Buen hotel, buena ubicación, pero al pedir las habitaciones solicitar que sean del edificio principal. En la parte de atras, en la entrada al pequeño parking, tienen unas habitaciones, que estando bien, no son como las del edificio principal y hay que salir al patio, lo cual en invierno y nevando como nos pasó a nosotros es ... Por lo demas muy recomendable.

Nos ha encantado. Esperabamos algo peor por ser un dos estrellas pero la limpieza es excelente. Lo que falla un poquito es la ubicación, está a unos 10 minutos del centro, pero para quién no le importe andar esos 10minutitos de mas está genial. Tenemos muy claro que si volvieramos a ir cogeriamos otra vez el mismo hotel.

Sin duda repetiria en este hotel si fuera otra vez a Brujas. Servicio con máxima amabilidad, limpieza sobresaliente en las habitaciones y en todo el hotel. Por lo que pude ver, es un hotel familiar y son ellos los que se encargan de todo. Por ello cuidan todo. Ubicación muy buena ya que en 10 min estas en el centro caminando.Genial de verdad!!!!!

"Kid Friendly Central Hotel in Ghent"
This is an exceptional Hotel. I never write reviews normally but felt I should share this ! For a 3 * this is very impressive. We travelled as a family of 4 with an 11 yr old and 13 yr old sharing our room. We had a kingsize sofa bed for the kids that split into 2 singles....ideal. The buffet breakfast was wonderful ,with a huge choice and excellent […] standard. We normally stay in 4 or 5 * and could see no difference. ALL the staff were very friendly and quick to give local tips on where to visit. The kids loved the free Christmas chocolates and gifts on arrival and we couldn't pull them off the x box in reception ! "Excellent location"
This is the second time I have stayed here with the children. The value of this hotel is good for Belgium and Ghent is very nice. The kids ate free breakfast which makes it a good deal. Overall I found the hotel to be clean, rooms ok, beds comfortable, bathroom a bit worn, but pleasant enough.
This hotel was convenient to all sights. An excellent place to stay in ghent. We were there for the start of the festival and were sorry that we couldn't have stayed longer. The breakfast was good. The rooms were well organised and the staff very very helpful. Overall very pleased with the accommodation.

This is a very well maintained hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Front desk extremely helpful. Breakfast was great. It is in the center of all of the action and close to several tram stops. Also reasonable price for its location.
"Central but in the middle of a building site"
Cons: Getting there by car is a bit of a nightmare due to the many one way systems and pedestrian areas in Gent. We had to ask someone to find the hotel (my Tom Tom did not find its location). It was midnight when i arrived with our 2 children and the check-in was quick and easy. Tried to order room service but nobody answered the telephone so we went […] to bed hungry which was a real shame. There is a massive building site right outside the hotel so you cannot drive your car anywhere near it (luckily we only had hand luggage). We parked in the nearby Vrijtagmarkt car park from where it's a 5 minute walk and only stayed one night. Pros: Having said all that, the centre of Gent is a beautiful place and I'm sure once they finish the massive building works, it will be easier to access the hotel as its location is brilliant! I would give it a 5 rating then. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, kids ate and stayed for free which was an excellent bonus. The beds and room were comfortable and I would definitely stay again particularly as I want to spend longer in Gent. Top Tip: If you are going to stay here with children, make an effort to visit the castle which is only 5-10 minute walk. It's fabulous (I'll write a separate review on tripadvisor.) Leer más

Good location for Ghent as everything to see is within walking distance. The Novotel is a well located hotel with friendly staff however the garage is very small and expensive. The room allocated to me had a smell of urine when I entered, I complained and was told that there were no other rooms and that somebody would call to the room to resolve the […] problem, nobody ever came. "Hotel in Gent midden in het centrum"
Het hotel ziet er netjes uit alleen hangt er een vreemde geur. Het hotel is nodig toe aan een opknapbeurt vooral de gangen waar vieze vloerbedekking ligt net als in de kamers zelf. Wat ik erg vies vindt is dat er honden mee mogen in het hotel. Combinatie hond en vloerbedekking komt niet fris over. Ook de honden mogen het restaurant in ook dat is smerig […] . От жд вокзала на первом трамвае 10 минут. Отель расположен в самом центре, 5 минут пешком до всех достопримичательностей. Большой и удобный номер, большая ванная комната, туалет с душем отдельно. В номере был чайник. Интернет бесплатно только в холле. Шикарный завтрак!!! Смело могу рекомендовать этот отель!!!

In de herfstvakantie hebben wij een nachtje met onze twee kinderen in het Novotel Gent doorgebracht. De locatie van het hotel is prima, midden in de stad. Parkeren kan in de eigen parkeergarage. Hôtel très bien situé. Plein centre ville. Chambre très très spacieuse pour une famille de 4, tout confort, au calme et avec belle vue. Les enfants ont apprécié leur espace séparé. Un seul point négatif : le parking. Très difficile d'accès.

een goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding. De ligging is werkelijk fantastisch en het ontbijt ook. Wij hadden een mooie superior kamer, lekker ruim met een goed bed. Helaas, maar daar kan het hotel niets aan doen, werden we meerdere keren per nacht wakker door schreeuwende mensen die uit het uitgaansgebied kwamen. Nous avons passés un agréable moment. L'accueil a été plus que parfait. Le seul bémol une moquette vieillit et le garage trop juste en place comme en manœuvre!

Un hotel en plein centre de Gent, trés proche de tous les lieux touristiques (- de 10 mn à pied). L'hotel possède un petit parking en sous-sol, trés pratique quand on connait la difficulté de se garer en Belgique. A part la moquette des couloirs pour accéder aux chambres légèrement défraichie, un trés beau standing. Le restaurant de l'hotel se trouve […] dans une cave voutée magnifique. Une piscine, malheureusement en réfection lors de mon séjour est à disposition. Les chambres sont grandes et propres avec sdb séparée des toilettes. Ma chambre donnait sur le patio interieur de l'hotel d'où une trés grande tranquilité. quant au personnel, il n'y a rien à redire à part qu'il sont extrémement disponibles et professionnels, n'hésitant pas à conseiller et à vous aider à vous y retrouver. Dit hotel ligt midden in het centrum van Gent, superlocatie dus voor een weekend weg. Ontbijt en service waren prima. Wij hadden absoluut niets te klagen! Na het uitchecken konden we zelfs nog gebruik maken van het zwembad.Super dus.
