Lo recomiendo sin duda alguna...hotel tranquilo con pocas habitaciones....servicio excelente y en una zona muy buena de la isla. Sin duda alguna repito la próxima vez que vaya a Barbados

"NIce Hotel with great access to local beach"
This hotel is lovely in many respects. They have a walk through the gulley in the morning to look for monkeys, a shuttle service to two different beaches and are close to some really nice restaurants. "Bougainvillea hotel"
It was a nice atay for a week and just a cab ride to anywhere with tour busses available to come to your door. Very cool!!!

For the price, I was hoping for better service from the restaurant and front desk staff. Bellhops and maids were the nicest of all encountered. Very nice view of the beach and ocean. Quick cab rides to areas with restaurants/night life.
"Loved the Bougainvillea"
The resort was well maintained but the people were the real gem. They were very friendly and extremely helpful. The entire staff went out of their way to make sure my stay was pleasant. The island as a whole was warm and welcoming. As a woman travelling alone, I felt very safe and comfortable in Barbados. Now for the resort...the pool area was beautiful, […] complete with a swim up bar. The grounds were spotless at all times. The gym was well equipped, clean and nicely air conditioned. A trainer is available too. There are two restaurants and I preferred the Waters Edge over The Latern. The rooms were nicely equipped, well maintained and had the most comfortable bed. When it comes to beaches, it was simply paradise. The constant beeze, sounds of waves crashing and crystal blue water were so relaxing. Of course, there are many beach vendors that come by but all are friendly and respectful. I've travelled all over the Caribbean and have to say that I will return to the Bougainvillea. Leer más

"Bougainvillea in Barbados- amazing! (and value!)"
We just spent the past week at Bougainvillea for our honeymoon, and can't say enough about how wonderful it was. Our 1BR studio had been upgraded to a suite, and was extremely spacious and well-appointed with a full kitchen. The fitness center is one of the best I've seen (and I travel a lot). The staff was extremely accommodating, and stepped in to […] help with small things before even being asked (for example, I had trouble with my gym access key and a staff member came to help before I even had the chance to ask for assistance). The beach is terrific- we went for a 4hr walk along the coast and saw that many other resorts have rocky or unusable beaches, but ours had a lot of sand, calm but fun waves, and no rocks. The location is very convenient to attractions- we only rented a car one day and relied on the buses or walked the rest of the trip. The neighborhool seemed safe and we walked back from the bus each night with no concerns at all. September is the slow season so the Buon Amici restaurant was closed and the Thurs night show was cancelled, but Lanterns restaurant was good, the service was great, and we took the bus to some terrific restaurants in the area. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job. It looked like they had a strong children's activity center, and we would think about having a family vacation here in the future. Overall, an absolutely fabulous hotel and you just can't beat the value. I can't believe how little we paid for such a great resort! I would have expected to pay much, much more for a hotel this nice. Leer más

"Very nice room and excellent for a week or two"
We enjoyed the Bougainvillea Resort for its attractive landscaping, nice beach and spacious lay out with two pools etc. The room was more spacious than we expected with a large sectional sofa, double (but not quite big enough!) bed and the bathroom was adequate though lacked a tub. Kitchen facilites were good if you were staying for a week or two.Nice […] welcome with rum punch and cookies and very friendly and welcoming. We did not think the food in either restaurant was very good and could certainly be improved! Buffet breakfast was dry and overcooked,($19 US) fruit very basic and unexciting, service excellent however. Buoni Amici - the dinner restaurant - was disappointing - swordfish was a frozen fillet and not fresh, 'tuscan potatoes' again from frozen.($35US) Maybe other dishes were better? "Wonderful"
The hotel and grounds were beautiful. The room was very roomy, with a separate bedroom, kitchen and large balcony with furniture overlooking the pool and gorgeous beach. The staff was nice, sending me a surprise bottle of champagne on my birthday. There was a manager's happy hour, which had music, snacks, rum punch and a band, all for free. We only […] ate at one of the restaurants (Lanterns by the Sea) and only for breakfast, which was fine. The only negatives were that the bed was a bit harder than I would expect now-a-days, and the maid could take a little more care cleaning the bathroom mirror and windowsill. "Bouganvillea, boa localização"
Para quem quer descansar o Hotel esta muito bem localizado, local muito calmo e tranquilo, a paraia é quase particular e um show a parte. A infra estrutura é muito boa, o pessoal muito gentil e o atendimento é de primeira. O unico inconveniente é a falta de algum lugar próximo para se comprar algo pois o Hotel não oferece este serviço.
