Millennium Bailey's Hotel London Kensington

I have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. lovely rooms, everyone different although most could have do with more and better positioned electric sockets. Staff are fantastic, nothing is to much trouble. Best value/location/service hotel in London.

I selected this hotel becuse of very reasonable rates, a most convenient location, and easy and inexpensive access to Heathrow. This hotel fit the bill perfectly with the Picadilly line from the airport station directly across the street. Walking distance to 3 of the top museums a major plus. We were three women and there were only two sets of towels,not enough paper toilet, toiletries for one, and too small room to be a triple almost frightening!!!the sheets were dirty and they did not change them the second day. There was not a living room to sit for a while only a small one that was for five people max, and there was a very dark restaurant […] that made the hotel smell a bit awful!!!!!would not stay at this hotel again definetely!!!! Pros: The hotel is in a very convenient location, 10 steps from a subway station that goes straight to major places and Heathrow. there is no shortage of restaurants within 5 min walk from the hotel. across the street there is a 24/7 Tesco express, very convenient. The hotel is very pleasant in its lobby, very welcoming staff, easy check in, no issues. […] the rooms are very big compared to London standards and the price range, lots of space. Cons: Cleanliness of the room is mediocre, stains on the carpet, big rust stain in the bathtub, some mold above the bath tub. Bathtub is abnormally high from the floor, very easy to hit your knee getting in or trip getting out if your are not careful enough. TV intermittently work, you have to turn it ON/OFF few times before it works. Sound proofing is not that great, kept hearing noises of people talking or walking outside the room during the night. Beds are not very comfortable, they keep sliding away from the wall on the slightest move. Floor squeaks. overall: I would only go there again if the price was good enough. Leer más

We had a three night stay in this hotel. The hotel itself was bustling and lively downstairs and peacefull upstairs. right out side is the under ground station with a ticket office with the shortest que in London! the station is well services with three of the main lines to bring you from your door to anywhere you could wish in London. We visit London on a regular basis and booking hotels is always hit or miss. The Bailey's Millenium is by far the best hotel. The location is incredible. We left Gloucter Street tube station where we came from a direct trip from Heathrow and there was the hotel. The room was large and comfortable. Extremely helpful front desk staff.

This is a fantastically, well-located hotel. Some lovely nearby restaurants and walking distance to Museums and Harrods. Hotel is adjacent to the tube station, making it convenient for all of London. Hotel looked lovely and Christmassy. Room was small but in-ine with London. Breakfast was great. very good relaxing stay, will return soon.

Good hotel, good service; only ONE negative comment: guests on the fifth floor appear to have cold floors, with a tad of damp smell. Been to this hotel before in early summer and everything was great.

A lovely hotel with good location however the bedroom was very small. The television did not work and we had to crawl under the dressing table to plug the kettle in! Insufficient lighting in bedroom being only 2 table lamps so had to take the shades off to see. Bathroom was very small with a crack in the sink and creaking floorboards!! The room was far too small but when I went to reception and express my concerns they changed the room very quickly. The new room was far better and much bigger. The original room had a half used bottle of coke still in the fridge, and the bed was against the wall on one side so one had to climb over your partner in order to get into bed- not good for […] the cost of the room!. This is a great hotel with friendly staff across the street from a tube station. Great service, large room and world charm at a reasonable price.

A really nice clean hotel with very friendly staff, good comfortable beds, flat screen TV. Right next to underground station. Good eating houses within yards of the front door.

Glocester Road Station at the doorstep make travelling from Heathrow and all parts of the city very convenient. There are sufficient eateries in the location as well, so there is little need to venture out for a dinner if you choose not to do so. In all, will return again.

A well situated hotel, especially within walking distance to the Royal Albert Hall and the musuems. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel is perfect as it is opposite the Gloucester tube station. We will be staying again when we visit the Royal Albert Hall next time. Booked for a two night stay but was given a smoking room which was a real shame. The hallway smelt of smoke but was open so led into the hallway of all the other non smoking rooms, so they must have smelt too. Felt to bit too over priced for what we got. Wouldn't stay again. Location was right next to the tube stop so was ideal.

The staff make this place. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Love it

Prime location adjacent to Gloucester Road Staion with shops, supermarket, banks and coffee houses just across the road. Good, safe area and well off the busy Cromwell Road. Hotel staff conspicuously friendly, cheerful, well informed and outgoing - without exception, keen to help as required.

