The Delphina gives a discount in the hotel's restaurant for Starwood members, we did'nt eat in the hotel, but that is a plus. It's a fine hotel, but a little overpriced in comparison to others in the same area and star-rating. Next time we will stay a bit closer to the beach or promanade.

It was needed for me to stay at this location as I had an event that I had to attend closeby. Liked it will reccomend it to others and if in the area again will stay there.

Hotel lobby and Bar are nice. The rooms are a bit outdated.

This hotel is very nice and it is the quality you would expect from Sheraton. However, there is no fridge ($25 extra), and the walls are PAPER thin. I was woken up at 8AM to the vacuum cleaner of housekeeping, two rooms down. Nothing is a secret here. If you dont bring earplugs and you have a neighbor who is just even talking a little bit, forget about […] sleep. Delfina is conveniently situated a stones throw away from the hive of activity. Will definitely recommend this to anyone.

Nice hotel . . . but it should be for the nightly charge we paid. Had I realized what we paid, I might have expected more.

I was already having second thoughts when I saw what the hotel looked like from the outside. However, the interior turned out to be nice. The room was a bit bleak. This is a good location as its near Venice beach etc. and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The reception staff were very nice, however the restaurant waitress was a little grumpy. We didn’t have free internet access, but in the business suite you do and you can print out your boarding passes for free (allowed up to 5 pages of A4 for free). The staff at the hotel is very professional and helpful. The hotel itself is in very good condition and the rooms are clean. Be mindful of the hotel's policy of allowing guests to have dogs in their rooms. We had a dog in the next room that was noisy, especially at night. The Staff were extremely nice and pleasant to deal with. The location is not bad at all. A quick 10 minute walk to the beach and 20 minutes to the shops. Rooms are a bit tired but not enough to complain. The beds are extremely comfortable. The TV worked well as did the air conditioning. Everything was wonderful about my stay, the decoration was tastefully elegant; the employees were lovely; and the location was perfect walk to the beach. My only regret is that I was there for business and had to spend my time in meetings. So I basically ask clients if they could meet me at the hotel. And they did.

This hotel is great if you don't mind walking a bit or driving to other destinations in Santa Monica. The only real issue I had was the following. When my friend asked the valet for a cab, he instead called for a private car to take us no more than 10 minutes away and the driver wanted $25! We were able to negotiate down $5, but I was embarrassed by […] the situation anyway. The driver was nice enough to offer a ride back when we were done with dinner, but it is totally inappropriate for the valet to do this. Leer más

Hotel was stylish and comfortable, beds particularly and rooms spacious. Just 10 minutes walk to main shopping area and about 15 minutes to the beach. Ideal location and great friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

so seamless and the staff was amazing - so friendly and accommodating. would definitely go back. only complaint was the pool side restaurant and food. my chicken wrap was really bland and the waitress was not very good either - she brought out the food for the 2 other people I was with a good 15 minutes before bringing mine out. not a big deal at all […] but was strange. i will tell my friends about the great experience here. :) Leer más

Booked this hotel on-line thinking it would be a special treat to the end of a month of travelling the US staying at various hotels. Complete disappointment. Upon arrival I specifically requested a room with a "pleasant outlook" and was informed all the ocean view rooms were filled however ours overlooked the pool. Our room overlooked the wall of the […] next door building - more specifically, the noisy air conditioner, complete with cigarette butt on our balcony. From the moment we arrived we felt uncomfortable. Perhaps it was our shabby unkempt look that the staff were unhappy with - they were less than helpful bordering on rude. Observing their attitude to well dressed business men/women was the complete opposite to our treatment. Needless to say, we cancelled the next morning rather than stay a further 3 nights. Would never recommend any Sheraton anywhere after this disastrous experience. Leer más

Good hotel, a little bit dated, could do with a make over - but the bed was comfy and the room was a good size.. Location was great, 10 min walk from Santa Monica Pier and very close to the shopping near by.. Consierge was super helpful which made our life easy.

Very nice place and staff, comfortable beds, clean rooms, nice amenity areas, very close to all Santa Monica has to offer! Would definitely stay there again!

Good location and nice people of the hotel.

A big plus is the free lobby wifi and self-paring. great location and nicely appointed.

It is a reasonably good location for santa monica but still about a 20 min walk to the row of restaurants and pier. It's a long way from other sightseeing things in LA such as Hollywood, movie studio's etc The hotel reception is lovely however the rooms are not what I expected from the photos. The first room we had was small and right on the back of […] street which was noisy with traffic as we were low down. Also there was a loud humming noise from an extractor as we were at the end of the building. We asked for another room however they were fully booked for the night but offered us a better room the following day as we were staying 5 nights. The other room was much bigger and nicer, it had a balcony and a view of the sea but we were now on a main road and it was quite noisy. We were higher up so not too much a problem when you shut the balcony door. The beds are comfortable so we slept well (with earplugs). We found some reception staff to be a little snotty, some members of the concierge and car parking men were mostly very nice and friendly although others were snotty. The food at the restaurant bar was not very good and arrived cold but was too tired to make a fuss. All in all, not the best hotel but ok. Definately not worth it's star rating or price. Leer más

Easy to get find and get to. Both free and valet parking. In room Internet expensive, but free in common areas. Clean rooms. half mile from Santa Monica Pier. Common areas beautifully reappointed, my room perfectly fine, but also due for renovations. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Only good thing about this hotel is you can walk to the beach and the Urth Cafe is a few blocks over. Old and rundown. Not even enough outlets to plug in a hairdryer and curling iron in the bathroom. Drinks were over priced. O paid 15 dollars for a white Russian.

Pool and pool area was very small. We were unable to secure any lounge chairs, so we sat in the shade on a couch. The pool service was poor and the waiter ignored us, so we ordered from the bartender, same for lunch. He seemed irritated that he had to serve everyone. Drinks were very pricey. Although the hotel was pleasant-looking and reasonably-priced, it was not customer-friendly in several ways. When I wanted to have lunch at 1:45pm, I was told I could in the lounge. But there were no staffers there (they were cleaning up a private party at the pool). There was no place to get a newspaper at that time. A very loud musician played in […] the lobby until 10pm and the sound boomed into my room, one floor up. This hotel, although it looks very appealing, is way overpriced for what you get. When I booked a Deluxe Room, I expected to have at least a refrigerator in the room but I was wrong. No fridge. The view of the ocean was okay, once you got past the run down neighborhood that the hotel is located in. Located right across from Santa Monica High School […] so don't go when school's in session or you will probably rate the hotel even lower than I did. Thin walls too so don't make too much noise. Hotel is decent place to stay. Staff is attentive and cordial and the accommodations comfortable and clean. Only criticism I have is that the place needs a more robust "business" center. They had one printer and copier. The copier was broken and the printer was out of ink with no back up at the hotel. The hotel has a perfect location, max 10min walk to the Santa Monica's pier and beach. The staff were friendly and the food at the restaurant delicious. I saw some of the reviews weren't so positive, but I have nothing to say against this hotel, I would recommend it and stay there again myself.
