Este hotel es muy recomendable, pero las 2 camas gemelas en las habitaciones dobles son demasiado pequeñas.

El hotel es bueno pero está un poco alejado del centro y para salir de noche e ir a las zonas más animadas (Picadilly, Covent Garden, etc) es preciso tomar un autobús (los taxis son caros) que tarda unos 15 minutos (sin contar el tiempo de espera y que de noche disminuye la frecuencia). Me gustó mucho el hotel, que sin ser el más moderno ni el más nuevo del mundo, me resultó muy confortable, muy limpio y bien ubicado. Cerca del metro y de una calle comercial con muchos autobuses a puntos de interés, fue un punto de partida estupendo para visitar la ciudad. Great hotel, great location only downside is that it is a bit pricey

Got a deal on the hotel for January, very impressed by the location, perfect to get anywhere else in town, and easy walking distance as well. Very nice little cafe around the corner as well! All told, the hotel is pretty tried, and the rooms aren't very exciting. Clean enough though. But don't expect too much!

The hotel is just a couple of minutes from the tube, and in a comfortable and calm neighbourhood. The surrounding area has some dining possibilities, but it isn't one of the best London locations for eating. The hotel itself is faded - not so much shabby as dated. Perfectly clean and functional, but showing its age.

I found this hotel the day before arrival, it is a descent hotel well placed in Kensington. However it needs an overhaul the room was clean but part of the furniture was used and old. Great location, only issue for me was the air conditioning in the room. The windows could not be opened and the air conditioning could not be completely turned off so the environment was quite artificial.

Had a 1 night stay here, we arrived at 11.30am - more than 2 hours before check in, but the room was ready and we checked in straight away, all staff were very helpful with anything we asked - even planing our tube journey to piccadilly. The hotel is a 3 minute walk to the tube station which was ideal. Our room was very clean and had everything we could […] possibly need - although my other half did struggle with the iron as it wasn't a steam type... bless him! We didnt have breakfast here as we went out for it, but we were given vouchers with money off should we need it. This hotel is in a great area with great restaurants, shops, tube etc close by. However the hotel needs a re-furbishment both outside and inside. In the bathroom the wall finish over the bath was peeling in several places. Nothing pristine about it. The bar has no atmosphere and shares a space with the breakfast room. The staff was rude, my booking for the room was lost. cleaning of the room was bad ! the bed were never made for 4 days.

The hotel was surprisingly good and classy. The only problem was, that you could hear the trains going past, but it was actually kind of soothing

The hotel was exactly what i needed for my visit to London but unforunately the constant train sevice running outside my room kept me awake most of the night. Next time a room on the other side of the hotel!

Bed small and squeaky but otherwise clean and comfortable.could do with a couple of things in frdge just for arrival. dossapointed that Bugis St was closed on the evening of the 2nd despite brochure in room saying otherwise

very close to tube station and surrounding sights. hotel is clean and comfortable. we were able to book tickets to a showin reception and the food and bar were good though quite expensive compared to places outside. compared to the cost, this hotel was amazing than i expected. especially the location is great to access to the central and underground & bus station. the room was clean and warm. Id like to recommend this hotel to other people as it's very reasonable hotel not only for the cost but for convenience and coziness!

Having read some of the reviews about the Copthorne on Trip advisor I was a liitle concerned about my choice. However the Hotel is in a brilliant, convenient location being only a short walk from Kensington High Street Station. The staff at the hotel were very polite and offered an excellent standard of service. Our room although a little dated was […] very comfortable, clean and welcoming after a hard days shopping/sight seeing. For the price in London was very good. Convenient location, reasonable sized room, everything worked, good area.

Restaurants, location, and service was good. The only thing to be aware of is that at some point, you get what you pay for (less than elsewhere) as at first glance, the hotel looked good (and was certainly clean) but the quality of the furnishings were poor - pressed, peeling board on some of the chairs, desks, etc... Most staff very helpful, one or two a touch surly. Meal in hotel poor and a feeling that the staff wanted us out of the restaurant quickly.

We stayed at the London Tara for two nights and on the Friday evening visited the Bugis St restaurant. The food and service were excellent - a hidden gem which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Our stay was very comfortable. The building is getting old and you can see it in details, but it is still nice for the prize (especially if you can get a discount). Don't mind the photos with "horrible" details, it's much better in reality. The hotel is near Hyde Park or Natural Museum and Kennsington itself is a nice part of London. We also had full […] english breakfast in the room and it was SO big... Staff was ok, always ready to help. The only problem is internet connetion (no Wi-Fi in the rooms and expensive cable connection), but it is still highly recommended - you can get much smaller rooms in worst parts of London for almost the same price. To start with, we parked under the hotel. Parking is limited, but that's the chance you take. It was £10, very cheap. The front desk service was good, the room was spot on, very clean and ideal for a nights stay (or more) We didn't have breakfast although it looked good enough. The hotel is a little tired but not shabby. A block from the Kensington high st tube, so really easy to get into London. good shopping in the area. The Concierge staff were great. Very pleased with the Copthorne Tara kensington Hotel. Got a really good deal from hotels.com and it was well worth it. Our room was looking onto tracks on the 1st floor but the noise was minimal. Good hotel overall, pleasant reception, room comfortable and spotlessly clean, breakfast room a little overcrowded with service suffering a little because of this, pretty pleased with our 2 night stay. But booking a parking space ahead of arrival date was not easy. This hotel is located 2 blocks from High St. Kensington station and all the shopping. It is a well lit area for nighttime walking. Hotel was clean, staff was pleasant and helpful. Good location with 3 minutes walk from Underground Station. Very quiet atmospheare with convienient location. Staff are very friendly, and room is bit bigger than others in London. Wifi is 15 ponds per night, but if you stay longer than 4days, it will be 5 pounds a night. I recomend this hotel.

The hotel is in a good location - just around the corner from High Street Kensington tube station... but its busy. Full of tourists from all parts of the world. Queue to check in, queue for breakfast, queue to check out. Breakfast was the worst I've ever experienced. It was more like feeding time at the zoo than the quiet gradual awakening time I like!! […] If you turned too quickly, you'd bump into someone. 4 stars it certainly is not, but rather big, dated and not service-orientated. The room looked like it had not been refurbished since the late 80s. However, the location is great for easy access to the tube and High St Ken shops.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the Copthorne Tara Hotel, and i would have to say we were very satisfied with it overall. We chose it on the basis of price and location, and it didn't let us down on either front. The concierges and other staff were very friendly and helpful, despite it seeming like an extremely busy hotel. It is less than 5 minutes […] walk from high street Kensington tube station. Once you have mastered the tube map, it makes access to all areas of London very easy. I would recommend purchasing a day pass for the tube. The Kensington area is beautiful.