Across from Underground. Ask to see a number of rooms before taking one. Teapot did not work, new one brought in but no easy access outlet.

Great location; across the street from the tube station and an adequate number of restaurants. The only complaints... - Hot water was not very hot and took a long time to get to get to a decent temperature - Pillows were not very comfortable Minor issues really

Stayed here over a Friday and Saturday night. Really enjoyed. Great location and room very comfortable. One gripe was that wifi was £20 and not free! Would definately stay here again and recommend to others.

we stayed 3 days late October and everything worked out well. Room was spacious and clean (we booked standard room) and service was as we needed it: helpful with questions without doing the servant thing all the time. Location is difficult to beat if you like to visit various parts of London.

Needed place to stay for 3 day business trip. Location is right on the Picadilly tube line, so access to both Heathrow and the rest of the city is great. You're not going to get a palace-sized room, but it is charming, clean, and updated, with a comfortable bed. The hotel bar is nice, but expensive.

Perfectly located next to Glocester Road tube station and short walk to V&A and Kensington shops and restaurants. As mentioned by others attentive and pleasant staff who were excellent. Bar was good with acoustic guitar session on Thursday evening. Room on 1st floor overlooking street was a little "tired" but suprisingly quiet with no disturbance to […] sleep over the 3 nights we stayed. All in all I heartily recommend this hotel for a leisure break. One black mark was price of Breakfast -£15.50/£18.00. May suit the business traveller but not attractive for a retired couple. The Bailey's has managed to bring together the most helpful, efficient and friendly hotel team I've ever encountered. Led by the fantastic Sarah nothing is too much trouble for them. we stayed in this hotel for 4 days. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. the hotel has a great location just outside of the underground station and easy access to the center of london. i would stay in this hotel again

Great staff, good service. 1st hotel room smelled musty, but got changed to another room which was very comfortable and larger. Area felt safe. Only complaint was that after our initial three day booking when we tried to extend it for the whole week given our satisfaction, hotel rate jumped considerably for one night and then went down up again but […] never to initial rates. I think management should consider overall client retention and rethink that policy. Especially when it's an overall stay of 7 nights or longer. Overall great satisfaction, especially with staff. The Millenium Baileys is a well placed hotel but because of the location the road noise is quite substantial.

my partner and i went three night city break in london in august 2011, we stayed in the millenium bailey hotel, which had a fantastic location! fall out the door and you're practically in the tube station, all the main sights and the hotel are on the same tube line and in the same zone, this made travel both cheap and convenient. the neighbourhood was […] great also, safe and friendly bars and restaurants. the hotel is lovely if slightly outdated, although it may be argued that this in some way added to its charm. the only complaint that i would have was that ceiling panelling had been taken down and propped up directly outside of our room, this was both hazardous and unsightly, however a fairly minor complaint. really enjoyed the trip and am already recommending this hotel to family and friends planning trips to london. We were in Europe for two weeks and stayed at Bailey's for four days. It was the nicest 4 Star Hotel during our travels. Two of four hotels were a disappointment as the photo shopped images did not represent the hotel. Perfectly located hotel for exploring central London; the Tube station is literally across the road. My only compliant was that it was not possible to open a window and the AC was loud and inefficient leading to several uncomfortable nights sleep.

Absolutely fantastic location: underground station on your doorstep, museums and other attractions very close by, upmarket neighbourhood surroundings. However, compared to some more modern four-star hotels in the same part of town, Baileys was a bit of a let down, especially looking at the bathroom. It does look a bit old, plus the room was poorly lit […] due to our window facing onto the courtyard where the air-conditioning generators were based therefore creating a lot of noise. Otherwise the room was perfectly fine, with a very comfy bed, tv, desk and everything else. We enjoyed it because we stayed there for one night only. This Hotel is a an average hotel for the price range, well situated for local shops, cafes, eateries and ideally situated opposite the Gloucester road tube station. Superb location,friendly staff.Not at the same level of a four star in Dubai but overall not bad.

The Millenium Bailey Hotel in South Kensington was truly lovely. Loved having the tube station directly across the street and the hotel was charming. I will return.

The hotel is well located, across the street from the tube station, in a nice area with lots of good restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped and there is a very good Italian restaurant on the groound floor; with a bar (you can have a drink outside). For the price, it's a very good buy.
