This hotel retains the olde world elegance of the Irish gentry. Comfortable, Clean and convenient . Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was served amid crisp white tablecloths, hot ham on the bone! wonderful! Thank you

We got a good deal on rooms at the Dunraven Arms Hotel. We would have paid twice as much. The rooms were large, airy, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar food was very good. Our only complaint was that there were no coffee makings in the room. The breakfast staff happily provided us with a pot of good strong coffee to […] take up to our room. Lovely hotel and will return. This was our 4th time at the hotel.Only complaint was on the food side. A delightful hotel, full of character. Our room was light, airy and very comfortable. The hotel is located in the pretty village of Adare. Overall our stay at The Dunraven Arms was very pleasant. However, the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room was slightly irritating and the overcrowded bar was frustrating when we were hoping for a quiet […] pre-dinner drink. The hotel serves bar food, which looked very appetising, but there is insufficient facility for this food to be consumed whilst allowing the other hotel residents to purchase and enjoy a quiet drink in the bar. The village of Adare is very pretty, if not a little 'touristy', and Adare's restaurants charge high prices for meals, albeit serving excellent food. Leer más

Great location, great accomodation, great food. Only downside was a delay in getting our room but this was compensated for by the dinner & the breakfast (Baked ham carved fro the bone)

Full of 'old world' charm. Really liked the feeling of peace, quiet and comfort. Bedroom was really lovely, spacious and welcoming with a lovely garden view. An ideal destination for a little pampering.

The hotel was very nice (other than the bed being a little hard.) I saw one review that said the hotel was a bit "posh" -- I now understand that to mean snooty. I felt that all Adare had an attitude problem and did not take well to Americans in jeans and t-shirts. We even felt uncomfortable in the hotel's bar. I enjoyed my stay immensely except for the wedding party roaring in the hall and the garden at 3 and 4 am on Friday and Saturday nights. The room was very comfortable and the bed linens and the bath towels were all top notch. The breakfast was very nice and I cant say enough good things about the staff. True 5 star service. Helpful, polite and efficient. […] Unfortunately the pool area and exercise equipment are very sad for the over all quality of this hotel. An update is badly needed when the economy takes a turn for the better. The pool and exercise equipment would not keep me from returning. The noisy wedding partys wouldnt stop me from coming back either. The staff did go out and ask them to quiet down. It didnt help much but they responded. Over all a 4 star hotel with 5 star service. The staff in the Dunraven Arms could not be more cooperative. Despite breakfast being buffet our requests for fresh cooked items was met instantly with a smile. Location is ideal to walk everywhere in the small village.

The hotel was lovely, and was a lot bigger than it looked from the outside. The rooms were clean and spacious and very inviting. We had a great time.

Hotel either got our booking mixed up with someone else or misplaced our booking. But we were told on day we to arrive that we were not staying in hotel that night. But they did arrange to put us up in the Adare Manor Club house. Everyone else who stayed there was very happy.

We stayed here for a wedding and the room was beautiful. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

this hotel is located in the beautiful village of Adare the room I stayed in was clean and spacious the leisure centre has a small gym with a limited amount of excerise equipment there is a good pool area. the bar area and food were good and the staff were friendly and helpful overall my stay was a pleasent one.

We stayed in the hotel for a wedding, everything was perfect. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Food was much higher quality than one would expect at a wedding. Staff were unbelievably kind and firendly at all times. The leisure centre was peaceful and relaxing. Nothing was too much trouble, and at all times there was a sense of calm and friendliness […] through out the hotel. The only two small down sides were that the bedroom was extremely warm even when we turned the radiator down and it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities up in the bedroom. I would highly recommend The Dunraven Arms Hotel on your way to or from Shannon airport. It's an easy half hour drive. The town of Adare has the typical Irish Pubs and there is a great tourist shopping area close by. Everything is withing walking distance. There is also a lovely park woth walking paths across from the Hotel. The Hotel has a regal feel […] to it and was exteremley comfortable. Leer más

Very convenient with helpful staff, although some did struggle with English language! They were very obliging in storing our golf clubs in a Manager's room. The only downside was a rather noisy wedding on our second with guests using the garden, which our room overlooked. Finally got to sleep at 3am!

