opera House and Darling harbor - great position - the best.

Great layout, comfort, and location in Central Business District, which is the prime spot to stay other than Sydney Harbor / Rocks area. Lots of high-end shopping, bars/clubs, and landmarks nearby (e.g. Westfield Tower). Easy walk to either Sydney Harbor or Darling Harbor. HOWEVER, Westin refused my simple request on the final day to extend my checkout […] an hour from 11am to noon, making some lame excuse that they were expecting a busy rush on that Sunday. The hotel was conveniently located, it was nice. The bed was small for king size bed. We had 2 small children but not small enough to sleep in a crib and not old enough to have their own room. Great location in the centre of Martin Place, fantastic location for shopping and for sight-seeing. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Great bathroom with separate large bathtub. Leisure facilities aren't great-sauna and pool is actually in an adjoining health club-you have to take a lift, a few stairs and walk through a few fitness rooms […] to get to the pool. Separate saunas in male and female changing rooms. Swimming pool is quite small and overlooks a fitness class room. Lots of choice for breakfast. Second stay at WESTIN SYDNEY. Our first was without fault which may have set us up for a disapointment. The room has seen better days and is suffering a lot of wear and tear. "Outstanding"
It was such a joy to stay in a hotel with THE most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. We arrived early and were given a room immediately, the view was to die for. We felt the deal cost wise was excellent, with free breakfast and drinks/canapes in the evening in the executive club. Fabulous staff and service all round.

Very elegant hotel. We stayed for 5 nights at the Heritage Building. Our room was great. The hotel is very close to everything especially the main shopping district. Recommend.
"The Westin Hotel in Martin Place, Sydney"
We spent two nights for our wedding anniversary and booked a superior room in the Heritage wing. The hallway leading to the room is in need of fresh paint and the room itself was pretty dated. The bed was comfortable enough but there was no view, and the closet was small. No newspaper delivered despite the request and only three tea-bags in the complimentary […] beverages. In terms of pricing for what we got we have stayed in hotels on Central Park NYC and next to London Bridge, London for better rates and amenities. The gym & pool is not an obviously accessible - you have to follow your nose through several corridors, small staircases, through doors without signage etc. A little like Alice in Wonderland. Friendly helpful staff whom showed initiative to help you on arrival and check out. Clean large rooms and bathrooms. Excellent room service. Right on the door stop for shopping and transport. Would stay again.

Heavenly bathroom, heavenly shower, heavenly tubs. Not to mention the heavenly bed and pillows! Love the hotel. Only downside is its inconvenience to the gym, we did not utilise the gym as we find it a hassle to walk. Location is right center of CBD, if you don't mind it's fast paced working culture. Excellent location, pleasant stay. Room looked quite average for the price, however loved the layout of the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast at the executive lounge should have more variety. The feel of the hotel is quite unique: contemporary yet has a old look to it which make you feel like your in a different city.

"Great modern hotel"
Overall, this was a spectacular hotel with super modern rooms, a wonderful concierge staff, and a great location. Drawbacks: shared fitness center with limited hours and unhelpful staff and in-room internet was prohibitively expensive.
"Westin Martin Place - a haven from winter weather"
I checked in at 4pm on a dark, wet Sydney Sunday. The room was so warm and comfortable I hunkered down for the rest of the day, called up a room service dinner, and had a wonderful, peaceful afternoon and evening. Better than a spa. :-)

My husband, I and our two children aged 14 and 10 stayed here during the Easter holidays and we were hugely disappointed with the standard. We stay in 5 star hotels whenever we travel and I research my hotels very well before booking. However I made a huge mistake with this one. Having stayed at the Westin Mina Seyahi Beach, Dubai with my family on […] 3 occasions for a week each time, we found the Westin Sydney to be sorely lacking. The first incident was hairs found in room service breakfast and whilst I reported this to the manager on the phone and again in person (and didn't get an apology!), we were still charged for it. Appalling treatment from management! One of the beds was damp and smelled of vomit. The head house keeper suggested we put some extra bedding on top of it! She didnt seem very happy when I insisted we change the matress completely. This was eventually done. This was also reported to the manager in person and again no apology just a lot of head nodding and said would look into it. She didn't come back to me. Unbelievable! Many of the chairs in the dining room where we had breakfast were stained and I noticed another guest requesting her chair be changed. The dining area felt shabby and dirty. Our key cards seem to work only sporadically and so after a day of exhausting sightseeing we invaribly would have to wait outside our room for another 10-15 minutes while security came and opened the door. When asking the concierge for some advice on sightseeing, he sighed as if to say, 'tourists'! We felt like we were bothering him and didnt want to ask his advice again. Having lived in Sydney 20 years ago, I was very excited to now show my children they city I loved so much then and was so disappointed by the Westin and its poor standards. It set the tone for our holiday and really put a tarnish on our visit. Absolutely wonderful hotel. Finest I have ever stayed in. Staff were friendly and effecient and nothing was a problem. Check in and check out took seconds which was great. Room was lovely, with a fabulous shower. All in all a wonderful experience, this will be my hotel of choice when I am in Sydney. Thanks

We had a brilliant stay at the Westin in an Executive Club Superior Room. the bed was huge and comfortable, the bathroom was outstanding, with speakers within. It was very enjoyable to watch TV from the bath with proper sound. The room was checked and tidied regularly. The Executive club itself was brilliant- lovely canapes and drinks each night, and […] breakfast was also outstanding.. well apart from the scrambled eggs which did not taste eggy at all. "Westin at pit street mall sydney"
Never even knew this hotel existed! It is the must stay motel if your flying. Going through hotels.com got me and my mum a great deal. The parking is very expensive but since we didnt have a car this didnt bother us. the concierge was great and very helpful. Went down for long weekend to see a musical and it was actually around the corner from the motel! […] 'The room was spectacular and we had dinner in the restaurant which was lovely. Breakfast and cocktails were expensive but the mosaic restaurant has a $58 for two course dinner which we found great value for money. Its half a block from westfield central and myer central and 10 minute walk to the rocks. Massive room with two double beds and huge bathroom with shower and very generous bath, we stayed in the tower on the 19th floor so it was beautiful and quiet. The only thing we didn't like was that because it was the eastger weekend the sauna was closed. The other big drawback was the location of the pool and gym. You had to trek through a rabbit warren to find them and when we got there the pool was a tiny lap pool and not heated. For a weekend where shops would be closed you would think they would have a few things for you to do at the motel but there was nothing goingt on. Leer más

stayed in the westin sydney executive tower which included access to club room....could not fault the room or the bed...close to perfect for a hotel room...however the club room is lacking both in amenity and service [ i've experienced a lot of them over the years ] although it has great potential and great views , the quality of the canapes and breakfast […] does not keep up with the general standard of the hotel...compare the club rooms of the sheraton on the park [ a sister hotel ] with the westin's counterpart....no comparison ..i know this sounds like i'm quibbling but you pay $60 extra for this perk.. The Westin's rooms are without peer for the price in Sydney. My family and I have stayed at nearly two dozen hotels in the CBD and the Rocks and the Westin's dual double bed room was among the largest and definitely the most luxurious of any we've stayed in. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The check-in process was quick and painless. In […] contrast, the parking rates are exorbitant, even for Sydney. At $50 per night, it's $10-15 per night above many others in the area and double what can be found privately. Also, with a 3 year old daughter, the hotel's pool facilities are a must for our family. The Westin uses a public gym for its gym and pool facilities. They are about a 5 minute, winding walk through the hotel to find, were in disrepair, and were so ice-cold as to be unbearable. If you can do without the gym and pool, the Westin would be hard to beat. It has character, a prime location, and luxurious accommodations.