The rooms are big, there is no ice machines, some of the room furniture showed signs of heavy wear and tear. Staff were generally nice and the hotel gardens are the best I have ever seen for a non-luxury hotel.

Nice hotel, stayed in the old part with large room. Great location for Adare.

Lovely hotel though a bit on the "poshy" side. Make sure you have a room on the first floor if possible.

Hotel has a lot of character but the service is horrible. One morning 7 other guests and my husband and I were left outside the breakfast room, in the dark, looking for a light switch and wondering why the room was locked well past the start of breakfast and when someone finally did come they didn't even apologize. My husband and I spent a night here in July. When we arrived we were met by a friendly member of staff. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and there was a good selection of food to dhoose from.

Nice atmosphere and sense of the old ireland. We stayed in the old part of the inn and it was very satisfactory. We had a problem in the restaurant and "John" more than exceeded our expectations in addressing the problem.

Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, while having a very nice gym and pool on site was an added bonus. The hotel is quite central to all you'd want to walk to in the very pretty village of Adare. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable in a very cute town. We only had a one night stay on our trip but wished we had planned another night in this hotel as it was a nice relaxing place.

very comfortable hotel. service was very good. staff very helpfull.only problem was that the heating was on all night which made it a bit uncomfortable but apart from that would definately recommend it and would definately go back.

Wir haben vier Tage unseres heurigen Irlandurlaubes im Dunraven Arms Hotel - gebucht über Hotels.com - verbracht und können das Hotel nur bestens weiterempfehlen! Der Empfang war freundlich, kompetent und rasch, unser Zimmer sehr groß, sehr hell, dazu ein großes Badezimmer (Wanne, WC, Waschbecken) und ein mindestens gleich großer begehbarer Schrankraum […] mit ebenfalls großem Waschbecken und Spiegel! Kein Stau bei der Morgentoilette - was für ein Luxus! Das Hotel liegt zwar direkt an der (gut befahrerenen) Hauptstraße, allerdings war unser Zimmer in einen schönen Innengarten gelegen und völlig ruhig. Das Restaurant: großes Frühstücksbuffet mit reichlich Auswahl aus 'full cooked Irish breakfast' genau so wie Yoghurt und Früchte oder Cereals. Wenn man - so wie wir einige Male - kurz vor dem Ende der Frühstückzeit in das Restaurant kommt, ist immer noch alles ausreichend verfügbar. Warme Speisen werden laufend ergänzt. Auch zum Abendessen haben wir das freundliche, kompetente und rasche Service sehr genossen und mehrmals im Restaurant gegessen, wobei dieses elegant wirkt und mehrere kleinere Räume umfaßt. Einziger Nachteil: Die angebotene Speisekarte ändert sich kaum (währen unserer vier Tage wurden nur die Deserts leicht variiert). Allerdings ist die Zubereitung sehr gut und ausreichend - nachgeliefert wird ohne Probleme, sollte es doch zu wenig sein. Was wir besonders positiv gefunden haben: während unseres Aufenthaltes fanden an zwei Abenden große Hochzeitsempfänge statt, wobei wird dadurch weder im Restaurant beeinträchtigt wurden - es dauerte kaum länger von der Bestellung bis zum Servieren, noch in der Nachtruhe gestört wurden. Noch ein paar Worte zur Lage: Gleich gegenüber befinden sich eine Reihe von sehr nett anzusehenden schilfgedeckten Cottages, mit Cafés, Restaurants oder Geschäften. In kurzer Entfernung gibt es den großen Park von Adare Manor samt Golfplatz, in dem man, auch wenn man nicht Gast im gleichnamigen Hotel ist, besuchen kann. Vom Tourist Office in Leer más

Førsteklasses hotell i nydelige omgivelser midt i Adare.

We stayed for 2 nights for business reasons near Adare and were absolutely satisfied. Adare has lovely restaurants for an excellent dinner.
